Truly terrible manners. Claim to know and represent every operating insurance into area but clearly only tries to oversell Regency. For Thailand, this is a terrible option.

I’m receiving two calls per day, and I don’t know how to opt out. F these guys.

Only contacted these yesterday, received a phone call today to send proposals. Because I am thorough I have checked them out both in reviews and with Companies House. They have a branch in the UK but not registered with Companies House...Of course on their website it doesn't give a Company Registration number or even details of where their H/O is or which Country they were formed. My proposal was also Regency, so checked them out too! The same, no H/O details, says they can be found in the UK but nothing on Companies House! Zilch.....

If an overseas company is carrying on business in the UK, it does not automatically mean that it must register with Companies House. You only need to register an overseas company when it has some degree of physical presence in the UK, such as a place of business or branch, where it carries on business.31 Dec 2020

very good with my insurance help. the people i spoke with know what they are talking about and so friendly.
Calling me to check if things are ok and if i need help. very good!

Claims to be comparing all top insurance companies in this region (Asia), only suggests one, wildly overpriced american insurance for this region.

PS. I'm still getting ~~ 1-2 calls per day from NowCompare even though I've declined any further contact or business.

Just stay away! There are FAR better options, with networked hospitals where you don't have to manually claim anything, and doesn't have the outrageous exception list that comes with the suggested packages from NowCompare.

I strongly don't recommend that you leave a phone number or email address on the Now Compare website. After I registered for the selection of the best insurance, I received a recommendation to take insurance at Regency for Expats (as did many who wrote reviews). After I replied that we need to think for a couple of days, agents from NowCompare called me and wrote to me 2 times every day. When I made it clear that their insurance doesn't suit me and we decided to choose another one, I received an almost threatening email to reconsider my decision and that my decision was wrong for such and such reasons.
I want to clarify that the NowCompare company didn't know what kind of insurance I chose.
The final feeling was that Regency for Expats either pays for advertising or co-owns a NowCompare. Because all clients receive the same recommendations regardless of age and health status.

I completely agree with the other reviews .this company is not professional .firstly it's called now compare and then Regency .so are we going thru 2 companies to get insurance ?that means higher rates . Also I get completely different people contacting me all the time . With different questions. They charge extremely high rates and can't even reply . I told one manthat I was not renewing my policy at it was too expensive. He said he'd try to get me a discount .. didn't hear anything. Then a woman Nicole writes to me offering me a discount but doesn't tell how much ... I replied asking her what is the discount .. She still has not replied after 5 days ! What a sham .. I'm going with Allianz in Indonesia it's more personal and I deal worh thr one person and it's half the price!

Be very careful about NowCompare as it seems they are in bed with Regency for expats.

NowCompare convinced me that Regency for expats was the best solution for my health cover and very sadly I took them at their word.

It wasn't until I had an accident on 26th December 2022 that i realised what a bunch of crooks Regency for expats are.

If you scroll through the reviews on this website you will see a theme emerging. NowCompare are pushing Regency for expats even though they have a terrible reputation for paying out legitimate claims.

Save yourself time and money. DO NOT listen to what they have to say. Get your own insurance through a reputable company. Avoid NowCompare or face huge medical bills when you need peace of mind

I was looking for a new insurance to cover me in Italy. I found new compare web, then I required a quotation. First day I got a call from staff Jessica and number shown from UK. I told her what I need and she said will send me details soon.
Two days later I received another call from HK. A British guy who works for this company, he asked me again what I need and he pretended that his colleague Jessica sent me the details through email already, I asked him forward to me that mail, he said he would like to schedule another phone call in next coming days. Why can’t forward it ? Because they don’t have !

I mean what kind of normal insurance company does this, which is keep changing phone number and customer representatives.

This morning they used UK number called me again, I blocked it, then immediately I got HK’s, then I blocked. And then back to another UK number.

Anyway there was no any major damage from my side, but stay at way from them, it’s not normal what they are doing, stay awayyyyy!

David Homer, one of their agents, was a typical snob, lecturing me on manners after I referred to him as mate.

My questions and concerns were not answered. When I asked for a customer support number in my country, he just sent me pictures with numbers in America, Africa, Asia, and, yes, Europe but no Portugal, of course.

The guy takes offence when you explain that his offer is a joke and simple critical questions remain unanswered. Maybe that's typical of their entire firm, but that's my experience only with him.

These people are not to be trusted with your valuable health insurance. They will do everything they can to avoid paying up for any genuine claim. I would strongly advise anyone who currently has a policy with them to change as soon as it becomes renewable because in the event of a claim, they won’t pay out.
Now Compare are directly linked to Regency for Expats, most likely part of the same company, so there is no impartiality, they always recommend this company. They are based in the Philippines so it is not easy to take any action against them in the event of any claim, they just disappear.
Truly a terrible company who prey upon the sick and weak knowing they don’t have the strength to fight back.

Please do not trust NowCompare as your agent for health insurance. The sales agent recommended Regency for Expats and it has been the single worst experience of any brand or company, in any sector, in my life.

On reflection, and with hindsight, I now see that the sales agent had no interest in recommending the best insurance provider to me, but pushing through a sale with Regency for Expat, who I presume they have a better commission rate with.

Please read the reviews on Regency for Expats, they are terrible. I do not recommend NowCompare or Regency for Expats, stay away.

Constant calls even after I emailed saying I wasn't interested. Big time ick factor.

First of all I am not sure how I got involved with this company. I was looking for a health insurance and I got a call from a representative for the Caribbean department. Long story short they insisted that I should get my insurance from Regency….. made them look much cheaper the the alternatives. When I said no because of bad reviews the came with some lame excuses. And then there said oh just been in contact with Regency and they offer another 10% off. Said no. They still try to call and write. And just now I got this email that started like this “I woke up this morning with a terrible feeling that if something would happen to you and you were not insured” that pissed me really off. This is as a minimum bullying or maybe downright criminal intentions.
What they did was offering me from Cigna at higher premium that I got directly from Cigna. Same is probably the case with other companies.

After suffering a broken neck and back, I was airlifted to hospital, fortunately I made a full recovery. However, Regency as recommended by Now Compare, would not pay for the Helicopter, that cost me 6,500 Euros. They also would not consider the claim unless I had all the documentation from the hospital translated into English, cost 1,500 Euros. There was no dedicated claim manager to inform me as to the progress of the claim. Everytime I rang I had to start the story from scratch with a new person in a new location. It took 4 months to settle under two thirds of the claim. Useless, stay away.

Provided many options for what I needed. Great choices and very patient with my questions. The one I chose has been brilliant so that's a great job by this company!

Presented me with a lot of options and really listened to my needs. Eventually took out a policy which not only was good for me but had loads of additional things too.
They didn't rush me or push me, just wanted what was best for me. Very appreciative

NowCompare very persuasive broker told me a bunch of lies and misrepresentations to convince me to enroll into an expat health insurance, Regency for expats. This insurance company did not provide any of the advertised benefits while they happily took my money. I was very poorly advised by NowCompare broker. I do not recommend doing business with these dudes.
Put your money elsewhere to avoid the stress the frustration and the medical expenses on top of the wasted insurances premiums.

Helpful people and always friendly to help.
