I unfortunately contacted them for an enquiry as I just relocated to a new country and I didn't know how insurance works here.
They have been spamming me with calls and emails and luckily I didn't sign anything even though they were so pushy.
They are liers, spammers and it really looks like a scam.
Stay away...

Good service very responsive and good recommendation of companies I was with Axa originally but found them to be really expensive but nowcomapre found me a much cheaper option one of the good guys

The worst service it's a front for Regency for Expats who will take your money and never pay out they will go to any length to deny you coverage. TO AVOID AT ALL COSTS you may as well throw your money in the drain

SCAM 🚨 They claim the best insurance is REGENCY and then when you question stuff by email you get a email from another Clients Relations Manager who claims he rang you and sends you the same policy and says it’s the best, No one called about my issues and they say it’s worldwide coverage and it’s not. BEWARE

LAWSUIT PENDING. It has been enlightening reading about how NowCompare pushes Regency. I am unfortunate to have a Regency policy through NowCompare. Because there was a 1 month gap between policies, all my prior medical data is being termed "pre-existing" so my insurance is useless. I had asked NowCompare questions related to a policy gap and they did not disclose any limitations.

Nowcompare is an Alliance Insurance Services Limited company, based in Hong Kong. I am now registering complaints with the HK Insurance Authority. Should they not refund my policy in full I will proceed with a lawsuit here in HK in the Small Claims Tribunal. I have been misled about my policy and this is a simple case of neglect. Should anyone find themselves in the same situation, take notice.

I have no idea where they got my information, I'm not looking for insurance provider at the moment.

They only offer Regency, they are not impartial at all and don't stop calling (every day at least 3 or 4 times).

I've been an expat for about 16 years in various places and have used a few different brokers. This one is the only one of them I've ever felt good enough about to refer other people to. They give me a total list of the insurance offers every year and make a recommendation based on what you want to pay (they also seem to recommend the best priced options too which is refreshing, whereas my old brokers were clearly trying to get me to pay over the odds to rake in their commissions).

I can only assume NowCompare and Regency are a linked company or the NowCompare staff are on a massive commission if they sell Regency policies and catching unassuming and innocent customers in the first year and then take massive advantage thereafter.

Charming until you ask questions.

Predominantly recommend Regency for Expats policies. Strange when you ask their Client Relations Managers for an alternative company they disappear. Would not expect that from a insurance broker.
Don't just read the positive reviews for Regency dig deeper. Also the basis for your policy pricing is not transparent.

Actual experience.
Price from NowCompare looks great.
Year 1 renewal sent from Regency 23% Increase. Challenge and told combination of your age increase (approx 12% for over 50's) and claim that the original NowCompare price included a further 10% original discount.
In addition to this your first years renewal letter is the first time you will see that your original premium was subject to a Low Claims Discount of 40%. Hence should you claim more than 120% of your paid premium in a year, then you premium the following year will jump a further 40% on top. So your book premium could be significant more than other companies.

None of this will be disclosed during the sales pitch and push to get you to sign up.

Also with regards to Regency for Expat try to find
- Any company registration / office address outside of the address in Nevis in the Caribbean Sea.
- Accreditation with any international insurance body
- Correspondence has no company number or registered addresses etc. Only links to Reviews.co.uk which you can believe what you think about those.

Fast response and friendly staff. They sent me a run-down of the options in price order and rather than trying to sell me something expensive like other brokers had done, they were happy to talk me through cheaper options that were in my budget. Went with a big international insurer through now compare and am pleased with the customer service.

To call this company persistent, is a compliment and to call their sales aggressive, is an understatement. To put it mildly, if you ever dare to fill in a request for a quote, they will harass you for months (by email and phone). Thanks to smartphones having a 'block caller' feature. Their mails go straight to the bin too. But I still get at least 3-4 mails and calls a week, months after rejecting their offer for insurance.

Reading the below 1 star review is a real #headdesk moment for me. I've been using this broker for 4 years give or take a few months and every year they do me a full comparison of the insurance companies. And every year I tell them their job is to keep my premiums DOWN. You just have to read the price comparison to see why Regency gets recommended (and why I keep renewing with them). It really isn't rocket science.
The Now Compare team has saved me a fortune over the years.
