Satnav works fine ... but it's an unwanted gift. Tried to get in contact but so far, after FIVE emails, no reply. No phone number either. Basically, customer service and support don't appear to exist!. Followed process for a return..... no reply. (Shock)

0 stars if that were an option!. The word Orbitnav doesn't appear on the unit or in the packaging or onscreen – is this even a real brand? Clearly this device hasn't a clue how to get anywhere. Comes wih a few scraps of plastic which are probably supposed to assemble into a holder, but don't. Voice – when you can hear it – constantly tries to send you the wrong way. Rubbish, avoid

This is much better than using my phone, especially on long trips. The menus feel a little dated compared to newer devices, but it still works really well.

I live in the countryside, where mobile signals are hit or miss. This sat nav never loses track and gives turn-by-turn guidance perfectly.

Sent a cheap sat nav which can be bought for half the price of £119. They blocked my emails when I contacted them. Customers beware of this Chinese outfit

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! I purchased an ORBITNAV from orbitnav.co.uk and received a much cheaper product, a MEDIATEK. I have emailed back & forth telling them they have mis-sold me a product that I do not want. They are now ignoring me. I am absolutely disgusted with them! After sending evidence that MEDIATEK & ORBITNAV are not the same thing, they replied that what they sent was exactly the same (WRONG!) and that they had not yet licensed the ORBITNAB brand. How stupid do they think I am? I believed I was making my purchase from the UK, and that there were seven in stick, yet the rubbish they sent me was sent from China. Their emails have been repetitive, very basic and at times poor grammar, signed off "Cheers, Elaine - marketing director"
DO NOT TRUST THEM, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. I paid £119 for a MEDIATEK that retails for a quarter of the price. I will continue to send updates, until they make this right! You can not even call them, and I was told by my bank fraud team, that it isn't just one company I am dealing with, as they have many sellers with their own company names. If nothing else, I hopefully will save others from getting scammed and mis-sold. In the next update, I will name the guilty subsidiary company name, and the rediculous information they sent me! You will be shocked!

Ordered for a motor home as have had problems with satnav in the past driving large vehicles. Delivery was fast. Have used several times now and very pleased. Vehicle height, width and length can be input so difficult locations can be avoided. This function is very expensive on other satnav systems.

Used this sat nav on a long cross- country drive, and it worked perfectly even in remote areas. It never lost signal and got us every stop without a hitch.

I purchased this sat nav last October and it sent me down a cul de sac, not good but not disastrous.
I used it in France and it sent me on a 100km diversion compared to Google maps. I drive a motorhome and I had put in the relevant dimensions, so I expected some differences. However, when I reset the device and used it in car mode, the route was exactly the same. When contacting Orbitnav they said no refund was possible as I had had the device more than a week!
It performed adequately in Spain and Portugal but I had tried to load the Africa map and did not know if it had worked.
Somehow, I had done something to the European map and nothing worked, the device just hung. I was able to turn off the automatic running of the navigation element. I contacted the 'helpline?' nearly six weeks ago and they have not helped at all, now they just don't bother answering. Their suggestions were banal to say the least, as if they do not know what they are talking about.
I cleared the device and loaded their Spain/Portugal map and this actually worked. However, there was no navigation allowed to Spain but it seemed I could get instructions for Estonia and Poland! They do not seem to have an appreciation for geography .
After that, I found that a Content folder has information about the various countries, so I copied the Spain files from the Europe map into the Spain/Portugal version. When I started the device, there was a map for Spain. I then took all the other European content and copied that in. Again it all worked and so I renamed the system Europe. It has been used in earnest recently and looks reasonable. I will stick with it until I find something better. My main concern is the notification of map changes, for example the change in use of Portuguese motorways from toll to non-toll, which affect route finding.
So device OK, support diabolical.

Feels well-built and sturdy. The windscreen mount is strong too - doesn't wobble or fall off like my old one did. Directions are clear and give in plenty of time. The speed camera warnings are a nice touch!

Setup was super quick, under 5 minutes. The screen is bright and easy to read, even when it's sunny out. I like that you can tweak the display view and the alerts aren't too intrusive. Good bit of kit overall.

Fantastic for motorways and longer journeys. Can sometimes be a bit slow finding a new route in busy city traffic, but it beats getting lost or losing phone signal!

It's not the fanciest sat nav out there, but it does everything I need reliably. The maps are easy to see, traffic updates are pretty accurate, and it hasn't crashed ono me once. For what it costs, it's bargain.

I must prefer a proper sat nav so I don't get distracted by phone notifications. This one's reliable, sticks firmly to the windscreen and gives clear instructions right when you need them. Makes driving less stressful.

Been using this sat nav for a few weeks, and it's solid. Gives accurate directions, the voice is clear, and it finds a new route fast if I mess up. Much prefer it to my phone.

Bought on recommendation of “techtesting” who recommended this as the one of the top 3 satnavs.

We had it on charge all night, went 2 miles and the device went on low battery.
No sound, device got overheated and none of the functions worked.
Please read negative reviews as we cannot return this product now unless we bear the cost.
Trust pilot must have a lot of good reviews that are certainly questionable. We will be wary of positive recommendations in future.

After 2 months of occasional use, the Orbitnav would charge up to full battery. Then within a few hours UNUSED showing zero battery. Contacted the company and was asked to take a video of the satnav not charging.which is impossible.

Took this on a big European road trip and it didn't miss a beat, worked perfectly everywhere. The lane guidance and speed limit alerts were super helpful. The battery holds up okay, but I usually just keep it plugged in.

The product is rubbish. No user guide included and bracket to attach device to windscreen does not fit. No app for updating maps like Garmin Express is mentioned. Also no refund is available if unsatisfied because it has to be returned to China with shipping costs and tariffs borne by the purchaser

Don't buy anything from this place, not only the products are rubbish, but they don't give you your money back.
