@Zarin Ahmed you can get your money back within 14 days of making the donation. Penny Appeal have a legal obligation to give you a full refund. So I would advice you to take you money back from this scam sole called charity. And please research before giving your hard earned money.

I’ve just seen these reviews after donating 4 olive trees in my families name. After reading it I don’t know what to do. I am seeing reviews about the money going to the CEO is that true? If so What do I do now. How do I get the money back if what they say is not the truth. Is this legit

Unfortunately I only read all these reviews after I had been donating money every month since last year November. I put my full trust into penny appeal and thought that my money was going where it really needed to. Just recently my mum told me to not donate money to any charity without checking their background. Now I feel so bad and regretful that all my money didn’t even go to the needy :(
Just yesterday, I emailed Penny Appeal asking for my money back because I found out that the money doesn’t go where needed and they wrote back simply refusing to give my money back.. can anyone please tell me what to do now? I will really appreciate your help. I cant put my email address here because trust pilot won’t allow me to but can anyone please just write back to me on here. Thank you.

Terrible organization. I started dealing with this organization about October 2018 where I send me $ to open water wells on behalf of my deceased mom and dad. They promised me that they will send all the info if the new wells with pictures within 12 month. This the last time I heard from them. I have sent them at least 5 emails around oct nov 2019 with no response I called them and still calling them till now April 2020 but with no response I left them voice messages but no one bother to call back. I did receive from them tax receipt fir my donation. I honestly have no idea if the money used for the wells or !!!

I paid for for 1 year child sponsorship never received any information on the child I was sponsoring very disappointed with the poor service I received.

the people who host the charities on tv are loud and hard core sellers as if they are on commission. leads me to believe the cause gets peanuts after cuts, need more transparency.

Purchased 2 teddies for my kids. 1 month no delivery then i messaged. After counless messages on facebook recieved only 1 teddy paid for 2 and expected 2. So ive rang for the second and the customer service staff only lie. No delivery over 5 days and say wait longer. When i said i want a refund the rep got rude and abusive. Please think before you purchase as they dont post things out. And continuously make you call and pass you off. They call and send countless request for donations but when they need to do some work you see the charity for what they really are.

I donated to this Charity thinking I could, in some small way, help children in dire need. However, since my donation I have had nothing but hassling text messages which I find annoying and quite frankly upsetting. My donation (which in my opinion was quite generous given my circumstances) was made with the best of intentions. These texts messages, which I've tried to cancel through their text return link and by a complaint/email, continue and are tantamount to begging for more money. Now I'm not so sure the money goes to those who truly need this urgent help. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of donating to think carefully before they decide. What was meant to be a good gesture on my part has turned into a not so nice outcome.

The worst charity I have ever donated to. Do NOT trust this charity - Penny Appeal are the spokespeople for the Amir Khan Foundation who have failed to submit their annual return and accounts on time for three consecutive years. UNACCEPTABLE.
