fraud on my account

people, this bank is not safe, they stole from me and the bank just washes its hands, I lost 3 years of savings there, banks exist to keep our money safe, but this bank is a joke

TSB disgusting Servie

If they had -10 that is what I would rate TSB 72 hours still no call back from Fraud department. I feel sorry for the Girls that answer the phone as they are helpless. On Sunday on the phone for 2hours meant to call back yesterday nothing on the phone for 2.5 hours today now told they will call back. As soon as this is sorted I will be out of this account

DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

PTSB have turned their high street banks into glorified ATM arcades, providing no normal banking services. Telephone service is unbelievably slow and almost useless. Invariably get someone who takes all the security details, can't do anything and has to transfer you to some other department that either just doesn't answer or else, after all the same questions, has to transfer you again. After several calls over an hour, trying in vain to speak to the fraud department (after receiving a text to call them immediately), I've given up. They're very busy I was told. I await a call back. Grrrr!

The PTSB app is so frustrating

The PTSB app is so frustrating, says “an unexpected error has occurred” but the same message has been on the app for at least 10 days now & I have to find an ATM to check my account balance & transactions.
Technical service & support appears to be non existent.
Nothing happens when I press the Help option on the app.
No customer information or assistance is being provided regarding this technical problem.
Extremely annoying, frustrating
and totally unacceptable lack of communication, zero customer support & no service whatsoever

I would give zero stars. Go elsewhere I have been locked out of my account for just over a month asI did not pass security questions so these have to be reset. After call and waiting 20 minutes, from abroad and paying for call, supervisor told me I would be called from centre yo reset questions. No call in one month. Other option is to write a letter. I sent registered letter with proof of delivery which arrived there over a week ago. I had to call again Friday and the letter is apparently in the hands of complaints dept. I was put through and...you can't talk, you have to leave voicemail. My official payments are overdue and asked to be called back urgently. Still no call. Will look into making other formal complaints higher up

I had a very bad experience with this bank with their castletroy limerick branch, my account was closed , but a company online sent 1,000 euros by mistake to this account , I tried to negotiate with the staffs and the brach manager, they tried to ask me to submit many requirements and after more 2 years ,they asking for more requirements and did everything they ask ,and they never gave my money, the staff dealing with me felt sorryfor me but its the manager ,who had the intention of keeping my money, please avoid this bank at all cost, the manager is heartless

Bring your custom elsewhere

Friendly staff but unable to fulfil what would have typically been considered standard transactions due to a cash-free system in place in many branches. Customer service is also difficult to contact. When contacted, they seem very limited in what they can do to help and tell you to go into a branch. The staff in the branch then sometimes refer you back to the customer service phone line. Lastly, the increasing lack of physical branches is really irritating. After almost 20 years with PTSB, I'll be switching to another bank.

Fraud Watch Team

I made an unusual online payment and received a "suspected fraud" text message few hours later advising to call 24hr helpline. I spotted the message well after midnight at the weekend - I called expecting to be passed from one automated menu to another. My call was answered in less than a minute, spoke to Gerard, confirmed the transaction was genuine - very reassuring to know that PTSB crew work around the clock so I can sleep peacefully knowing my money is safe. Greediest bank ever

I am 50 years old and had no such a bad bank before, like this greedy, angry organisation of petty swindlers When I moved money before closing the account in this bank, they ripped me off for rejected direct debit (yes, they have a penalty for that) 3 times in a row in one day for the same DD. Can you imagine the kind of vindictive ignorance that works there?

1.7% transaction fee on a sterling payment with no maximum limit on the fee is daylight robbery. Do not get a ptsb credit card

PTSB Sacrifice paying customers to vulture fund.

We had a mortgage with PTSB in Main Street Blanchardstown since the year 2000, in 2007 we gave them more business with another mortgage and in 2021 they sold our performing mortgage to the vulture fund Pepper along with many other people's without warning or explanation.

We are currently been charged approximately € 800 more every month with Pepper exorbitant rate and there is nothing we can do.

As PTSB's actions have put my family and I in this situation, we have approached them to put right all the harm they have done, by simply allowing us to switch back to them considering we never missed one payment.

So what stops PTSB Main Street in Blanchardstown from selling your mortgage? Absolutely nothing.
I would recommend to anyone reading this to switch to a bank with better ethics.
I am originally from Clonsilla, I thought I was doing the right thing going with the local bank, but clearly not.
Just be clear, we met with Reese Murphy, the branch manager, to ask him to help us in getting away from this terrible situation PTSB put us in, but he was unable to help us due to senior management.

The truth needs to come out about the practices of this bank.
Very few know the damage this very branch has done to many mortgage holders and it is time everyone was made aware of it.

I will be starting a peaceful protest outside this branch from Monday the 10th of June 2024 at 10 am onwards and handing out proof of my statement above for anyone who wants to listen. Please support me.

I have been a customer for awhile now…

I have been a customer for awhile now and I contacted them numerous times in person and via phone. They continue to charge me a refunded mail charge of 10 dollars even though the address they have on file is correct. The have yet to rectify this issue even thou it has been going on for 5 months now. It is ridiculous.

Online banking disaster

The app is always days behind. It's impossible to see what money you have. They charge 10 for a returned direct debit (4.44- Ulster bank) but its so difficult to keep the account in credit because you have to guess how much money you have available. It's like something from the 90s. It can't be that difficult to have your balance update instantly on your account PTSB get your IT dept sorted please. The other financial institutions can do it. Times are hard enough financially.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

This is so far the worst experience I’ve ever had with this bank. I’ve been locked out from my account after the latest updates.

I’ve been calling the bank six times now and no one can help me because I am failing their security questions. Who can remember them all???

Especially the app was registered with my current phone and was working perfectly fine, and after the update it locked me out. Not able to use the web app either.

They are telling me to go into a branch but I’m not in Ireland anymore.

Next time I’m in the branch, it will be to close the account and never again!

Traveling abroad, had put time and dates of where I was going on travel notes. Twice so far it's locked me out of my account for no reason. Spent 2 days the first time to fix it, happened again, called from abroad using an atrocious amount of money to do so, was told they couldn't help me because the address they have on file (old address that I've been into the branch in person to update several times but to no avail) isn't the right one on security questions. So now I'm stranded abroad with all my money in my account inaccessible to me, have about 20quid to my name to survive til next week, havnt eaten anything today. Thanks a lot guys, will be closing my account first thing when I'm home!!

Impossible to get in touch with to…

Impossible to get in touch with to order a new card. The published phone numbers frequently return 'number not recognised' and within the app when I try to order new card just get 'error', Got through by phone once and after a long conversation cut off and no call back. Luckily card lost not stolen, otherwise someone could be on a spending spree, uninterrupted. I need to close this account - banks that hate to talk to their customers are not ones I want to do business with
