10/10 Gordon Niven

Hi I had a Ping fitting with Gordon Niven in Banchory, very impressed with his golfing knowledge and advice at fitting last week. Only went in for a wood, but now have ordered new set of Ping Irons, 3 x woods and purchased new driver, none of which I was looking for. Having the correct fitting will improve my game and enjoyment going forward.
Having worked on swing with lessons over winter, my swing has changed which required me to change my entire set of golf clubs with new improved stiff shafts. 10/10 Thanks Gordon

Driver less than a year old suddenly…

Driver less than a year old suddenly broke, not a big deal but I reached out to warranty claims to get the process started and was told I'd hear back in 48 hours. It's been 7+ days with no reply, the company is completely non responsible and meanwhile I cannot play golf.

In the future I will spend my golf money with companies that are responsive to their customers, and will advise others to do the same.

Ping UK Customer Services were…

Ping UK Customer Services were extremely helpful when I called regarding the weight screw on my G440 Max. The next day, the club head was collected from American Golf, and returned a few days later. Premium product followed up with excellent after sales service. Well done PING UK team.

New GLE3 clubs rusting problem

I bought new Pings and havre GLE3 ladies clubs, I was fitted for them at Affordable golf, spending over £2k. I love the clubs and they play well, however, I am really disappointed with the rusting on the clubs, all of the woods have rusted and they are only a few months old, they have not been left in damp conditions after play, PING believe they have, the customer care has been less than satisfactory, Customer Service advised that they don’t deal with the customer, only the shop the clubs were bought from - some customer service!! They have offered to take the clubs back and cleaning them, my concerns is is this will happen again, as well as being left without clubs in the playing season, Ping don’t want to acknowledge this. I would not advise buying new Pings and ladies GLE3 until this get this issue resolved.

9 iron snapped in half and contacted…

9 iron snapped in half and contacted customer support. Took 2 months to get answers and said they were updating software so wait time will be 4-6 weeks (not including the 2 months of responses). Didnt use my 9 iron this whole golf season.

Ping says my shaft isn't covered under…

Ping says my shaft isn't covered under warranty. So I purchased a PING drive just over a year ago for £550 with a two-year warranty. The shaft snapped during a recent medal competition. The club was returned to the shop to claim on warranty, but Ping pushed back on the claim. Not impressed, especially after spending this amount of money. On the bright side, the ball landed in the middle of the fairway, an 8 iron on the green, and a 2 putt for a par. Joking apart, my new driver won't be Ping. David Leaf - 07427445834

I was so impressed by the customer…

I was so impressed by the customer service of ping in Peoria I am still stunned I purchase my custom Ping club with another custom fitting company had issue hitting them call customer service at ping they offer to review and correct anything I was not happy with to my stupefaction they actually not only told me what was wrong but the corrected it at NO CHARGED unheard of those days
Tyler Pingel was my custom fitter what an incredible company they not trying to up sale you the truly want you total satisfaction
Ping you have a customer for life in me

Stole my credit card #!

My credit card is being used by this exact company for $0.01 to check if card is available for use! Blocked my card. Thank god I was awake a midnight on a sun night!

Snapped g430 driver shaft

Bought a g430 driver in April 2023, the shaft snapped in December 2024. I haven't abused this driver, just normal use. Ping customer service won't even reply to my emails. Shocking quality of driver shaft and even worse customer service.

Great company to work with

Recently had my 8 iron club head separate from the shaft and splash into the water. I reported this to the distributor I purchased the club from and PING sent me out a replacement club. Just wanted to say THANKS. Appreciate the company standing behind their product.

Bought a set of Custom Fit i530 irons…

Bought a set of Custom Fit i530 irons and the PW came with the incorrect head on it (correct grip, shaft, lie, serial no.). Ping refused to rectify the problem stating they 'had no record of an i230 with the serial number given' - obviously not, because it's supposed to be an i530!
This is my third set of Ping Custom Fit Irons and will be my last. As much as I love them, the customer service has been a pain and resulted in having to pay for an i530 PW to replace the i230 as I was finding myself in need of it and getting no further forward with Ping.

Ping no more ,terrible product

Bought a ping putter used about 10 times and took great care of it.
Alloy started corroding and paint blistered and fell off.
Really poor quality.
Neither ping or Snainton Golf were interested.
Won't use either again

Ping after sales very disappointing for such a major company

I went for a fitting as I was taking up golf and I wanted PING, I was measured and given advice on what clubs to buy, however they sold me a full set along with Hybrids too! so I felt fleeced, £1800 later!!!
a year later still having only used the clubs a handful of times, I just couldn't seem to get it right, so I went to another PING fitting day and was told that the Clubs were in fact the wrong size and I was given the red dot when in fact it should have been the Black dot. I was very disappointed as not only was I mis sold golf clubs but it totally knocked my confidence as the clubs were too big for me. I contacted PING customer services in September but I am still waiting for a reply. This is very disappointing and the after sales and customer care as been shocking for such a major company who must make thousands!!! I really thought that I would at least get an acknowledgement but NOTHING! Regardless of whether I am a Pro or not I am a customer and all should be treated the same. I would love PING to contact me and hopefully sort out my issue as I love Golf and want to continue with the sport.

I bought the Ping Hoofer Lite bag which…

I bought the Ping Hoofer Lite bag which I thought would be the ideal bag as I only carry 12 clubs. However, I have never experience clubs getting tangled and stuck in the bag quite like this. It’s a 4 way divider and I have 3 clubs in each slot and it’s really bad. Maybe this bag is aimed at 10 clubs or less, but if you carry more than this I would avoid this bag. It will ruin your grips and shafts in no time.

They got 1 star as I couldn’t leave any less!!

Similar to another customer on here, I purchased a Ping DLX cart bag from Snainton Golf.
After less than a month of use (I only play once a week!), there are wear marks where it sits on the trolley.
I contacted Ping directly who were less than helpful, telling me to send back to Snainton where I purchased it from.
I did this and after waiting 2 weeks, Ping have said it is the fault of the Motocaddy trolley I put it on!!!???
I have a Motocaddy M5 GPS which has been excellent. I had one of the Motocaddy dry series bags on it for nearly 2 years without a blemish. Wish I’d have kept it!!
For a premium golf bag that cost in excess of £200, I think this is a disgrace.
I’m not entirely impressed by Snainton golf after this either. I’ve been shopping with them for many years including purchasing this very trolley. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ping or Snainton Golf Service issue - you choose

I have previously purchased from Snainton Golf, and impressed with their service and good customer attitude. I gave them 5 stars.

Recently, I got a quote for an additional PING iron to supplement a set I had previously purchased. I provided the serial number code for the irons, agreed a price and informed by Snainton Golf that they would place the order with PING on the Friday, and they would get in touch when they arrived. (After the weekend).

After waiting a week, (on the 2nd Friday) I had heard nothing, so phoned up Snainton Golf again, to be informed, that the order had been placed with PING, but they hadn’t put it on their system. But PING had agreed to Priority build the club and prioritise it so it would be shipped after the second weekend.

After waiting another week, (on the 3rd Friday) and with no update from Snainton Golf, I had to call them again to establish the situation. They cleared blamed PING, saying the PING currently did not have the right length of the type of shaft to match my set, but said they could utilise a longer shaft, modify this and get it to me, within the week.

I verbally cancelled the order with Snainton Golf, and placed the order with the Golf Pro at my local Golf Club. This was done on the following Tuesday, and PING delivered the club, within 4 days.

Whilst Snainton Golf were the customer focused part of the supply chain, I am unsure who was really at fault, but listing this same report on both TrustPilot Accounts I have given 2 stars ★★ to Snainton Golf, as they should have been chasing my order throughout, and 4 stars ★★★★ to PING, as my custom fit irons have lowered my handicap, and they evidently need to aware of this failure of delivery to tighten up their supply chain situation with their multi-faceted supplier relationship.
