Misleading setup feels like a scam- I thought I was paying $1 for a report but actually was paying for a $30 account, recurring monthly, and $1 for a report. This should have been stated more clearly. The way the site is setup, it's easy to miss what you're actually paying for and feels like it's intentionally misleading. That being said the chat feature was super helpful and fast in canceling my account and on a Sunday morning.

I Paid for services to look up VINs on my 2 old cars. They were great and worth the price, just didn't use the service enough personally. Customer service team is extremely quick to answer, very helpful and overall fantastic.

Somewhat misleading site. Upon close inspection it is clear they are not a government site and that billing is $30 every 30 days for 2 years, but upon checkout they separate a $1 report fee from the $30 subscription fee which seems optional however by clicking next you not only bypass the page but also authorize the additional $30 recurring charge!

When I discovered the charge I realized my silly mistake and was able to receive a speedy resolution via the chat feature. My account was canceled, charge refunded & confirmation numbers provided all in less than a minute. Pending charge was immediately removed from my bank account.

Ultimately, they seem to operate a predatory business model targeting people who are likely already dealing with increased stress, BUT customer service is amazing and as soon as I realized I had been had the cancellation and refund process was seamless.
