Jeg har lige opdaget at WinZip har "givet mig et abonnement jeg ikke har bedt om og trukket penge fra min konto, har været kubde hos dem kun en måned for et år siden så de kunne gå ind og trække penge. De er tyve så pas på og skift jeres bankoplysninger.

The paid version of the software spams you at every week with desktop adverts that cannot be stopped whilst its installed. Constant bombardment of promotions that no one wants. WinZip is archiving software, not something that I think about purchasing every year because theres a 'new feature'.

I have purchased every new version of Winzip, mostly with upgrade assurance since version 1 of Winzip.
I paid for upgrade assurance last year, and it is still valid, but Corel will not give me a key for the latest version 25.
BUT, they have sent me an email asking me to renew my upgrade assurance shortly.
Despite using the same name and email address, they have now just asked me to prove that I have bought the product.
TOTALLY INCOMPETENT THIEVES!

WinZip is a name that has long been associated with computing and I always had the perception they were a reputable company. However, I purchased a subscription to WinZip Ultimate PC Care on the 13th January 2019. When I clicked the download link my anti-virus went ballistic with an ominous warning about the web page. I sent a screen grab of the warning to WinZip for an explanation. On the 14th January 2019 I received an automated reply that promised a response within 24 HOURS. I did not download and install the software (paid for mind you), pending the response. I'm still waiting!!! My subscription was automatically renewed in January this year, so I tried the link given in their renewal email yesterday. Once again my anti-virus went crazy and this time the warning was even more ominous: " This web page is on the list of websites with dubious reputation or websites with potentially unwanted content." I fired off another email, referring to the previous one from 2019, and again received an automated reply. I doubt I'll get a further response so am NOT waiting with bated breadth. I have resolved to cancel my subscription and laugh WinZip off as a bad nightmare.

Fup og Svindel. Først køber "man" 1 produkt. Inden der er et overblik, er der trukket på kreditkortet, for program nr. 2. Ved opfølgning, er allerede 3. program klar til at blive betalt for.
Både download program 2 og tilbud på program 3, var udenfor min kontrol.

These people are sneaky (and that's me being unusually polite when I get screwed). After getting a string of emails offering a "cheap" upgrade to the latest version, I decided to pay for it. A couple of weeks later I received an email telling me that I was eligible for a free upgrade to the latest version i.e., the version that I'd just paid to upgrade. I contacted them and they didn't bother replying. It only cost me €18.32, and the only upside is that I didn't give them a lot more. That will be the last time that they get any money out of me.

I purchased the paid for version of the winzip app that has features not in the free version, however the paid version of WinZip for Android used to work, then after an update a year ago the paid for features stopped working, contacting WinZip they said they were aware of the problem and said it had been reported to the developers and they were waiting for a fix, months went buy and no fix, emails to WinZip got the reply they are to busy developing the desktop version of WinZip to get around to fixing the broken android version, 12 month on no fix and they will no longer reply to any of my emails

Først betalte jeg alt for meget for et års-abonnement på Winzip, som de bildte mig ind ville forbedre min computers præstationer. Det skete så ikke, tværtimod. Det var imidlertid næsten værre endnu, at firmaet efterfølgende bombarderede mig med det ene "tilbud" efter det andet, masse-spam i ordets egentlige betydning. Jeg slap først af med firmaets spam-hetz, da jeg helt fjernede Winzip fra min PC, så da jeg for nylig blev informeret om, at det var tid til at forny mit abonnement, skyndte jeg mig naturligvis at melde det fra. Det hjalp desværre intet. Nu har de netop opkrævet endnu et års abonnement for deres komplet ubrugelige produkter. Jeg vil stærkt advare andre mod at handle med dette svindelfirma! Grrrrrr!!!!

En pengemaskine/a money machine

Fik Winzip updater installeret. Virkede tilsyneladende, men så kom der en Windows 10 opdatering og Winzip fortalte mig at jeg kun kunne installerer programmet på en computer og at prøvetiden var udløbet. Jeg kontaktede dem adskillige gange, 5 for at være korrekt, men de svarede aldrig tilbage. Så opgav jeg det. Men så var de der pludselig med at opkræve abodement, så jeg beklagede mig igen. Men fik kun det svar at hvis jeg forsat ville bruge programmet skulle jeg betale. Hvem vil betale for et program der ikke virker......

What a big lie, Manipulation

I forbindelse med at jeg skulle re-installere en ældre bærbar, havde jeg rigtig svært ved at finde de rigtige driver. Det klarede Winzip. Så de 280 kr var godt givet ud.
(eneste minus er at man skal køre winzip en del gange, for at få alle drivere med)
