I purchased The Cream Cleanser and The Gel Cleanser having not used either before but having used, and still using, other Skin Rocks products. Both of these products caused rashing, stinging and itching on my face, neck and chest. I used them initially together (one at night, the other in the morning) then took a break for a few days and introduced them again in isolation but I was faced with the same issues. Prior to use I patch tested both behind my ears (one each ear). Realising that I wasn’t going to be able to use either product successfully, I contacted the Skin Rocks Customer Service team. I was sent an email with an extensive list of questions and a separate questionnaire. I answered every single question within the email and the separate questionnaire which now means they hold personal details about me and can keep hold of this for several years. All of this would be fine if the intensive probing had lead to anything other than basically “we are sorry you had a reaction, everyone’s skin is different, we don’t know what caused it, please get in touch if we can help with anything else.” Essentially I am out of pocket to the tune of £61 (I had a £10 off voucher which is why I decided to treat myself as a belated birthday gift after a three year span which has seen me nearly lose my life after an acute illness and, during a very difficult recovery process, become carer to my previously extremely independent almost 90 year old mother). Joy and happiness have been in very short supply and I thought this little treat would restore some of that especially being able to use the much lauded new The Gel Cleanser. Alas all it has done is leave me feeling patronised, concerned about my personal data and broke. I waited for 9 days after providing all the information they asked for this response. Why? They could’ve told me sorry but you’re out of pocket on day one. Why go through the motions of pretending they care or that some sort of satisfactory to the customer resolution was forthcoming? I am aware they don’t provide refunds on open products but to not have any form of recourse if a product causes an issue is mind blowing and, I think, quite unusual.
My advice is to purchase any Skin Rocks products from other outlets that have a decent refund policy until you’re certain that your skin will respond well to them and then purchase from Skin Rocks directly as they do have some nice offers at times. I am going to try the two cleansers on my mum during our pamper sessions in the hopes that her skin tolerates them.
I am incredibly disappointed as you would have thought that this company, above all others, would do better in these circumstances. I will use up the Skin Rocks items I have, however, I am unlikely to spend further on any other Skin Rocks products in the future after this experience.

Really disappointing customer service for first time customer.
Was meant to get a free flannel on order, but because it was my first order I was also entitled to 15% off. Didn’t realise you couldn’t get both and after receiving order realised I had been charged £8 for the flannel which had been automatically added to my basket!
Contacted customer services and was directed to FAQs and given a complicated set of instructions about how to return it to them, tracked and at my own cost.
When you’re used to excellent customer service from some companies, this comes as a shock and has really put me off shopping there again, sadly. I mean even Temu offer paid refunds!

Brilliant products and honestly outstanding customer service. Retinol 2 is the single most effective yet gentle product I have ever used (and I’ve been around). Nothing has ever had more impact on my skin tone, texture, clarity and balance of sebum. No irritation even when used in the dead of winter in north of Sweden, where is my flaky skin? Nowhere to be seen.

Having first ordered the cleanser, I have now also purchased the bookends and can safely say I love the moisturiser and flannel too. Caroline Hirons is my go to guru for all skincare now and she never steers me wrong!

First order with Skin Rocks. I brought the Support Oil. I was sent an empty bottle with no product inside. It was £60. I’m not impressed to say the least!
Raised with customer service to be addressed, let’s see what the response is. But it’s definitely put me off ordering again given the lack of quality control!

Absolutely in love with the Skin Rocks Retinoid 1 treatment.
I’ve used retinoids in the past but my skin never got on well with them & gave me redness & a burning pain. This product has been brilliant for my sensitive skin. Delivers results without any irritation. Onto my next refill.
And have to say the customer service team are fab. Big shout out to the lovely Hannah who has been excellent in offering me advice when I was unsure about moving up to retinoid 2 & if I needed to. Some great skin care tips provided by her & very prompt replies too.
So nice to have such a great service & products.

My first order didn't go through even tho Paypal was showing it was OK, I had to contact the support because nothing was moving - no confirmation, no warning of the failed payment. Unfortunately, nothing they could do, the kit ran out of stock. Conclusion: don't use PayPal for flash sales if you want to be sure to grab your kit.
My second order went through and was shipped rather promptly, however, if you are located in the EU, be aware that you will go through a lot of hassle to get your parcel (local customs) and will have to pay taxes (not only the regular VAT but also some wicked DHL fees, surprise). I am happy with the kit, however, not ready to go through the tax hassle.

Got the app and was excited to find the best products for me.
Searched for Vegan , SPF and it told me that Bondi Sands was the best for me.
I went to Boots and bought 4 different products- only to find out when I got home they are not Vegan !!!
Really not happy!
I’ve gone back to the app to see if I made a mistake, but no - it’s recommending Non - Vegan products- as Vegan . Not impressed!
