I called Smith Thompson because I heard an advertisement and liked the price structure with no contract required. They came out and upgraded my keypads and re-connected all of my window and door sensors. They could not connect the fire alarms because they said that my house is not up to code with the number of fire alarms. So I purchased some standalone fire alarms for all of the necessary places and then they came back at no additional costs and connected my two hard wired alarms. I feel so secure knowing that they are monitoring my home for break-ins and fire 24 hours a day.

Used Smith Thompson since 2002. Just moved to a new home in Celina and they transferred service seamlessly and it's just like the same service I have been getting over the years. The team did not try to up-sell - I told them what I wanted and they delivered it. I did call several other companies for quotes and every one of them was almost double for the services I wanted, so I stayed with Smith Thompson. Remember - value is in the eye of the person making the payment and receiving the service, not the person making the commission!

Right then and there I knew that we had made a great decision. The panel we have is easy to work and the technician makes sure you know how to work everything before he leaves. The pricing is exactly what they show online. No hidden fees or increase when bill arrives. Do not hesitate to hire these folks. They go above and beyond for the customer.

Smith Thompson made it easy to switch over from ADT – save me over $60 a month! The tech came out, was right on time, and had the whole thing wrapped up in about a half an hour. I love that they are local to Texas, and whenever I call, they are helpful.

the setup process was quick and easy, and the technician was explain me slowly and detail. I like the fact that it is no contract and we can cancel anytime. The only thing is the basic plan doesn't include a remote to turn on and off alarm. that's why it didn't get 5 star.
