As a result of an insurance claim, I was obliged to be fitted with my replacement hearing aids by Sound Hearing. Having always had hearing tests done in a clinical environment, I was a little concerned that a home visit would not produce such good results: I couldn’t have been more wrong! Louise took time to not only to thoroughly test my hearing, but explained everything clearly and patiently, leaving me with the best hearing quality I’ve had since I started using aids.

After spending several months trying to find someone to check out my brother-in-law's hearing aids (the original supplier had ceased trading) I was given this company's details by Phonak (the manufacturer). They made a home visit and sorted out the units. Louise was efficient, knowledgeable, pleasant and very patient with my brother-in-law (who has had 5 strokes and is disabled). There was no pressure to buy new hearing aids just good honest service. I cannot recommend this company highly enough, the service was excellent. My thanks to them for resolving all of our problems.

Having found somewhere online that arranges for for visits for audiologists, a call back was made to book an appointment. From the word go, we were listed to in regard of what was needed and required, taking in to account my past use of hearing aids. Nothing was too much trouble, with no pushy sales pitch involved. A good range of hearing aids on offer to suit most budgets. Would thoroughly recommend.

Not a lot to say really apart from what a great service Louise always delivers what she says she will , she’s always available if you need help, and quite frankly im yet to meet an audiologist who can set my hearing aids up like Louise , if you need hearing aids just use Sound Hearing none of the big companies will give you one on one service like this that i can guarantee.

We are very pleased with the service from Sound Hearing. Louise did very thorough hearing tests for both of us, and explained the results in detail. We discussed the most suitable hearing aids, which she then fitted and adjusted until we were completely comfortable with them. All appointments were home visits which are very convenient, and she was very punctual. It has been a very successful experience.

I first made contact with Sound Hearing, albeit rather nervously, through an internet ad. Well, I needn’t have worried! They were totally professional from the start. Louise visited very soon after calling - she gave me expert advice, being both very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She answered all my questions and gave me great confidence in her ability to supply me with aids that would suit me best, even letting me sample a couple of makes before deciding. The follow up care too has been excellent with somebody always on hand should you need them.

My Mum has been a customer of Sound Hearing for three years and we could not ask for a better service: Louise is very professional, knowledgeable, she always gives the best advice and she is very easy to contact. Sound Hearing is an impressive company you can rely on, we highly recommend it.

Matt was absolutely professional and caring in the handling of the hearing test when he called at my home. Having previously had a test at a high street optician/hearing branch and been advised that I needed aids costing £3,800 I was surprised to learn from Matt Oldfield of Soundhearing that he would have charged just over £2000 for the same product and service. Imagine my surprise when after his conducting the hearing test to learn that the hearing diagnosis was not as bad as suggested by the high street shop chain, and that before providing any recommendation he suggested consulting a GP for a potential medical solution first! He could so easily have taken over £2000 and I would have been happy and none the wiser! As it was when I asked what we owed for the visit, hearing test, 80 mile round trip he said there was no charge!! I can't recommend this company highly enough - reliable - trustworthy and economically the best.

Met Louise Macbride of Sound Hearing through our insurance company having been with a large high street brand hearing aid supplier for many years and spent a small fortune. Louise was attentive, informative and very knowledgeable? We just wish we had met her before we originally bought the hearing aids. She has helped us so much and recommend her to anyone thinking of purchasing hearing aids as she’s independent and honest, and has taken us through everything patiently and simply. A true professional and there is so much to it !! Talk to her before you talk to anyone else but of course speak to others.

When my hearing aids went wrong, and the Audiology I was seeing. I got with another company being Sound Hearing who arrange for Louise Mac Bride to visit me at my house. She took soundings of how much my hearing was gone, and also sent me a diagram showing the lost. She advised me about my inner ear hearing aids, that I'm please with and happy to stay with her.

I visited soundhearing.org after reading that they offered independent, good value and excellent service, better than other hearing aid suppliers. My hearing loss required me to have the most up-to-date aids, and Sound Hearing audiologist was both informative and patient at all times. I was allowed leeway in my trial period length, and was provided with prompt, reliable service throughout.

My experience with Sound Hearing Itd was extremely positive and I have no reservations in recommending them. I was seen by an experienced and helpful audiologist who came to my home .She explained and advised on the pros and cons of different hearing aids and has also been available to answer queries as and when they arise. I have had no problem with the hearing aids and I continue to be very pleased with them and glad I made the move from NHS aids to these.

From Louise MacBride’s first visit, I knew I was in good hands.
I was carefully told how my hearing would be assessed, how recommendations would be made and assured that no payment would be required until I had had the chance to try out the aids for myself.
I was impressed by the equipment used and the explanations given in the assessment of my hearing loss. A suitable set of aids was prescribed and fitted. On subsequent visits adjustments were made and I always felt I was given every opportunity to discuss my experience.
I have already recommended Ms MacBride and will continue to do so.

A Sound hearing audiologist visited to help with purchasing hearing aids for my mother. They were very professional, knowledgable and understanding. They helped my mum through a hearing test and then explained the findings in a way that was understandable. They outlined suitable technologies and provided us with a number of options. Once we had decided, the audiologist who initially visited came to; fit, setup the hearing aids and explain how to get the best from them. The audiologist made what could have been a difficult experience in to a positive one.
