Even after AustPost addressed the silly excuse of why they and StarTrack were the only couriers not to deliver to our door, after months of complaints, I received another attempted delivery notification today, when no attempt was made.
They did deliver for a while, after having a representative call into our place and call BS on the reason their drivers had not been delivering, but it looks like they have reverted back to the old practice of driving straight to the Post Office.
I really don't know why anybody in business would risk their reputations by using StarTrack and paying for a delivery service which clearly is not provided (at least constantly in our case). A courier/delivery service that doesn't even attempt to deliver, but said it attempted to deliver, is a fraud.
I have heard similar complaints, after being required to travel to collect items which were meant to be delivered, at the Post Office.
Wish there were negative ratings.

StarTrack Fails Again: Worst Courier Service Ever!
Absolutely useless, incompetent courier service. If I could give negative stars, I would. Had an important package scheduled for delivery, and as usual, they completely botched it. I was home the entire time, waiting right by the door. No knock, no doorbell – just a notification saying they "attempted" delivery, which is an outright lie. This isn’t the first time either; this is the second time in a matter of weeks. They just sent it straight to the post office, which is a major hassle and not exactly close by.
StarTrack clearly doesn’t care if their customers have transportation issues or physical limitations – they can’t even be bothered to do their job properly. BUSINESSES, PLEASE STOP USING STARTRACK! They clearly don’t understand the basics of a delivery service: you had one job, and you failed again and again.
Auspost vs Startrack
My non-express package from auspost got on board for delivery and arrived 11 am while my startrack parcel from the same location still sitting on the depot next door to my house. They don't let me go in and collect it and said if I want to collect they can send the parcel back to the origin point (3 hours away) and I can drive there to collect I mean what kind of logic is that?
It's medication too, always late for delivery and when delivery is done on time, they don't attempt to deliver, just drop off a card, so you have to wait all day to collect from the local post office. Can you please fix your logistic system so locals can actually collect their parcel if it's urgent so we don't have to either wait all day or next day.
At the moment, my parcel has been sitting next door to me all day today and expectancy for tomorrow afternoon. How can we fix that so I can get my medication at a good time?

It never ceases to amaze me how a parcel can travel 15000kms from Europe to Australia and clear customs in 2 days, yet StarTrack can take up to a week to get something from Brisbane or Sydney to Adelaide...by air! Sometimes they're good, but I'm often left disappointed. Their sorting facility processing times are woeful. Had a temperature sensitive parcel sit in Brisbane for 2 days this week and now another parcel arrive in Adelaide early this morning, but of course it can't be delivered until next week. The 'expected delivery' dates are a frustratingly optimistic.

What an absolute waste of time this useless organisation is ... No tracking information , they don't deliver to your door , they never leave a card , just a text message saying that your parcel has been left at the post office .. Aust post tracking is the only necessary tracking ... Absolutely useless organisation....

Terrible, late, poor customer service, bad condition, there is not a single good element of Startrack they are the most incompetent, impossible, low grade in an industry with a lower than normal reputation.

Late again
I ordered a parcel online. It said it would be delivered on either 3/10 or 4/10 (today). The StarTrack tracking said expected delivery date to be the 3/10. The package sat in Melbourne until 4/10 and finally arrived in Brisbane at midday.
StarTrack are now saying that it will not get delivered until next Wednesday the 9/10, 5 days late. I needed this package to finish a unit assessment which is ironically due on Wednesday, guess I won’t be passing that assessment now, $5000 down the drain which I will now have to pay again to redo the subject as the post didn’t arrive is not an acceptable reason for an extension. And the worst part is, there is no way of collecting the package from StarTrack directly when they can’t be bothered to do their one job, deliver packages.
Thanks heaps StarTrack. Useless as always.

I want to be Star track driver.Ah yes...getting loaded up and off we go...Id better make sure that I reach my delivery destination between 8.30 and 9.30 am on a weekday,Im sure no one will be at home ,I might leave a Sorry,missed you card or maybe not ..see how Im feeling.I do have the one issue of the unemployed man who could be home,but heck he aint got no money to buy anything and more likely he is still asleep anyway...just hope he aint feelin frisky that mornin.Anyway I will return to the depot with the truck still full and get a good pat on the back from the supervisor....he will quip ' Let those clowns come here and pick their stuff up,we have done our part' Ah yes ..I have a great job.

I called in today to have a parcel re-delivered. After waiting 10min for a staff, i finally spoke to someone - only to be advised that the correct tracking number is not showing on their system and transferred me again to a different department waiting on hold for over 30min.
Finally got through and was advised it was the same department as the previous staff. It turns out that James the previous staff did not want to continue the conversation and decided to transfer me to the same department for another staff to help instead. Appalling service.

It is not so much the delays or the actual hardship of having things lost in transit, which is already an issue since we are talking about essential medication, but it is the bluntness of the people, that regardless of the situation are always able to turn it around and never take responsability for their failures, flaws and disservice. If I could, I would train a pigeon instead of paying any money to these bloodsucker failure of a service. Wanna lose your parcel? your sh** and your money? please, book with StarTrack, you won't be disappointed

Absolutely useless! Critical medication needed and assured next day delivery but they just don’t care and always gets here late. Not good enough and no respect or consideration for the customer in need of life and death medicine. Very sad and absolutely pathetic of such a big company.

Delivery driver refused to drive into the street and carry the items to be delivered.
Poor experience. Delivery driver cited narrow street (which is absolutely not the case) and asked us to drive to another street to pick up the item ourself.

Having a Vent on StarTrack.
delivery. Today I was waiting for a package that didn’t come. So I called StarTrack, the reason I didn’t get it, was I need to put on the instructions to press the intercom.
Seriously how bloody stupid. How else would you know that a delivery person has your package downstairs. I really don’t like Stupid people.

useless service, asking you to stay all day and refusing to provide predelivery/pickup notice or pick up unattended items. with all the technology available nowadays, they are still back in the 70s.
Violent Driver
A extremely violent pickup driver come to pick-up a return parcel. He snatched off my hands the form he was supposed to sign as proof of pick-up and signed it reluctantly. He was loud and extremely aggressive and screamed at me saying that he does not need a copy, forcibly pulling the parcel off my hands and left with my words in my mouth.

Star Track by far is the worst courier services that is in Australia. Unreliable and dishonest delivery teams and worst customer service team on site who merely reading off prewritten phone scripts. No wonder the recording requests customers to be polite to their below average untrained customer service mascots. Cannot blame them but the management team.
I was made to understand that home deliveries are more expansive than commercial deliveries. The drivers comes to your door step without the parcel and leaves a missed delivery card and takes off. They don’t knock on the door, ring the door bell nor leave the parcel at the door step. This happens when the residents are at home waiting for more than 3 days for the goods to arrive after multiple phone follow ups.
The customer service teams can’t trace the drivers, cannot contact the drivers or their port or escalate the matter to their team leaders who at meetings 24x7. Appalling. These uncivilised driver thieves are working for agents who cannot the contacted and then the goods are taken to the depots and the Customer service teams cannot reveal the details of the deport to collect the goods. What a national service that is a nightmare and misleading…..only attempting to steal money from the poor customers. Star Track please get your act right!!!
