My experience of Streambank as been a positive one. I like the monthly option for interest that they offer, and also their competitive interest rate, and setting everything up online went as it should.

Could have made opening the account totally idiot proof by pointing out that you have a proper bank account with them - unlike an account held with a B/Soc when transferring the opening funds. But friendly staff on the end of the phone to help out

Be very carefull
Be very carefull, i opened one year bond on 6/10/23 at 6.10% wouldnt give me account detail so could pay money in, details turn up today so i can pay money in but they have secretly cut the rate to 5.90 % but made no attempt to honor the rate i signed up for, wont be getting my money thats for sure

No problems. I opened a one year fixed rate bond at a great rate and sent 3 lots of deposits by faster payments. All landed quickly and safely.
