Really easy account to use and I love that my money is held in physical gold. The app is simple, the card works like normal and the whole thing feels much more transparent. Really happy so far!

Live a golden life with Tallymoney
I have been a Tallymoney customer now for over two years and have watched the gold price keep rising and protecting my purchasing power. I have primarily used my account to save up an emergency fund, I chose to do this in a gold backed account because inflation has been persistent and interest rates have not been high enough to mitigate the fiat currency debasement we are experiencing.
I regularly put some savings aside in my Tallymoney account and know that I can use my Mastercard for unplanned expenses if the need arises. Live a golden life with Tallymoney.

Account setup was straightforward
Account setup was straightforward and my account was active very quickly. Customer support even gave me an introductory discount on my activation fee, which was a nice touch. I transferred funds from my main bank account and within an hour the money was in my Tally account. Very impressed! Thank you, Tally

I’ve read your negative reviews and seen some pretty ridiculous reviews including one that hadn’t even joined tally yet.
So I’m making no pretences, I’m genuinely considering joining because I can’t withdraw even a grand from my own bank without being interrogated. I’ve been with bank of Scotland since 1978 never once defaulted.
So here a five star review from myself based on the good stuff I’ve read so far. What I like is a plain English speaking operator on the phone to explain how easy it is or isn’t to withdraw large sums of cash £3k to £20k without getting sherlock Holmes’s on my case?

It was easy to signup, but.
It was easy to signup, just needed a passport. However, in order to fully access the app, I was required to pay a £9 fee. Could I not just open the account without a fee and not receive a Tally card so that I could use the account as a gold savings vehicle and apply for a card at a later date if required? I would much prefer to navigate the app, do my due diligence on this system and then decide what to do without a fee? I do like the idea of the gold savings account as it will almost certainly keep your money in line with inflation. I also noted that there was capital gains tax on your gold holdings, if you exceeded the capital gains limit on cashing out. You do not currently pay capital gains if you buy and hold UK sovereign gold coins denominated in sterling. Something to think about. I would be happy to pay the storage fee monthly as you would have to do that anyway if you purchased and stored gold in the UK or Switzerland for that matter. I’m in thinking mode still with this. Not saying it’s bad, but not saying it’s good either for now.

The £9 account activation fee covers the setup and your TallyMoney Debit Mastercard. When you consider the value and long-term performance of gold, it’s a pretty modest amount, especially as it gives you access to save, spend, and send instantly.
We also offer a 14-day cooling-off period, so if you decide Tally’s not for you, you can close your account within the first two weeks and get your activation fee refunded - no hard feelings, no hidden catches.
We also run regular promotions, so make sure you’re opted in to marketing comms or drop our friendly support team a quick message, they’ll happily point you in the right direction.
Sovereign coins can be a decent option, but keep in mind they often come with higher storage costs and dealer fees when selling. With Tally, everything’s smooth and instant, no waiting around for a sale to go through. 💛

We’ve got nothing to hide, there really aren’t many fees at all! Unlike some competitors or gold dealers that bury them in legal docs, we prefer plain English and honesty. 💛

Rip off
This seems to be a app for tally money to take money of you. I transferred £100 in to my tally lost £5 doing so then was going to transfer £95 left into my safe account and it wanted £9.49 to do so . Plus I paid £9 to set it up ffs what a rip off

Better than paper.
Once I joined everything was simple. I think saving and spending in gold is so much better than worthless paper money, which keeps depreciating. I am recommending this to every one I know.

Easy to set the Tally account up
Easy to set the Tally account up, got payment card with a week. Made a deposit and it was an easy process and funds received into my account prity quickly with no issues. I open the Tally account appropriately a month ago, I've made more profit within this period then I have ever made in my bank accounts for the past 20years.

Tally Money
I was a bit scared about trusting my finances to Tally Money but I found the cash many to do what it says on the can and the application was simple and quick. I received the Bank card quickly.
I only invested a small amount at first but I have already seen excellent results and using the app is just the same as a normal bank. The lack of government access important in these days of increasing interference

I enquired about getting tally money…
I enquired about getting tally money account but the bad reviews are all generated at the customer service and delays in transfers which puts me off. Again all the questions about fraud when the government is the fraud that we are trying to escape from. So why can't we open private accounts in our private names. That would be very useful and I would definitely sign up
