Stress-free life insurance application
I have a rare medical condition which makes seeking life insurance particularly difficult - I would get rejected on the spot when applying alone. The Insurance Surgery has a team of knowledgable staff who can guide you through the process, which lifted the stress. They are very transparent too in terms of managing your expectations on the kind of quotes you can expect to be offered. Neil Cameron was my advisor and he was great - he helped me every step of the way. I now have a policy in place and I could not have got it without Neil’s help.

Tom was extremely helpful, he kept me updated throughout and was able to ask all the right questions to ensure I got the insurance that was right for me. Without his help, I may have struggled to get insurance or at least the right quote.

Excellent advice and guidance from Sam C
I contacted The Insurance Surgery looking for life insurance and was fortunate to speak with Sam C (Sam Cox).
At 67 and having recently married, I wanted to make sure my wife would have some financial security should anything happen to me. My circumstances are also slightly unusual as my wife lives in Thailand and I may spend considerable time there, so I had a number of questions and concerns about whether a UK life insurance policy would provide the protection I wanted.
Sam was excellent throughout. He took the time to understand my circumstances, explained the different levels of cover and costs clearly, and never made me feel under any pressure to take more expensive cover than I was comfortable with.
He also explained the index-linking options and, importantly for me, how the policy could be placed in trust with my wife as the beneficiary.
I came away from the conversation feeling considerably better informed and confident about the decisions I was making.
Professional, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sam C and The Insurance Surgery.
Five stars from me.

Excellent Service

Fantastic service from Neil
Neil is fantastic, I'd recommend the Insurance Surgery and specifically him any day of the week. I have a high BMI so I know getting life insurance can be a challenge, but Neil talked me through the options and found me the right fit for what I needed. I am also neurodiverse so sometimes understanding questions can be a little tricky and I struggle on the phone, but he is patient, thorough, friendly and approachable, an actual person trying to help you rather than reading off a script. Now I have complete peace of mind that my mortgage will be paid and my loved ones looked after when my time comes, thanks Neil!

Fantastic service
Applying for life insurance as a transgender person can be complicated and daunting to say the least, but I had a great experience with The Insurance Surgery. Stephen Gavrovski was very helpful in guiding me through the application process and was very understanding of my situation. He went above and beyond to make sure my application was assessed fairly and chased up the underwriter where he believed a mistake had been made that would affect my application. The mistake was corrected thanks to his intervention, and I was able to get the cover I needed. Thanks again Stephen!
