Do not work for this joke of a company.
Carried out work on a property for this company in march. It’s now September and I’m still trying to get my invoice paid.
Staff are very rude and unprofessional, Charlotte, who is the building manager ignores all emails and phone calls, constant excuses that they are in meetings or anything to not talk to you.
Accounts make false promises that the invoice will be paid, I’m having to ring them everyday and I’m sick of it. Will be passing onto a debt agency.

I have just had a telephone conversation with Charlene in credit control on an ongoing headache. She not only dealt with the problem promptly and efficiently she also provided me with reassuring information.

They have routinely overcharged me, charged me for things that don't exist (you can't clean a carpet that isn't there) and carried out Major Works without issuing a Section 20.
They've threatened me with legal action every single year and funnily enough, have never gone through with it. They are bullies and charlatans.
This is a rebrand of the former company, so this is the second time I've written a review about their frankly gang-like behaviour. I can't imagine why they wanted to rebrand when their Google Reviews were all so positive... oh, wait.
How this company is allowed to trade is beyond me.

Nothing has changed. In fact, if anything they've managed to get worse. They are now routinely gaslighting me, telling me they've addressed my concerns without even mentioning the subject. I'm not sure if they are delusional or just pathological liars, but it must be one of the two.
The major works were indeed carried out without a Section 20 and I was given the excuse that the works were extremely urgent. In the same email there is evidence that the person suffering the leaks had to report the issue 6 (SIX) times.
With nowhere else to go, they have now resorted to their bullying tactics by threatening legal action once more. I am genuinely considering selling my property to get away from them.

After using various property management companies in my time, I can honestly say that The Fountayne Group is next level!
My dedicated property managers, Chloe and Charlotte have worked with excellent customer service, knowledge and dedication. They have changed how I look at property management.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a friendly property management company, who genuinely care.

Things are looking up
Before the latest team change I had little faith in Fountayne and truly some awful experiences with them. But since Chloe has taken on our building, it’s really changed my opinion - she has be excellent, dealing efficiently and effectively with a very difficult to manage council. Responsive and persistent in getting issues fixed, I’ve been really impressed so far and it’s a breath of fresh air.

Great performance with fresh new team
Communication with Fountayne as well as performance was very poor until January 2023, with team members not responding to phone calls, emails and requests.
However, since there has been a change to the team they have managed my property very efficiently and at such a quick pace. Chloe has been amazing, responsive to my requests and queries, professional and very thorough. Thank you Chloe, keep up the great work :)

'Change The Name Do The Same!'
'Change The Name - Do The Same'. Do not be taken in by this company. They have 'rebranded' from being called Fountayne Managing and two other companies which have been expelled from The Property Redress Scheme, their own regulator after two separate complaints against them both upheld. Check the list of expelled members from the PRS on line. The only way they can trade and join either the PRS or ARMA is if they comply with the directions of the PRS which they have not. Both bodies and trading standards are aware. The 5* reviews are clearly false!! We had 6 months of utterly shocking treatment at the hands of the employees of this company many of whom have left or been sacked, but many remain looking at 'our team'. Some of their own testimonials should be read with a vomit bag nearby if you have been unlucky enough to have suffered the stress and anxiety they create purporting to 'manage' your building. One of their previous employees blew the whistle on them as to their terrible treatment of leaseholders and tenants. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Excellent support received by Hazel during a catastrophic experience at my flat
I very rarely leave a review but on this occasion I want to give a particularly special mention to Hazel Bozkuna at The Fountayne Group. Hazel has worked relentlessly to help me get a water leak repaired which was damaging my flat from a flat above and I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her support. She spent hours making calls, consulting other property managers and sending emails on my behalf to sort out the problem, and she kept me updated me on a regular basis. She totally put me at ease in what has been a very stressful time. I can’t thank her for her support enough. Hazel is reliable, conscientious, considerate and works in a conscionable manner. I’m beyond grateful for her support and would highly recommend her to manage your property; you will need someone like her in your corner should you experience a catastrophe like what I experienced!
