The Walton Collection reproduces rare paintings, posters, prints, newspapers, maps, and memorabilia of Irish historical and revolutionary interest, and frames them beautifully. These include a superb painting of Michael Collins by Leo Whelan in 1922 (the only painting Michael Collins sat for in Dublin and exclusive to The Walton Collection), many reproductions of original posters from the days and weeks following 1916 Easter Rising, including many the 1916 leaders, rare copies of the 1916 Proclamation of the Republic, most of the newspapers in the days following the Rising ( including The Irish Times, Irish Independent, The Dublin Evening Mail & The Evening Herald), Mordens Map of the Kingdom Ireland from 1695, and Rocques Maps of Dublin City and County from 1756-60, and Bartlett's magnificent 1841 prints of the Scenery and Antiquities of Ireland.

Many thanks for your very kind words Patrick and we're delighted you are happy with your purchases. I look forward to talking with you again...
I was looking for a gift for my husband's birthday and in my research I came across The Walton Collection.
I wanted to be sure I pick the right thing so I rang the contact number on the webpage. I had the most delightful long chat with David, a true gentleman. Not only did I identify the best gifts for my hubby, I also learned a lot.
The delivery was super fast. Both my purchases were well packed to prevent any damage. The Proclamation came with a little info pack about it's history, which is very interesting and informative to read. Best of all my husband was delighted with the gifts.
I recommend the Walton Collection very warmly to anyone looking for a unique gift that comes with great service.

This company has an excellent website and the advice and support from David Walton was exceptional and very professional. I was sending an antique map to a relative in Maine USA. David arranged the packaging and despatch of the item and tracked the package with the courier and kept me informed at all stages.I highly recommend this company.
