I ordered a large, heavy, fragile item which came from Spain. I was worried because of the reviews here but TNT/FedEx delivered it with such care, no signs of damage, not even a dent on the box, absolutely fantastic. So then I thought, maybe you mainly only hear about the bad experiences here? The updates from Tallaght on the tracking were accurate and the delivery man called in the morning to make sure I was home. He used a pallet truck to bring it up my driveway, then helped me carry it inside. It was 1 day beyond the estimate but this didn't bother me since the item was so well looked after.
I never had a worse experience with an EU delivery
I never had a worse experience or waiting time with another delivery company, especially for an EU order.
Shipment was ping-ponged between the same three countries for 30 days. After I wrote them an email and told them that they are driving the shipment in circles, they rerouted it to Ireland. The next update was package is at the local depot. Then out for delivery.
Then the driver falsely marked the order as "delivery attempted" (I work at the receiving address and I was at the home with my phone in front of me the whole day, refreshing the tracking link and no one called or rang the door).
I spoke with their support and they apologized for the driver's actions, rescheduled for the next day, and said they sent an email to the depot to speak with the driver so the next delivery attempt actually happens.
That scheduled delivery was canceled by them the very next morning and then the package was marked as damaged.
I would like not to think how the timing of this is connected to my complaint and them having a word with the driver doing false delivery attempts.
The package was sent as hazardous goods, so I wouldn't expect this to get damaged ever.
For the next 7 days, there were no updates.
I again spoke with their support and they said I should contact the seller for a refund as the package is damaged, and TNT will send the package back or destroy it, according to the seller's instructions.
Seeing TNT Ireland Trustpilot reviews are 1.3/5 and reading them, I see these experiences are standard with them.

I keep getting threatening letters in the post for an invoice I have already paid (the moment I received it)
Despite numerous different phone calls, emails from both FedEx and TNT, I still continue to get letters about this invoice. I even offered to just pay it twice to stop being contacted. Worst service I’ve ever experienced avoid at all costs

This is the biggest scam of a company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. I started receiving 'account statements' from them about a year ago, with no details of why I supposedly owed them €142, and no clear instructions on payment. I tried to call the customer service number on the bottom of the page but never got a response, so I left it. When I kept receiving these 'statements', I continued to try to contact them by phone and email. Eventually someone sent me an email back with my 'file', which showed the name of a company I had ordered from (the item was delivered to me in June, with no mention of the customs chare until months later). At that point, I started asking how I was meant to pay, as I recognised it as a legitimate customs charge. I've never had an account with them and the only details I could see were in small print at the footer of the letter, some IBAN details, but no indication of whether this was where I was meant to pay. I still couldn't get an answer on the phone so tried emailing repeatedly, asking how to pay- no response. I last tried in late September; I finally reached someone on the phone, who told me she couldn't help but who gave me a bunch of phone numbers (none of which work), and email addresses. I emailed and got a response days later asking for my account number. I clarified I didn't have an account but attached a photo of one of the statements I'd been receiving (they came constantly). No response. Last week I got a letter from a debt collector giving me 7 days to pay and threatening legal action if I didn't. They had also added a late fee of over €40, and interest was accruing daily. Again I contacted TNT on every email/number I had for them. The emails are now bouncing back. Got through on one phone number to someone who again said they couldn't help me or put me in touch with someone who could. None of the other phone numbers I'd been given even ring, and she was offering me the same ones. To say I'm disgusted by this is an understatement. This company needs to be shut down. Absolute scum. I will contact the original vendor and advise them of the issue in the hopes they will use a different courier going forward. All I can advise people is to avoid this company.

This company is absolutely disgraceful. Like many others, I have been receiving countless letters to my home this year telling me to pay different amounts and threatening legal action against me. Initially, I paid the first amount simply to stop the letters coming, but this did not work - 9 months later and they're still saying I didn't pay.
A few months ago, I started to receive more letters saying I owed more money for something that I did not even purchase. I have never even set up a FedEx account! Countless unanswered calls & emails later.... I did receive one vague reply with details of what I 'supposedly' purchased .... the address on the document was fake and the postcode provided didn't even exist in Ireland!! Complete scam - avoid!!

Maybe someone knows how to contact tnt credit control, because it is impossible to contact their number +35318067888. Try not to order anything through them in the future. What an irresponsible company, and everything is complicated. I don't know what to do, all the numbers given don't work or others can't help or something like that. Plus, I myself don't understand what is the nonsense of TNT/FedEx if they don't see anything, but they send me letters, I paid once, they sent me that I didn't pay and I sent them again, they write again. What is the company that I can't connect????
An Update Review since my last one....Shocking!
Since my first review about TNT and how they lost my first delivery, I have managed to get a replacement order sent out to me, now, we would all expect that TNT would be all over this one and that they would ensure to delivery this one as a matter of urgency, nah, not TNT. The replacement item was shipped out from Poland and arrived in Tallaght Depot in Dublin in a matter of days, that was surprising to me, the main trouble started when they couldnt be arsed delivering the item on the tuesday when they were suppose to, no, instead the package was handed over to a "third party courier", then when i rang to enquire about this, they said nope, the package wont be delivered on the tuesday, instead it'll be thursday, so I made myself available on the thursday, I noticed the package status was showing that the item as in a TNT depot, when I rang I was told it was being delivered and would be out to me in the PM, then, less than 30 mins after that call I recieved an email from TNT to say no, the package was in customs and required clearance, even though it came from within the EU!?
So i rang back AGAIN, I was told this was an error on their behalf and to disregard this email, then I was told the package was RETURNED back to the Dublin depot and it wouldnt be delivered today (Thursday), instead it "might" be delivered tomorrw (Friday).
What kind of a s**t show is being run by TNT?
Avoid this company at all costs, do not put your customers through this torture if shipping package through the TNT network. Id rather pay extra to ensure that a competent courier company delivers my package.

Abasolute disgrace of a company do not use these even if they are the only courier available. You'd be better off delivering it yourself as thos company obviously can't handle the task of doing so. I have a parcel that was meant to be delivered to me I paid the customs charges so it is obviously in the country but it never got delivered and when I queried it with there customer service it took days to get a reply and then I was passed from pillar to post and now they have given me a credit note for the customs charges I paid them which is absolutely no use as I won't ever be using them and I'll be requesting off anyone I buy from to do the same as they are a complete joke of a company

I have contacted your company today on 018067888 and was put on hold for 1hr and 42 mins but nobody could help me ,your customer service team could not help me and kept trying to connect me to the invoice help line but to no avail .. I have rang your company 19 times in the past month and sent 16 emails to no avail ... This is appalling customer care .. I've even had to take time off of work to try and contact your company .. this has caused me great distress and annoyance.. please read further below .I have received 3 letters in the post from FedEx Express .
These letters state I owe money , each letter gives a different amount ?
firstly what do I owe this money for ?
secondly why is the amounts different in each letter ?
third , i never opened an account with fedex and have no dealings with this company .
For any order I have placed with any company i have paid all chargers before I received any product .

Absolutely awful service (TNT deliver for FedEx in Ireland) FedEx should be ashamed of this service. No updates, packages never delivered on time. It’s Russian roulette with these guys in terms of you receive a package or not - no way to even contact. Extremely frustrating! AVOID both TNT and FedEx if you are shipping to Ireland as they are the one company.
Very poor service, avoid if you can
Yet another poor service with TNT. Was meant to receive package on Wednesday, but it did not arrive, when checked tracking showed that they tried to deliver on Tuesday, but no one home. No note left. Tried to ring customer service on the phone number provided by place it was sent from. No signal. Went to TNT website and only contact form, no phone number. Filled it out on Wednesday, but no reply. Finally managed to find some phone number online. Rang them on Thursday and organized re-delivery for Friday. Package did not arrive on Friday. Rang them again, was told that address on the package is wrong... corrected the address and was told that it will be delivered on Monday, because they do not deliver on the weekends... TNT is sitting on this package for a week and best thing is that their depot is 10min drive from my house. Poor customer service, poor service in general. Avoid

No Customer service. Calls and emails unanswered. Overpaid an invoice twice. Despite providing proof of overpayment, company send generic response to say that no overpayment received. Dozens of attempted calls and emails later and nobody can ring me back or deal with my query. This is going on 2 months now and still going around in circles. Now received letter saying they will freeze my account . This is not the first occasion I have had the misfortune of having to try resolve an issue with TNT and the previous occasions were painful too. Will be taking my account elsewhere..... Yet another very poor experience with a courier here. Delivery attempted to God knows where and their phone number permanently shut down. By now I have no idea where my parcel is who to contact and if I'll ever see it.

My Company sent Christmas packages to customers this year through TNT from the UK. These were sent on 13/12/21. These did not arrive before Christmas. I was told there was a backlog in customs
In January " some " deliveries were made and two were held in customs. i was told they could not control this issue. On January 27th they were released by customs. One of the two was delivered to Monaghan. The other that was to be deliver within 20 k of the Tallaght depot is still not delivered. i call every second day. On the 16 of February they mentioned customs and I said I am looking at the tracking information. They then said " oh I don't know it may be a back log and we have hired extra staff". i get a lot of shipments. TNT are consistently the worst. The support network is non existent and the billing is criminal. There is no formula for calculating duty. Late last year they charged me duty of £800 and goods that were valued less than that. i have written, called and written again and to have received no feedback. Boycott TNT DHL and Fedex. Since they became the same company they are Dreadful.
Ordering from the UK
I ordered a bike from the UK. It took I think eighteen days but it was delivered to my door.
It was a frustrating process, a struggle all the way to find out what was happening, how much customs duties was due and even when I found that out who and how do I pay? I did get an invoice emailed me, last Thursday letting me know that I could ring this number to pay the custom duties. I rang...I rang...I rang again and no surprise nobody answered, Story of my Ten Days with Tnt and a bike arriving daily usually at 6.30 a.m. in Tallaght.
I was actually surprised when the bike turned up on Monday... Apropos online buying this has been the worst I have experienced and all because Tnt Ireland were involved...Bizarre

I created a pickup request on 13/01/2022, was charged 136.55 euros. I cancelled the shipment on the phone the very same day.
consignment and Booking Number available if requested by TNT,i still have the confirmation email.
Since then, I must have called their customer service at least 10 times and while people were very nice on the phone, no-one was able to process my refund or tell me what else I could do. iI contacted the account department, no reply, I contacted the claim department, no reply, I must have sent 5 or 6 emails and created half a dozen of tickets, no reply whatsoever, it is a like trying to talk to a brick wall.
TNT are thieves, they simply robbed me of my money , plain and simple, and I will be seeking legal help.
Avoid them at any cost !
