My tyres never arrived and was charged a £25 “restocking penalty” for the privilege of a refund.

Just avoid.

Excellent price, unbeatable, and tyres delivered the next morning after ordering (UK). Courier was a pleasant chap too. Very happy - would recommend

On a positive the tyres arrived quickly and were reasonably priced.
The downsides-
1/ I ordered whitewall tyres (or at least that’s what the website implied with the images and reviews. Classic, but non whitewall tyres were delivered. Unfortunately I was up against it timewise so had to get them to be fitted by the garage anyway.
2/ bizarrely, the chosen fitters had apparently stopped working with tyreleader about 5 years ago. Seeing as the tyres had already been sent to them, I asked them to fit them anyway. The price for fitting in the website was £12 per tyre (presumably plus vat) but the garages price was £20 plus ‘sundries’ plus VAT. All in £40 per tyre!!
So no, I would not recommend this website unless you already have a trusted fitter lined up.

The price was great but communication not so great. The tyre tracking info not provided and the delivery man just left it on the front porch without a signature.

Very good service and value for money spend.

Everything started well, with the tyre despatched quickly. But, after a missed delivery, I was unable to rearrange it due to the tracking number being untraceable.

This is in spite of emailing both Tyreleader, where I received dismissive Ai generated responses, and the courier company. We exchanged eight emails, and they attempted to do nothing to fix it. As after all, it’s impossible to get a parcel re-delivered when it doesn’t in the couriers system via the tracking number.

Essentially, the email assistance was very unhelpful throughout. With each party blaming the other.

Not a good experience at all. Left me in a bind without the tyre that I needed. Do yourself a favour, pay more elsewhere. Which is what I’ve had to do to get a tyre at the second attempt.

Ordered tyres on 22/6 had an email from DX with a tracking number advising the tyres had been scanned in at there depot. Now 29/6 and still no update from DX. Have sent several emails to both Tyreleader and DX. I have been advised that DX need to confirm to Tyreleader that the goods have gone missing before they look at issuing a refund. Be warned if you are desperate or need your tyres quickly, if I had realised this I would have used and alternative company. Absolute rubbish customer service, stuck in the middle still awaiting my tyres and money already taken from my account. Can’t gat a definite answer as to when this will be resolved so can’t even source an alternative.

UPDATE
The courier has confirmed the tyres have gone missing, Tyreleader are now telling me I can have a refund once DX have issued them with a credit note. I have received nothing yet and been advised they will review it again on the 6/7. Over a week now and they still have my money and no tyres 😡 legally I am the consumer and should not be waiting for DX to issue a credit note to Tyreleader, I should have been immediately reimbursed as soon as DX confirmed the tyres were missing.

Ordering and payment was simple, delivery was exact and prompt. All items great value !

Delivery, a bit slow, but thats the 3rd party courier not tyreleader.
Never had one issue at all, used a number of times now, and will keep going back,

The quick delivery and the tyres were in good condition when delivered. There was no errors in my specification.
