booked taxi with fare stated up to 14 70. the charge on my account was 17.60 which I was prepared to accept but had another charge of 6.40 pounds with no explanation be careful what you eventually are charged

Booked taxi previous afternoon, never showed at allotted time, phoned told busy but would do best to get us a taxi, allowed 10 minutes to show but then had to make alternate arrangements to make a connection.
No point in booking, absolutely useless, need to give zero stars if were able as not even worth 1 star.

Booked a taxi at 10am yesterday morning for an 11:15pm pick up, over 13 hours notice. The taxi never arrived and when I rang to ask I was told there would be a 30 to 40 minute delay because they were 'very busy' This is not the first bad experience we have has with V Cars but I have deleted the app and they will not be getting my custom ever again.

Used V cars last week hotel booked it for me and they could not give an arrival time but to be fair turned up in 15 min charged me 25 .60 to destination which is very over priced did the same journey rest of week with Uber and varied from 7to 16. Pounds cheaper Uber hard to beat used them for the next four days ery disappointed with v cars

Booked a taxi for 6:15pm to get to a wedding for 7 (considering a 30m drive and traffic). Phone call at 6:25pm saying no cars available and nothing they can do….what was the point in booking? Really horrific and had to quickly change plans and drive so really ruined the plans for the night.
Absolutely 0 point in booking ahead if they’re just gonna do this

This company keeps using my address to pick up clients without my permission. I asked them 3 times to remove my address from their service as someone else on my street is using my address without my permission. They don't care. They picked up some random stranger outside my house today called to my house. Like it's normal behaviour to them.

Disgusting service, drove off from us when the driver heard the price. Do not use this service. Rang up and they did not offer any help. In disbelief that they drove off, driver deserves to lose his job! Can't believe it

Taxi arrived 10 mins late so lucky I ordered it earlier than required as expected this to happen.
10.70 on meter before we even pulled away resulting in a £37.50 trip cost .
Same journey home with different company £20. Terrible and expensive service this company used to be my go to for years now I know why I stopped using them .

Just got a taxi through v cars. Driver turned up and said I had to pay 5 pounds extra because of luggage.

Car stank of smoke.

Won't be using again... Stick to Uber.

I had a taxi booked for 11pm I rang to enquire where it was and was told they couldn’t find the venue so went . I asked for another taxi but was told that there weren’t any available . I asked if they were just going to abandon me with no taxi to get me back to my hotel and they repeated they had no taxis available .This was totally unacceptable that they were prepared to leave me with no transport .

Worst experience ever. Booked 2 cabs from a wedding at 11.30pm in advance with the commercial team. No one arrived and an hour later after ringing, 2 people hung up on me and then one lady said they couldn’t resolve it and I should send ‘feedback’ via the website. You left 4 women in the street an hour after the party had finished to fend for themselves after a pre booking and no one came and no one called to let us know.

Prebooked taxi for a hospital appointment the next day. 10 minutes after the time the taxi should have arrived I got a text to say they were running a bit late as it was busy in our area. After a further 10 mins I got a call to say they didn’t have any taxis available. Terrible service. Will never use again and would not recommend

Left us stranded without a taxi when I had pre booked an airport transfer. They said they had no available cars in our area despite booking three weeks in advance. No help offered, no apology, no compensation. My advice is don’t rely on this company. Uber is better

I used V Cars, now Veezu, four times in one day. They were efficient and fast to respond, and one driver, taking me to A&E, was particularly kind and courteous. My only complaint is that I was unable to pay by card - I've been unable to get out recently and was without much cash, so the drivers had to call at ATMs on the way, which I could have done without. Otherwise I found the service good.

I pre-booked a taxi for 7pm to take myself and my partner to a dinner reservation. As the location was slightly outside of V Cars/Veezu operating area, I was asked to pay upfront, which I didn't have a problem with.
I called in the morning to check my taxi was in their system and they confirmed they had the booking.

When it got to 7.10pm, I called the main line to ask about the whereabouts of my taxi as it hadn't shown up yet. An absolutely ridiculous response was provided when they told me, they had low availability of drivers in the area, but they would put me up the priority list. What on earth!? I'd PRE-BOOKED and PRE-PAID for this taxi and apparently they seem to operate like an uber service and only send a driver your way if they are in the area and available. He said that there "might" be a driver available within the next half an hour or so....

I also received no communication from them to say that my taxi was late/wasn't available and only found out because I called them to check.

The most ludicrous way of running a taxi service I've ever come across. The man at the end of the phone didn't seem to comprehend that we were now going to be late for our reservation and had absolutely no way of getting there as it was in a fairly rural location.

If you actually want to be picked up by a taxi that you've booked, don't use this company, whatever you do.

Swindon doesn’t have Uber or any other taxi service outside of VCars, now called Vezuu. Absolute scam company full of scum drivers.

Saturday night at the taxi rank outside the train station I attempted to use a taxi. I got into the car and the driver told me that I needed to pay cash. I didn’t have cash or a wallet as it’s 2023. He advised me that he could take me to a cash point and I declined. He then said I couldn’t use the taxi so I had to get out and ask the next driver.

It took me asking the next 7 cars, who all would only take cash. The company is a joke and most of the drivers are tax dodgers. I would avoid at all costs, but there isn’t any other taxi services. Swindon council need to allow Uber in or mandate taxi drivers use card machines.

Requested a taxi in Bath via the app, quoted a fare of £9.50, when the card was charged the fare was £14.40 for a very short ride.

We pre-booked a taxi using the app to take us to the station two days in advance. The morning of, no car showed up. Having waited a polite 10 minutes past the designated pick-up time, I realised the 'track my car' feature on the app was showing that no taxi had even been allocated to our journey! Tried to phone the company but could not get through. Then I received a text message saying 'It's BUSY in your area. Your TAXI is running a bit behind'. Clearly we were going to miss our coach, so I tried to phone the company again. Eventually somebody picked up who apologised vaguely & said our taxi might be a further 20 minutes 'at best'...! Had no choice but to cancel. My husband somehow managed to get us an uber, who got us there with 1 minute to spare. Totally unacceptable, & I see from these reviews that our experience is not a unique one! Very sad as I have been using V cars (previously Streamline) since 1999! Clearly they are now totally unreliable. People call taxis for emergencies, flights, medical appointments, job interviews etc. Not good enough!!

Appalling company! So unreliable! Currently sitting in heavy traffic and paying to sit in it….because I’ve waited over an hour for this taxi this morning! They lie about pick up times and lie on the phone saying car on the way!!
