11 year old over charged by £4.80
A driver picked up my son (11years old) I gave my son £15 which is more than enough for a 3.6 mile journey.
I received a email to say the job was complete and cost £10.20. So I called my son to see if he had reached the destination.
To my surprise he said he was still in the taxi ?
He said we are nearly there?
So I stayed on the phone until they reached the destination.
At the destination the driver said shall I gave him a discount?
I said just charge him the amount it is supposed to be.
At that point he said £15 is OK?
I asked him how much the fare was he said £16.50, I asked why is it so much ? He replied oh you know V cars price(Veezu).
I said shall I pay by card he said no the £15 is fine, I said but I owe you £1.50 he said no its fine .
I felt bad as I owed him so money.
It wasn't until I got off the phone and thought how can this small journey cost £16.50?
I called Veezu on the 9/10/22 still waiting a response and refund.
I received a email saying the fare is £10.20

Absolutely dreadful service
Absolutely dreadful service. I use them 6 times a week for dialysis ive never been picked up on time. Often wait in excess of 90 mins. They give you a song and dance, but the whole service is disfunctional and stressful.

Minutes checked the email confirmation to find they’d just cancelled the booking. When I called spoke to a chap who initially said they been there.
But then admitted the driver aborted the job as got another job. Said they’d rebook another. After 30
Minutes watching the app search for another taxi I had to cancel and use the airport taxi. Moto of the story if you want a reliable service don’t use this company
Rubbish service
Rubbish. Didn't turn up. Untruthful about car on its way and then stuck in traffic. Finally admitted no car allocated. Missed train had to pay more expensive fare

Way overcharged me for a route I’ve done many times. The estimate they gave me on there app was £13.50 . I payed £16.50 pre book (never payed more) the driver firstly drove past me so I had to run to other side of building , then he charged me over £21 . When I called there operators to question this they cut me off. NEVER USE THESE EVER… ROBBERS!!! Disgusting

Unbelievably bad. Booked a taxi, waited 40 mins and then received a text saying it was cancelled. Rang the operator who just said the driver decided to cancel. What a joke of a company. Everyone needs to stop using them.

Didn't turn up at correct time for telephone booking, said it wasn't on the system and would dispatch a taxi. 20 minutes later same story, rude unhelpful staff - really gone downhill in last few years - not using again

I had pre-booked a taxi for a journey to the train station. The journey should have taken 15 mins and I had booked it so I had 35 mins before my train.
The taxi was half an hour late so I missed my train and it cost me a lot of money to buy a new train ticket. They do not warn you that by pre-booking, it does not guarantee a pick-up.
I’m demanding a refund of the taxi journey and if they do not, I’ll be taking it to the ombudsman.
Recommend this company totally, the best.
This company was excellent, on time, text before hand with registration & make of car. Our inward flight was delayed for quite a few hours & didn't expect them to fulfil the contract but contacted me when landed & waiting to pick us up for our forwarding journey. Couldn't ask for a better services, so stress free & definitely recommend this company & sure to use again in the future. Well done V Cars.

When no other taxi company could provide the ride, they did and it was a five star service too! Thank V cars 👍

Booked a taxi for Saturday to go to a wedding. After 10 minutes I rang them to find out where it was, and was told it would be up to an hour and 15 mins away. Ten minutes later I had a text to say the booking was cancelled .
Really disgusted that they don't bother to ring customers who have pre-booked to tell them they cannot honour the commitment, and that it was only when I rang them that they bothered to let me know. Presumably they regularly have customers missing flights and important events because of this.
Very luckily there was a wonderful local independent taxi driver that appeared in the taxi rank so I would recommend you use either Paul (07496 674 336) or Carl (07795 642 249) if you want punctual and reliable taxi service in the Bath Chippenham area.
Appalling service and unreliable

Taxi failed to turn up for an elderly disabled relative living in a Nursing Home to attend a family wedding, despite us phoning to confirm the booking the morning of the wedding.
The following day they failed to turn up again to take a relative to Bristol airport . We had phoned them that morning and were told they would be coming .
Each time they failed to turn up they had the same excuse that they were waiting to find a car/driver. Why did they take our bookings and not honour them?
We would never use this firm again & never recommended them.
V cars do not keep their commitment or promise and they leave the customers very stressed.

The morning of my appointment, just as the taxi was due, I got a text saying, taxi delayed, it’s busy in your area. Bearing in mind I live in a rural village that definitely is not busy at any time,
I phoned to ask how long, was told, your next on the list as a priority when a driver comes free, be with you shortly.
Waited 15 minutes, phoned back, this time I was told don't know how long, we got no taxis available, phone back in 15 minutes. Phoned back in 15 minutes and was told still nothing available, looks like we'll have something for you in about 25 minutes.
You guessed in, I missed my hospital appointment !! Would give no stars if option was available !!
Dreadful experience, avoid
I’m not sure how this company can be in business. 30 minutes late for a pick up is totally unacceptable and this is not the first time. This company is a shambles and I will never use them again.

Totally unacceptable service. Booked taxis 2 weeks in advance, rang twice to confirm it was actually happening and totally without surprise, they neither turned up nor offered any help over the phone. Never use again.
STILL USELESS
STILL USELESS. The App still can’t recognise Bath Spa Railway Station, which means you can’t book via the App. One phone call led to a 3-minute wait before I hung up. I tried via phone 10 minutes later to find that they’d logged my journey to Bristol Airport. I tried to book 25 minutes ahead of my train time for a 5-minute journey to the station. The operator suggested booking ONE HOUR in advance of my train time! It would be quicker to walk! Pathetic.
Do not trust
I booked a taxi to the airport the day before I needed to travel. On the day, 5 minutes after the arranged time, they sent me a text saying it’s busy in my area. 20 minutes late I phoned them and was told my taxi was dropping off another passenger 10 minutes away, but it was another 25 minutes - 45 minutes late - before my taxi arrived. Needless to say I missed my flight.
V-Cars totally let us down
V-Cars totally let us down with our PRE-BOOKED ride back from the Forwards Festival to Downend last night despite repeated assurances from the controller.
Eventually we persuaded another driver to take us - illegally, since they are only supposed to take pre-booked rides.
Was told taxi was 7 minutes
Was told taxi was 7 minutes, 20 minutes later nothing. Called to be told they would now dispatch the taxi and it would be approx 30 mins. Wow just wow
