I booked a taxi the day before I needed it for an appointment and they didn't even tell me they hadn't pre booked or couldn't find a car until I phoned them after it was due to pick me up so missed my medical appointment. Awful service

Disgusting service! Charged £20 for a usually £11 journey! V cars will go bust from this! Wish I read the reviews before I ordered it! Rude taxi driver! Drive off because he couldn’t wait 2 minutes!

Terrible service,
Driver call saying he was outside , he let me wait in the cold for 20 minutes apparently was waiting somewhere else and then he threatened me as I complained, that he would leave me in the middle of nowhere. My partner got a taxi few hours later, outside work, left a bag with glasses and medication in the car a he never got it back.

I phoned on Saturday 17th Dec 2022, to booked a cab for Sunday 18th Dec 2022 to. More than 24 hours notice for a job going from Oldfield Park to Walcot Street. I was asked to use the app so I downloaded it and placed my booking. I wrote in the notes that it was to collect my 80 year old mother and take her to a restaurant where she had a reservation. The booking was accepted on the app, but 30 mins before the ride was supposed to happen there was still no driver allocated or car details. I phoned and phoned, eventually getting through to talk to a person 2 mins before the booking was due to take place. Not only did they have NO drivers in the area, but they said they couldn't tell me when they would be there and a driver had to travel a long way to get there. They wouldn't commit to any timed pick up, or call back. They just kept repeating the same mantra, that they'd do their best and couldn't promise me anything. After half a hour of terrible service and one vague text I cancelled. I will NEVER use them again.

The car was absolutely filthy. When the driver opened the back to put my case in, there was dirt, old tools, a pile of dirty clothes, and used tissues/napkins everywhere. The rest of the car was the same.

Booked a taxi, was told 10 to 15 mins, 20 mins later I called and they said they were dropping off in 3 mins then would be with me. Called again 10 mins later and was told the car would be another 29 mins. They cancelled the car without me asking. So I was stood out in the cold for over an hour. Why lie? Will not use again.

Third time I’ve been left stranded by VCars despite booking well in advance.

Booked a taxi. Confirmed pick up address, drop off address, my card number (I have an account) and was told 15 minutes arrival. 30 minutes later called to chase - the initial call wasn't even registered in their system so got in a blue cab. Save yourself the time, use someone else

Terrible taxi company. Avoid as much as you can. Use SN1 taxis.
Pre booked 3hrs before. Didn’t turn up. Needed to be at Xmas doo. I drove in the end (had to- left car). The return leg, booked sn1 too, best to be safe. Sn1 on time. vCars, I had a message 30mins later, taxis arrived. P**s off.

Appalling service the last two trips from Bristol Airport have been delayed by at least 20 minutes.

Our journey to the airport this time was cancelled and had to be rebooked in the morning of the journey.

Apparently an error… Strongly advise not to use in the future I certainly won’t be!

Awful company. Accepted my booking and sent a confirmation but nothing turned up and no contact from the company to say no car was coming. Disgusting service - left a disabled passenger waiting roadside in pouring rain.

Absolutely appalling. Booked night before for 6.55am. Was “confirmed “ but nothing turned up. Customer service said they couldn’t allocate a car. They obviously have no idea what “confirmed” means.

At lunchtime today a car was booked for 16.30 and pre-payed as I needed to collect my vehicle from a garage by 17.30. However, at 17.30 nothing had arrived despite calls to the operator, and now I’m without a car for the weekend. Rang operator to complain, eventually got my money back, but overall who-cares attitude towards customers is unacceptable.

⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ change..... miss treated drivers under vcars. Now changed name and long waiting for car, over a hour in rain for no car even despatched. This company also faked donations to Wallace and grommet children hospital appeal. Took donations but no donations made. ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ if lucky to get cab pay driver cash. As money threw app is kept upto 2 weeks from drivers. This company has gone bad to worst 😕 😪 😒

Do not use V Cars! I called them at 16.27 yesterday for a taxi to train station which was 3 miles away for a 17.29 train. I was told my taxi was 7 mins away. After 20 minutes I called them to be advised no car had been allocated yet but as it was for a train they would prioritise now. After another 15 minutes I called back to be advised they had a taxi 15minutes away and would allocate that taxi. At 17.20 I called them again to be advised that they still hadn't allocated a taxi and it would be another 20-30 minutes minimum. Absolutely shocking service! I called Kens Cabs who were brilliant and arrived approx after 20 mins - highly recommend him over V Cars!

Booked 3 days ago for a wedding for 1145. By 1215 still no taxi and now having to drive to the wedding. Couldn’t even give us an idea of time. Saying it’s ‘busy’ is not acceptable eve a booking has been made 3 days in advance. Shocking service.

I prebooked a taxi for 5.30 am to give myself plenty of time for the 6.06 am train, phoned and spoke to an operator at 5.32 am who told me my taxi was 4 minutes away! Phoned again at 5.42 am only to be told that there was no taxi allocated to me and they would get one sorted as soon as possible. Taxi arrived at 5.58 am which resulted in me getting to the station 5 minutes after my train had departed! Have to say driver was brilliant, Customer service totally crap and very obviously a bunch of liars. I have always used V Cars, but since it has become Veezu, the service is diabolical. Never again.

DO NOT USE. I pre-booked & checked our booking for this company in advance. I asked if prepayment was required and informed we can pay in the cab.
Unfortunately I booked the company for a return journey as well and both times I was kept waiting for an hour & had to cancel it & source a different taxi firm. If you can't facilitate a book don't take it & don't lie as say a car is round the corner to then be informed it would be 30+ minutes.
The unfortunate thing is other people from our party had pre paid & the company just cancelled the booking.

Terrible company. Pre booked a taxi from bath to Bristol to get to my sick mother. When it never showed I rang them said no booking ever made and they don't take pre bookings. Then waited 25 mins for another taxi...turned up without a card reader as requested. Sent him packing had to get a friend to give me a lift. Don't waste your time or money with this ridiculous company they just don't care
