We claimed for accidental damage to a piece of furniture which had unfortunately meant scrapping it and buying a new replacement.

This company deals with claims quickly and openly. As long as the information provided is truthful and clear then I would expect that it would be settled.
I can recommend Vasek over the couple of years that I have been with them

Our experience of Vasek insurance was excellent. Our sewage drains were blocked & invaded by a tree root.
They came back to us extremely quickly,we provided all the relevant photos and extremely fast for an insurance company , we were told our claim had been approved & paid. On this basis I would highly recommend Vasek.

Absolute scoundrels who will go to any length to avoid paying a claim. Avoid at all cost. They have refused to pay for roof repairs as the wind speed was 9mph less than a definition while admitting there was heavy rainfall. During the review process they were slow in correspondence, took almost 3 months to get an answer and then 8 weeks for the complaint response. Am taking my complaint to the financial ombudsman but ideally would not have to waste so much time with them.

Avoid at all costs, pay more for insurance with a reputable insurance company. They have a lead insurer and are not your actual insurer, the broker did not make us aware of this. Time delays for responses are extremely long.

Bargain basement service. Really stressful, appalling response times, scrutinise the exclusion clauses as they offer cheap prices but write in exclusions that are not common in most policies.

We are referring to the FOS.

Total disgrace of a company in our experience. Don’t put yourself through it, take a policy elsewhere

Used to be a good company but since bought out gone v/badly downhill. Got quotes from other insurers but Vasek said because house had minor subsidence 20+ years ago they would refer to their under writer. Fine. Then delay & short msg then chased, nothing, delay, nothing. Write to them to complain - still nothing. Eventually told them to forget it. Shockingly bad.

Poor service, extremely dire response times to a simple query and obviously an insurance company that is not transparent in its written terms of their policies. Would avoid at all costs.

I've been waiting weeks for a refund relating to a home insurance policy that I cancelled. I just get told that there is a backlog. No s**t Sherlock. Why not try pressing the button on the computer that transfers the money electronically. Funnily enough, there is never a delay when they are taking money from you. Thank goodness I never had to make a claim.

I had the misfortune of having my house insurance with Vasek and when I had a leak under the wooden floor I was assigned to Leanne. Leanne spoke to me with an arrogant demeanour every time I rang because I had to ask so many questions having never made a claim before. Leanne refused my builders quotation and instructed their own freelance builder to quote which he wasn’t able to so instead Leanne got a loss adjuster involved from Glasgow who had to fly to Northern Ireland to look at my floor and immediately okayed my builders quote. Leanne made the situation a lot more difficult than it ever needed to be and as long as Leanne works at Vasek I will never have house insurance with them again.

I dealt with Leanne Machin in relation to a claim, she was so very helpful from start to finish, she kept in touch everyday, giving updates which was very reassuring. I have a landlord portfolio and I have every confidence that if there are any issues Lianne will help my clients as much as she’s helped me. Big big thank you Lianne

I have used Vasek Insurance for many years now and have found them to be helpful, friendly and competitive while offering comprehensive cover for various types of property insurance. Their unoccupied commercial and residentail property insurance in particular has excellent coverage with the option of "full perils" along with the added bonus of an optional interest free instalment facility is extremely helpful for customers.

I find Vasek Insurance to be extremely helpful and friendly and are one of my favourite insurance companies to deal with as an insurance broker. I cannot recommend Natalia enough

My wife and I own a property in East London which has a garage in a separate block. The garage roof collapsed after a large branch fell on it and we put in a claim with Vasek. The assessor came down and accepted the damage, later requesting a copy of the land registry title deed. Although the garage is on a separate title deed, the terms of tenure are identical. Having been very slow to respond, Vasek is now refusing to settle the claim.

I unfortunately insured with Vasek to my peril and it was a very expensive mistake.

2 years and still not settled my claim, have to instruct the FOS.

A reliable company with a range of insurance products and friendly staff!

Brilliant . Took out landlord insurance . Tenant had an accident . Took pics made a genuine honest claim (which is important to the process) sent pics evidence . Sent quotes and got paid out immediately .

Very professional informative and clear I thoroughly recommend.
