Due to their careless use of rat poison, a beautiful, healthy 3-year-old dog lost its life. The poor dog came into contact with the poison, and despite efforts to save it, the damage was already done.

What’s even more horrific of them is the company’s response. When the owners reached out, Vergo offered no real apology or accountability for what happened. It’s shocking to see such a lack of responsibility when dealing with something as dangerous as poison, especially in an area where pets and children live.

Their negligence and disregard for safety have caused unimaginable heartbreak, and no one should have to experience that kind of pain

Very unprofessional business. No control of their products and poisons they are putting in place. Be aware when choosing this company ESPECIALLY if you have pets or children !!!

Booked an technition for the 9th Sept, and no arrived, the back office staff have no idea what is going on and now need to rebook. Avoid Vergo and pick a company that delivery,

They recently killed a 3 year old dog and are refusing to accept responsibility, doing everything they can to bury the story.
They did not follow the correct procedure for the use of rat poison. Knowing there were dogs in the area.

They need to take accountability and own up to their actions or this will happen again.

Avoid this company at all costs. Killed my friend’s family dog who was just 3 years old, through sheer negligence and incompetency. Left rat poison down and now blaming an employee, taking no accountability for their complacency. So unprofessional throughout this horrendous ordeal and trying to brush it all under the carpet.

Due to this companies negligence they killed a pet dog at the young age of 3. The way they have also handled the situation has been disgraceful! Utterly disgusting please avoid at all costs especially if you have pets or young children !!!!! Shameful !

My niece’s young 3 years old dog has just died after 8 weeks vet treatment to try to save her life. This followed Vergo putting out rat poison in the garden without explaining that what they were doing was illegal. They have subsequently refused to accept any liability and have left my niece with a £40,000 vet bill. Disgraceful disregard for the law and disgraceful refusal to accept responsibility. Do not use this company.

This company are an absolute disgrace. They left out rat poison that killed a small dog and are refusing to accept any responsibility, leaving the young owner not only out of pocket for her veterinary bills but also heartbroken at losing her pet. Due to their negligence, a family pet has died, at the age of 3!!, after they left rat poison exposed, violating safety protocols. Vergo has refused to take responsibility or cover the £40k vet bill. If you value safety and accountability, I highly recommend avoiding this company.

The CEO James Gilding has alot to answer for. Recently a dog has been killed and multiple poisoned due to negligence from his company.
