A word of warning about vidaXL
We purchased a $220 outdoor timber seat from vidaXL. When we attempted to assemble it, we discovered that the supplied screws were too large for the timber slats. As the screws were inserted, the timber began to split.
We contacted vidaXL and explained the problem. Their solution was to offer us a $35 discount on a $220 product that we cannot even assemble without damaging it further.
So, naturally, we said we would return it for a refund.
Apparently that's not a problem... as long as it is returned in its original condition.
Seriously?
How exactly are you supposed to discover that the supplied screws split the timber without attempting to assemble the product?
We didn't change our minds. We didn't damage it through misuse. We attempted to assemble it using the parts supplied, and that's when the problem became apparent.
Extremely disappointing product and customer service. Based on our experience, we will never purchase from vidaXL again.

The shopping online experience and delivery was great. The products I purchased were not so great. Many Issues with all 3 pieces. Manufacturing very poor. Holes were not drilled correctly making it difficult to assemble the products
The holes in the adjoining panels didnt align with the cam pins and dowels. Timber Panels bowed. Some panels didnt align once assembled so the back panel didnt sit flush. Drawer runners bent.
I have purchased products in the past and never had any real issues. So its very disappointing this time

Great product, terrible delivery.

After another 4-5 days I received a notification that delivery had been made, but it hadn't been delivered. After contacting them via their A1 I was told several times that it had DEFINITELY been delivered. After asking to speak with a human (which I never got to do) more than once I was told delivery would be in 2 days... which it was. What a nightmare.

I purchased in Avery and when I received it some of the items were wrong size basically it was for a smaller size and when I contacted them they asked for photos and information that I had given them plus a heap of photos they keep asking for more photos and sizes and tell me that they will get back to me in 6 days and now it been at least 12+ Days and when contacted them to find out what happening they asked for more photos and for me to set it up and give them photos and sizes of it set up now you can't set it up cos half the stuff is to small so I wouldn't be buy anything else from them and on top the it plastic connectors to join the frame together not metal and very flimsy framing not strong as it should be for a bird Avery that's roughly about 4 meters by 2 meters by 2 meters so definitely not worth the $900 but delivery was good 5 ⭐ for delivery the rest about 1 or 2 stars

Arrived in small individual pieces, nothing labelled at all. A large bag of mixed screws, nails, dowels all interlocked and unlabelled. Was like putting a puzzle together. Took me 2 days. The quality is cheap, the white matte laminate finish is so transparent it looks dirty.
VidaXL storage headboard with shelf white engineered wood 140.
Atleast some parts were labelled and screws were separated. Quality is still cheap and came in small parts.
Want 2 days of my life back. Total Cost $595.58 with postage
Very disappointed, looks so cheap.

Faulty planterboxes
They sent me two planterboxes which are covered in a plastic that is supposed to be for protection during transport. The plastic is ripped, bubbled up, scratched off in small patches. It can not be removed as it is thin and very stuck. Firstly, why not use thin cardboard for easy removal and environmental care? Secondly, it looks bad and I don't want the boxes like this. I paid AUD 218. They offered me $20 refund. They are going to charge $40 for taking them back despite them sending me faulty products. Greed before honesty and accountability. When, in the chat, I said I am not willing to pay $40 for their mistake, they hung up. Be warned people. This company is run with dishonesty and greed.

The worst of the worst
The worst of the worst! There is poor, there is bad, there is horrible and then there is this company! The only thing they get 5 stats for is poor service! We bought a table off them! It arrived with a piece missing, none the less the first piece in the poor instructions! We called. Emailed. Spoke to there ai chat, finally got to what appeared to be some what of a human who just stopped replying! finally get an email response with no actual answer accept they will try contact the relevant department. I actually dont even want the missing piece anymore but NO one and i mean NO one should buy anything from these guys.

the wire is a nightmare. Holes all through it now because the wiring got all tangled. The rest of it was easy to do, but if you move often, this is not ideal because you have to cut the wire to pack it down...
