Purchased garden beds in April from…
Purchased garden beds in April from this company, items arrived and were flimsy corrugated iron where the ends where bent in dangerous ways that made injury very possible.
The design of the piece is poor, the braces do not work and extra support in the form of stakes were needed. I purchased smaller round garden beds, hoping these would be better, these were purchased through eBay. The company alleged they didn’t have the items in stock, but did not action a cancellation or refund straight away via eBay’s system. They stated it would take 8 days for the refund to come through, which is categorically false if done through the eBay system in a timely manner.
EBay confirmed nothing was actioned and that if failure to produce the product happened, the money would be returned in full. I took a screenshot of this conversation and sent a message via eBay’s message system to confirm if my items were coming or not as they still hadn’t been actioned.
Only when I requested that they send a similar product did they finally cancel the transaction. Otherwise they would have attempted to keep the money. Company cannot produce good quality items and lies about initiating refunds until prompted by the platform. Do not buy anything unless you have buyer protection, such as eBay or PayPal.
Company still has listing for out of stock items active well after they cancelled the purchase, so listing had to be reported directly to eBay. Avoid this company.
Edit: this company is now attempting to offer me refunds for both orders, only partial for the defective ones I had sitting in my house. I offered this company with the choice of providing items with similar dimensions or a refund, this was prior to them cancelling the order. The company lies and says it will action refunds and has a history of not doing this, as eBay knows about. The fraudulent listing is still available for purchase on eBay even after being notified about it by myself and through eBay’s reporting system. Poor customer service who try to hide in emails and only reaponds to reviews of their company not made on eBay.

Holy smokes this piece of furniture is crap. Ive worked hands on in the construction industry for 30 years and also built countless flat pack pieces. This is absolutely the worst ive ever seen. Margins dont line up, drawer is crooked and doesn't run well, fixings were rubbish, and assembled it looks nothing like the pic on the website.....once it was assembled I stepped back to look at it and burst out laughing. Looks like that thing Homer Simpson made that time.

Constructing a greenhouse
Two of us recently constructed a greenhouse. There were no instructions as such, just diagrams. Steps in the process were not in correct sequence, necessitating taking pieces apart to put in the braces. More brackets are needed to strengthen long frame pieces, not just on the one side.

I'll be the first to admit that I've bought some junk in my time, but this.
I'll be the first to admit that I've bought some junk in my time, but this.. This officially takes the crown as the most useless, unfit for purpose junk ever sold. VidaXL should be ashamed to sell garden beds of this low standard. First up, if you're thinking of buying any garden bed from VidaXL, don't. Walk away. You'll spend 10 minutes or more per panel trying to remove the plastic to start with. At 40 plus panels in garden bed, that alone is enough to drive you crazy. Then, there's the quality, or complete lack of it. The panels are literally the thinnest sheets of corrugated known to man, scratched and dented before coming out of the box. Removing the plastic actually lifts off the paint, and even though I bought all beds in the same grey colour, there are at least 3 different colours in the boxes. The holes for the nuts and bolts are larger than the nuts and bolts, so you'll need a pile of washers and bigger nuts ready, and don't dare tighten them, as they'll tear straight through the metal. If you actually get to finishing one of these things, you'll need to re-spray it with paint so it doesn't rust before you get a chance to put soil in it - but you can't actually put soil in them as these things are so flimsy they won't actually hold soil without malforming. Don't do it. To rub salt in the wound, VidaXL have since been in touch, and said that to return the still boxed units will cost me freight plus the return fee of $199.94. Absolute scam product, and scam business model.

Logistic company delivered to the wrong location. We ordered a bed frame so the package was so heavy and we had to collect it ourselves from our neighbours!!
The bed frame itself so many little wood pieces and holes not drills property very hard to assemble! 400+ over screws??? Your crazy! Partial refund is needed

Very poorly designed and cheaply made
The shelf I purchased is really poorly designed and was so difficult to assemble. The wrench that came with it was too big for the bolts and a lot of the eyelets for the bolts didn’t line up properly. Would not recommend.

Jury Still Out on These Stakes
I searched for robust garden stakes because I was sick of the Bunnings one rotting off at the ground, and these came up. They looked good on the screen, plastic coated steel and a bit cheaper than the wooden Bunnings ones. They came quickly but I was surprised at how flimsy they seem. Time will tell if they are any good.
