Late delivery and faulty/ sub standard product.
Vidaxl massage recliner chair.
Promised next day delivery for Christmas present. Ordered 27 November. Didn't arrive on time. Chased vidaxl after 7 days till was finally delivered, only to find once assembled the product was faulty.
When checking refund/returns policy it appears responsibility falls on purchaser to organise. Policy states product must be in same form as when delivered. However, this was a recliner chair which took hour/s to assemble. Not happy if have to disassemble again and repack. Very dissapppinting experience epecially on Christmas day after long time assembling only to find faulty.
Review update.
Vidaxl offered me remedy in the form of total 50% refund for faulty goods or I needed to dismantle chair, return at my expense and then seek reimbursement of the freight costs.(which I was not confident would eventuate even if I returned).
My understanding of Australian Consumer Law was that when goods are faulty a full refund is warranted. However, I was over this ordeal and the too-ing and fro-ing with the company, so settled for 50% refund which has now been paid.
For these reasons I would think twice if looking at ordering from this company and not rely on 'next day delivery' guarantee when offered either, - 4 days (as per their comment) is still not 'next day'.

We are very sorry for the delay in delivery. While the order was delivered on the 5th business day, we usually aim to deliver within 4 business days. During the holiday season, however, our delivery volumes were higher than usual, which caused this delay.
UPDATE: We would like to clarify that, as you have declined to return the product despite our offer of a free return, we are unable to provide a full refund at this time.
If you wish to proceed with returning the item, please let us know, and we will provide the necessary instructions to facilitate the return.

PUG RIPPED CAGE APART IN SECONDS
It took weeks for the product to arrive parts were missing so I had to buy spare parts from bunnings.
Finally get the cage up, $350 + $50 postage & my pug has busted through it in minutes

Confirm del assured twice if live remotely
Yet to open/assemble. Box in good order. Disappointed as my first attempt at an order was cancelled by vidaXL, without prior notice, as I live on an island, mind you some purchases, from other companies, do get through, either with Free postage or sorted at checkout. So postage/delivery fee should have been sorted at checkout regarding this order. I did try again, listing a transport companies depot on the mainland after paying the transport company, a further $110 for delivery. This is sometimes the case, but not always. Mostly inconvenienced about any extra delivery charge should have been sorted at checkout. Surely vidaXL have an agreement in place with a Brisbane transport company that can be calculated at checkout, instead of disappointing and inconveniencing a customer by your system saying it accepts my postcode for delivery, when it doesn't!

Ordered 2 xmas trees -crap
Ordered 2 xmas trees, one falls over because the pot it’s in isn’t heavy enough. The other has a round pole to go into a squares base 🤪. VidaXL will not issue a refund. never shop with these guys

Absolutely disgusting
Absolutely disgusting. No numbers , no letters , nothing marked. Took us 3 days to put one set together. Just ridiculous. Will never buy flat packs from you again. Boards chipped. So stressful I just wanted to use it as fire would. Took all my excitement away for Christmas. So thx for nothing. What a waste of money. And apparently your items are well know for this. Never ever again. A week later and still not up. Christmas spirit is gone thx to your products.

Lovely poly rattan outdoor 6 seater…
Lovely poly rattan outdoor 6 seater dining setting and super quick delivery. Finding it very hard to assemble as there are lots of components to the chairs and being an older female, I’m struggling to do it on my own which I have done previously! I’m going to have to hire someone to do this for me so extra expense that I wasn’t expecting. It will look awesome though once done.

Completely misleading instructions
Completely wrong and unusable instructions, presenting some parts differently from what they actually are. For example, part B is shown with enforcement along longer edges, while the real one has enforcement along shorter edge. Same with part C, in addition it is drawn as curved, while it is actually flat. The drawing does not show how exactly (which direction) to place both parts D. Stick L does not fit into existing holes on parts F and E and can easily break.
In general, I do not recommend this product as it causes frustration to the customer.

Spring box double bed
Spring box double bed: This bed is a disappointment. I’ve spent the entire weekend trying to assemble it. The screws are so poorly designed that they don’t fit into the holes. I had to apply pressure to the point of bending one of the metal corners of the base just to get them to screw in. I had to discard half of the rings that hold those screws because the screw wouldn’t reach the hole. I’m used to assembling furniture myself, but this was a nightmare, and even then I know it won’t be stable.
The company says they are offering me a refund of AUD 23 or that I should dismantle the bed and take it to a store. I told them that they must come to pick up this bed and dismantle it themselves, if they can.
Don’t waste your money.
