Whether it’s due to chemotherapy, alopecia, genetics, pattern baldness, gender transition or stress, we will have the solution. We deliver the highest quality wigs and service within the North East of England. Our efforts have been recognised by the NHS. As an NHS approved supplier to Sunderland, Freeman and RVI hospitals, we can now accept payment vouchers and individual funding requests from these Trusts and GP’s. We also, of course, see many private clients.

Doesn’t even look like a wig
I love my wigs I bought from you. I have been having treatment for cancer and have lost my hair but I bought 2 wigs from you that are as near to my own hair as I could get. People don’t know I’m wearing a wig unless I tell them! I also bought the shampoo conditioner & balm set from you to keep them looking nice.

great customer service
great customer service - very pleasant and happy to advise. My wig arrived within time but it wasnt to my liking but can't return it now as i am no longer in the UK. Once I am back I will make a visit to the salon inorder to make it the perfect expereince and selection.

As expected,my products arrived on time and secured well and the products were in a pretty net bag also.

Told me I had to pay a "handling fee"…
Told me I had to pay a "handling fee" when returning purchase for refund. They deducted £30 from the price also you have to pay your own postage which in all was expensive just for returning an item that wasn't suitable. I won't be buying from them again, also the wig was nothing like the picture shown on line. Very disappointed!

Thanks for your feedback. The handling fee is listed on all product pages and is in place to cover duties and VAT on returns, but I understand it’s still frustrating. Delivery was on time but ordered two items and only one arrived. The mistake was quickly rectified though and the customer service was excellent.

Feel totally supported
It’s not a situation I wanted to find myself in, but Janet put me at ease very quickly with her calm, attentive approach. She’s extremely knowledge and was able to advise, whilst supporting me to make my own decision about my choice of wig.

Quality Service and Product Every Time
I visited the Kitui Hair Salon and The Wonderful Wig Company with my Mother on Friday 5th September 2025.
This is our 3rd visit over the past few years and Janet makes us feel very welcome every time.
She is very knowledgeable and passionate about the product she sells, giving advice which is appropriate after listening to her customers wishes and ideas for both colour and style. Always professional and reassuring.

Amazing Janet
Janet knew exactly what I needed . She made sure the colour was sorted with an expert colourist and she cut it twice to make it perfect for me. She is so positive friendly and reassuring and has made the whole experience better than it could have been she is amazing and so was the colourist 🤩

Felt really nervous turning up for my first appt at the Sunderland branch after suffering from really thinning hair on the crown.
Met by a lovely lady called Janet who made my nerves melt away.
She went above and beyond to find the perfect match of hair topper to my normal hair.
The topper arrived a few weeks later and after it was cut to style it was perfect. Thank you Janet you have given me back my confidence and i only wish I had done it years ago.
