Very helpful and competent
I have found Woodsure to be very professional and helpful.

Very helpful staff....flawed scheme
The staff at Woodsure were so helpful and made the process very painless. The scheme however is somewhat flawed as it doesn’t apply to all sellers of firewood and only to bigger businesses who have to comply which will not eliminate traders selling wet firewood at cheaper prices. It relies on the consumer making responsible decisions which unfortunately does not work.

When it comes to the scheme, the Ready to Burn scheme is legislated in two parts, with smaller suppliers required by law to join the scheme by 2022, for sellers of wood sold in quantities under 2 cubic metres. We do understand your concerns and we look forward to welcoming smaller suppliers by April next year.

Great scheme. Thorough but straightforward process, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Providing an industry standard stamp for UK wood fuel.

Amanda and her team are great, so professional, helpful and nothing is to much trouble. Its great that we are so close to them in terms of location, regular updates are invaluable and the seminars they have run over the years really brings the industry together.

Well worth it!
We are in our second year of Woodsure accreditation, and it's been well worth it to our business, we believe it gives credibility to the business and re-assures our customers that we care about what we sell.
The joining process is easy, it doesn't cost a great deal, Amanda and her team are great, always there if we need them, we get regular updates and information through from them.
When legislation does come in, we will be well placed to move forwards with no disruption to our business.
