Great customer service from Emma & Dan.

The whole experience of purchasing our apartment from the Berkeley Group was very smooth. The standard of the build was very good, and the community spirit is wonderful. We also want to give a special mention to Emma Walker and Tanya Capone-Taylor. Their help both prior and post sale has been greatly appreciated. Nothing has been too much trouble for them. Thank you to both of you.

Spoke to a nice person who was very efficinet

The problem with Berkely is that whilst they're selling the properties they couldn't be nicer or more professional. BUT as soon as the units are sold they just drop the ball. That's really quite dishonest. They say they have security on their properties, but they then budget cut the security and put an automatic gate that doesn't work half the time. so essentially that leads to 2 issues: 1. you have to wait for someone to leave before you can get in, and 2. that means that anyone can get in. That's NOT security.

House quality is good, but service is bad.

Berkeley really train their staff to work as a team so we had a seamless service for our house purchase but Graeme went more than an extra mile as our rental was coming to an end and helped us to achieve completion before our rental contract ended. We love our dream home as the contractors are also conscientious about the standard of work on our development. A really amazing achievement for a developer.

I think the whole sales team (Graham, Fran, Nicola) @ Hareshill, Berkeley Homes are extremely competent and very helpful! I bought a home on the estate last month and the whole process has been handled brilliantly from start to finish.

I went to visit Silkstream, a new development at Hendon, and the sales & marketing staff was wonderful. Aly Nurmohamed was consultative, patient and informative. If I make a big purchase like a new property, I would like to work with someone like Aly who comes across as trustworthy and thoughtful.

It’s seems a small matter but the CS’s response totally damaged Brekeley‘s proud of after-sales service. I moved in 2 weeks even take over 5 months. I found the water filter is torn but the CS replied that unfortunately you didn’t reported when snagging. What is the poor after sale service, no one will check the water filter and it is definitely torn before installation.

Always prepared to listen and take calls on the smallest detail. The CEO can be proud of the shared values members demonstrated when engaging with customers. Appreciate the efforts to ready the property before I moved in. Thank you Karen & Helen for being so attentive throughout the process.

Extremely helpful sales staff, customer service and after service staff

Never buy a Berkeley Property. I live in Westmark Tower.
Few points:
1) When you move in there you're tied into a egregious energy supplier OWNED by Berkeley (there is a heat plant in the building that is completely unregulated that you HAVE to pay for and can't switch from. I've been getting bills as high as £300/month for AC/hot water, without even electricity and this is for a 1 BED UNIT!).
2) Once units sold, appointed their OWN facility manager (Lee Baron) which did a diabolic job of managing the property, looks run down and tired after just a few years.
3) Maintenance charge is INSANE combined with the above.

Just don't do it.

The Berkeley Team have been very professional and in particular the after sales team have been very good at documenting and resolving the snag list.

Overall the quality of the build and materials seems very good but like all man made structures a new house will have some defects. These are all being put right quickly and efficiently.

We particularly like the style of the houses and the open green space on this development and once the trees have matured it will be a lovely space to live in.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Berkeley to anyone looking for a new home.

BE VERY CAREFUL

The Sales Office gave detailed information about the property and provided necessary assistance during the purchase process. The customer services team also provided outstanding and prompt responses to my queries and concerns. The quality of the property is excellent with all high grade appliances.
This is my second purchase from Berkeley Homes Cranleigh Sales Office. I am very satisfied with my two purchases.
