Central Lofts has been honest from the beginning. We had our loft done in 2020. After 3.5 years we're happy with the service overall. Good quality in everything they used. The contract was clear and easy to understand. After each step they finished we made a partial payment. Last week I needed a roofer to come and have a look in an apparent infiltration near a velux window. Renatas sent someone and they checked everything and unblocked the exit of the extractor fan. Very helpful as always. Would strongly recommend.

Central Lofts helped me transform my loft into a third bedroom. A very professional and responsible service throughout the process, from planning until completion. The entire team were very good. I was liviyin the house at the same time and they were very respectful and delivered the work on time. Also they were very collaborative to adjust to ongoing improvements as the works evolved. Definitely one of the most reliable construction team I've ever witnessed.

Having decided to go ahead with a loft conversion I proceeded to obtain quotations from three separate companies who specialized in this type of work.
To be truthful this was an onerous task to navigate, evaluating the pros and cons.
After careful consideration my final decision to opt for Central Lofts was relatively easy as they explained everything in easy to understand detail and presented the most transparent build costs,build timetable and staged payments.
Work commenced on agreed date.
Communication throughout work schedule was excellent .
Build Quality is amazing-Built on time-On Budget.

We had an amazing experience with Central Loft teams, all the way from early consultations, ideations, pricing, building, and after-sale services.

About 2 years ago, we went with Central Lofts after meeting 7 loft conversion companies. Central Lofts came out to have the most reasonable prices based on our requirements and was very helpful in explaining the process with us. They also helped us with some great idea in designing the partition walls on ground floor and layout of the loft. We had lots of questions and they remained very patience in answering them to help with our understanding.

The building process was also quite smooth. The teams were very experienced in constructing the loft. We were also able to rectify a few issues very quickly along the way, including adjusting the layouts, stairs, materials and electricity. The teams were considerate and shared a lot of valuable ideas. If anything uncertain, the team will also consult our thoughts and permission rather than just going ahead to finish the project quickly. Thanks to them, we also get to know quite a few good suppliers where we can get materials, windows, and glasses. I am also very grateful for their thoughtfulness as they adjusted the project timeline to accommodate a long delay in finishing the build due to the window and door supplier (a different company we commissioned separately). Now we have a lovely loft that we really enjoyed!

About 1.5 years later, we also had an issue with one of the roof tiles. Not sure why it happened and we suspect it could be due to the recent storms and the neighbour also did a loft conversion after ours, which may have accidentally affected that tile. Nevertheless, the team came to fix it the next day which I am so grateful!

We had a loft conversion built by renetas and team in 2019. had we probably met about eight different builders before we found central lofts.
I had originally gone with a loft company from outside London but due to timings they were unable to commit to doing the project in the summer of 2019. So I asked them if they could recommend a company. The provided me with Huws number and said they recommend him.

The architect arrived at our house and explained the loft project to my while I was at work. She immediately fed back to me that he was the first person who really managed to explain to her what the work would entail and how it would look once constructed.

A few months later we decided to go ahead. The architect then came round again ran through the works and bought a architect for the technical drawings.
The next day our project manager arrived and within two weeks work had commenced and took care of the Building regulations and the skip license. I was extremely keen on a full package and basically do not have the time or inclination to get involved in the moving pieces. It was this wholistic approach which I greatly valued.

Scaffolding went up in a couple of days and then our building team arrived. The builder and his helper who were both top guys. Its pretty crazy how quickly the loft was built. For the first 3 weeks all the work is external with steel girders being placed in the roof and tiles taken off. The dormer is then built and work inside can commence. Honestly the speed is really impressive. Loads of builders take a long time making no progress Central lofts work fast and quickly which is what I like.

Once the loft is complete the stairs are constructed, this took 1 day which is crazy and you have another floor on your house. Windows are fitted along with more internal work. Its at this stage when I thought it was almost done but there was probably another month of plaster board electrics windows ect.

The tiling and plumbing and electrics is next. Word of warning here running electricity from under the stairs tears through walls as everything needs to be replastered. We were planning on redecorating so it didn’t bother us, but the process creates dust everywhere, even though covers are placed everywhere.

In the loft we worked and adjusted the plans as we went along to get the size of bathroom and layout we wanted. The builders were totally flexible which was great. As you don’t understand the full layout of everything until the shell is done.

Finally a carpenter comes in and fixes everything doors, skirting board cupboards.

What's prompted me to right this review is 4 years later when we come to sale the house. I had lost out electrical certificate. Central lofts came out to recertiy for free. Great service years late

Great company to work with. Good communicators and excellent standard.

We had a loft conversion done by Central lofts which included an en-suite shower room, French doors with a Juliet balcony & skylights.
Right from the initial meeting I was very pleased with the company. I had paid a minimum deposit then had a run into an issue with finances. The director was extremely patient & waited for me, bearing in mind this was last year when building materials were going up in price weekly!
He honoured the original quote, which I might add was a very good & realistic price
considering the quotes I had from other companies.
The team started work as per the itinerary,
they worked tirelessly for 6 long days every week, the only hold up was caused by me choosing the right en-suite & making changes to the lighting & French doors.
They have done an excellent job and completed on time.
I would like to thank Renatas who would answer my many phone calls… sometimes quite late at night.
I would also like to thank David for his patience in the beginning.
I have no reservations in recommending Central lofts… in fact my neighbour is about to sign the contract for her loft conversion.

One of the most difficult task for anyone looking for an extension is to get the reliable builder and I am plain lucky to zero in on central loft. What an enthusiastic and artistic bunch of people, I mean each one of them are gems in their own ways. I find it almost impossible to find a fault with how they took the project and how seamlessely they delivered it for us.
I was particularily impressed by how they make you feel special even though they are doing the similar projects day in and day out.
These are the people who are extremely proud of what they are doing and always there to listen to your concerns or ideas.
Renatas has been exceptional leading the project and Michael and his boys are super in execution.
Overall a very happy customer and would reccomend it to anyone looking for loft conversion.
These guys are simply "subject matter experts" and one stop shop for all things loft.
My work was completed before time and some words for anyone providing negative reviews , A team which has been so good for so many, can not become bad overnight for some.

We were glad we choose Central Lofts to do our hip to gable and dormer loft extension as they offer a one stop shop of design and build taking away the head aches of finding architects, engineers and then builders. Once the project started after an annoying delay from my fussy neighbour (not Central lofts) with a party wall agreement, it all then seemed to easily fall into place at rapid speed! Thanks again to all of the team and their hard work in making what could have been stressful an absolute pleasure in making our double bedroom/ office with ensuite bathroom. From a very happy customer!

Done my loft conversion and I am very happy with the work. Very reliable, started well and finished on time as planned, always updating every step what is going on and what to expect. Pasha and his team was always on time and work really hard from morning to evening (hats of to them), Renatas(project manager) was very helpful and always communicate with details of works.
I gave 4 star because we had a problem with plumber and his finishing but apart from that I am really happy with the work done by central lofts team. I would like to thank and appreciate the work from renatas and his team.

Website was easy to navigate. Told them how I wanted the extension and they delivered beyond my expectations! Great experience overall would definitely recommend.

We have just finished our loft build with Central Lofts, my partner and I are absolutely thrilled with our new master bedroom and bathroom. We simply cannot recommend this company more. Central Lofts employ many guys who all come and do their part of the build, the whole process works like clock work with each tradesman following on from one another. They work quickly and to a high standard. Any concerns we had were answered with a quick message or call. Thank you so much Central Lofts.

We chose Central lofts for our loft conversion, and I want to highlight their great after care service. We noticed in November after a very long rainy & stormy period a small patch of leak form, and Renatas was very quick in arranging for a team of roofers to attend a few days later and find the source & fix it. This is 1.5 years after the loft has been completed, so very much appreciate their quick response to this and aim to get things sorted. Their after care service is second to none!

We have hired CentralLofts for a loft extension that had already been designed and approved by council. The entire process was extremely smooth: David came to discuss budget and work in June, and Renatas (the contract manager) came in September to discuss the details just prior to the commencement of work. The building team (led by Michael, they have several building teams) started to work in mid-september, and by the end of October everything was pretty much done (!!).

Things we liked a lot of the experience:
1) All the builders are proud of the job they do. They want to hear from you that you are happy, and they put all their efforts to make sure that this happens. It's about small things, like noticing that a piece of the pre-existing ceilings is not well done and fixing it just to make sure the final work is done properly.
2) Both Renatas and the leader of the builder team are always at your disposal via whatsapp. As mentioned by other reviews Renatas may not come very often to the building side, but there is no need to: he is always responsive to any question or doubts.
3) Our loft extension was performed on a recently decorated house, and we lived inside the property with a small child throughout the process. Yes, it is a bit of a messy process at times. But everybody in the team was extremely careful to minimise the inconvenience on our family. The building team would often spend the last part of the day tidying up as much as possible the dust generated by the works.
4) The speed and the efficiency in the work were unbelievable. Renatas gave us a timeline for the works that seemed quite optimistic to us based on stories we heard about similar building works done by other companies. Somehow they managed to finish ahead of that already really optimistic schedule!
5) Reasonable cost: before choosing Central Lofts, we received quite a few quotes from various building companies in the local area. We got quite unbelievable quotes, all north of 6 figures, citing brexit and inflation as causes. Central Lofts gave us much more reasonable and detailed costings, and worked throughout the process to help us save money and fit our budget wherever it was reasonable to do so.

We really enjoyed the support given to us by the Central Lofts team throughout this project, and would recommend their work to anyone.

When Huw the company architect came to visit us, we felt a very good vibe from him ( honesty and Integrity)
Then Renatas the project manager took over. Well what can I say , even having a family bereavement, he made time soon after to visit us.
The loft project started on time and within 2-3 weeks everything was water tight against the British weather.
The workers lead by Michael and Nick had a very good work ethic arriving early ( 7.30am ) and finishing at 17:30.
There were clean and clinical in their skills.
Renatas is a true professional and we never had bad words exchanged.
He did put the customer foremost and taking the occasional frustrations of his workers on the chin.
He stood by us in what we wanted .
All in all a great company who do not take short cuts whose key workers are its forte.
