Awful company to deal with
Awful company to deal with. Took payment through PayPal and never sent confirmation of order. Happy to take my money and then claimed no order was placed. Lucky enough I used PayPal to get money back

Avoid this company
Avoid this company. I ordered once from this outfit and now I'm getting spammed by someone claiming to represent Chums. I tried to report the problem to Chums, but my email got bounced.
All incoming emails from the spammer now being forwarded to the UK Government phishing site.
Ordered a pair of jeans for my husband…
Ordered a pair of jeans for my husband and a dress for myself a month ago the jeans came promptly and were good quality.The dress however only turned the other day after phone calls ,and emails ( also no apology for the delay .It was awful nothing like the picture more like prison garb ,cheap crap never ever again

My mum Placed an order for some slippers, returned them and she is still waiting for a refund one month later. She called them (note it’s not a freephone number and is expensive after being on hold for ages) they said they had found the items, yet no refund has happened. She then got taken into hospital so I tried to email them for a refund and they started spouting data protection and claiming she needed to call them as email doesn’t match. We have still not had a refund. Truly dreadful please don’t order
Exchange shoes and a returns label
Requested exchange for larger size shoes and returns label as original damaged. This was emailed to me and I received the replacement 7 days after I posted the return. Very pleased with the service and the shoes.
Honestly, don't bother, unless you're not in a hurry!
Have just chased an order with customer services whilst being charged at 13p per minute. They couldn't even find my account or order for several minutes. Order was placed 14th September, four working days later the status hadn't changed and no notification of dispatch. I've finally been told that the order has been released to the warehouse and we should have it by the end of next week which will be almost two weeks since placing the order! Absolutely shocking service. The order is for my 90 year old mum for her nieces wedding. I wish we hadn't bothered as getting a refund seems like it's going to be an uphill struggle too!
Ordered ONE pair of jeans
Ordered ONE pair of jeans, size 34 waist was sent a pair with a 44 inch waist!!! This was my first and last time I will deal with this company If only I had read the reviews first I would have not had anything to do with them.
Zero customer service
Been using Chums for years with no issues, however my latest, and my last, order shows zero customer service.
Ordered curtain & bed linen on 10 August, to be sent by Evri (a heart sinking moment)
Evri contact me the following week to say they had lost the parcel. If they can’t find it after 10 days I have to contact Chums and deal with it.
I contact Chums and they tell me that Evri alleged I had told them I didn’t want the order and they were waiting on the package being returned. I have never indicated to Evri I didn’t want the package, I have paid for goods and expect them to be delivered.
I will not get a refund until they get the package back – this is the 'lost' package that Evri can’t find, leaving me out of pocket.
Chums customer service continued to be totally unhelpful, and say I have to wait another 10 days before they can do anything – that was in a call to them in early September. Seem to believe Evri’s false allegation re me not wanting the goods, rather than offer any customer support.
2 emails to their CEO’s office did not get a reply.
I ended up contacting my card provider with a view to getting a chargeback. If that fails, I guess it will be the small claims court.
Will not be dealing with this company again.

Ordered a pair of jeans. They still have not left the warehouse but can not be cancelled I have to have them delivered to send back...pha!
Then they charge you premium rate to call the customer services who cant help you or hear you properly...thus a call just cost me a further tenner...Jeans now at a cost of £45.95...
Ah well lesson learnt.

Quality and fit as described and super fast delivery as always. I have had to return an item before and I have had no issues. Great company. These trousers are for my son for school.
Absolutely diabolical service
First time purchasing from Chums and what an absolutely diabolical service and experience from the word go.
1. Their website said there was an issue with my payment and to contact their customer service which concerned me as there was no issue my end and they'd emailed me confirming my order!
2. Unsure what the staus was I rang the next day the call cost me £16 for 12 minutes!!
3. The order took a ridiculous length of time to be processed and sent out to me, still concerned and not very positive I had to email them for an update.
3. "Weeks" later, at no point was there an update why delayed and fobbed off.
4.Finally arrived 2 pairs of leather trainers and a fleece. The fleece was fine but the 2 pairs of genuine leather trainers were poor quality.
5. I flagged this by email again! Was told resend using return label in the bag. There wasn't one!!! They said they would email me a label which took days by which time I'd sorted myself online.
6. I returned the 2 pairs clearly identifying the poor quality but would like them exchanged.
7. Considerable time passed Evri status didn't change from "on way back to retailer" and no contact from Chums.
8. Evri confirmed I needed to contact retailer. ☹️
9. More Emails 😔 Endless emails fobbing me off including my Evri reference didn't exist when I'd sent screenshots of Evri status and confirmation the parcel had been collected from the parcel shop and on its way to Chums. 🤔 Another fob off.
10. Eventually 2 weeks after sending the trainers back I had, had enough and asked for a refund or I would put the matter in legal hands. Received email stating no refund as replacement trainers had been despatched the day before, which was another fob off as they weren't despatched until 3 days later. I've now today received 1 replacement pair and 1 of the pairs I'd sent back! The cheek of it, my note with where the marks were was still tucked inside the trainer!! Luckily the marks weren't as bad or the poor leather effect as the other pair so I've decided to just keep them, rather than another round with the dreadful appalling Chums customer service! Sending something back to a customer that they'd returned, the worst customer service I've ever come across.
So.... At least 5 nearly 6 weeks after ordering I'm out of pocket £16 1 x call, 38 x emails stressed have a poor quality pair of trainers that's been sent back and forth...and vow to never ever buy from Chums ever again and will pass the word on DON'T BUY FROM CHUMS!
PS Since writing my review I've read other customers nightmare experiences and realise I should thank my lucky stars my items arrived at all even if partly poor quality.
Poor Service , Dissatisfied with Order
Update to my last post re excuses. I'm a new customer.
My shoes arrived today, ordered 27th August 2025, but I do admit to pressing call handler when chasing order that I wanted to speak to a Supervisor, who he said would phone me back as well as see if she could expediate order, and I asked for name of Chums CEO, which he didn't know. Supervisor never called back. Shoes not good quality, will keep as probably take an age to be processed and payment return delayed. Also I never received any form of confirmation of payment.
Won't use Chums again.
I ordered a pair of trousers that were meant to be delivered today for a Weddin TOMMOROW, when I called up I got waffled by a new system being installed what a lot of crap so I insisted on a refund.
I ordered Moleskin gents trousers that were supposed to come today but didn't for a wedding tomorrow, so the girl on the phone said it's OK we will send you out another pair in 5 days, she knew the order wasn't coming, she blamed a new system, she was lying, I demanded a refund which is supposed to be back in my credit card in 5 days. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE CON ARTISTS THEY HAVE LET ME DOWN BIG TIME, SHOP AMAZON OR EBAY STAY CLEAR OF THESE CON ARTISTS. PLEASE BE AWARE THIS CO.PANY HAS CRAP REVIEWS AND TAKING PEOPLE'S MONEY AND NOT SENDING ITEMS, I SUSPECT A CON AND THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE COMPANY HAVE NO ITEMS ADVERTISED ON THEIR WEBSITE KEEPP AWAY AT ALL COSTS, I WILL INVESTIGATE FURTHER.
Where is my order
My order was placed on the 15 July 7 weeks now and had no response about a diverse date

I have been waiting for my delivery since money taken out of my account on 18th August, no acknowledgment of my order, no confirmation of delivery, nothing at all!! When I rang them on 27th August they told me there had been a problem with my order and it would be with me within 5 working days: 5 working days later still no delivery snd no communication of any sort!! Looks like i will kiss goodbye to my money then 🤷♂️
Dreadful on every level
I ordered shoes for my dad on 23/8 and still no sign of them (3/9). This is the first time I have ordered from Chums and feel seriously let down. Delivery costs are high, phone call costs are designed to deter calls and customer service is non existent.
Interesting that the Feefo reviews linked to Chums own site are so positive 🤔.
It is unheard of to be so useless at customer service and delivery in 2025.
