Found the perfect bike without knowing what it was.
Popped in late on Good Friday (sorry) just before closing time, Jay couldn't of been more helpful.
Gave me loads of great advice, pointed me in the right direction and told me to do some research to make sure I knew what I wanted and come back the following day.
I did, found the perfect bike (Aprilia V4 1100 factory), he went through all important stuff and got me on the road.
Brilliant service, really looked after me and even chucked a new battery on the bike because the one that was fitted was dead when we tried to start it. (new one in the box from bikers world across the road)
Highly recommend, great service and personal touch you don't get from other bike warehouse's.

Bought mt o7 just over 1 year ago £6500 gave me trade in price of 4500 today only put a thousand miles on it to 2100.yet on there website identical bike same year over 13000 miles advertised for over £6300 I'm all for making a profit but that takes the Mickley. Avoid.

I purchased a new tracer9gt, Simon dealt with me from start to finish. Everything was fully explained throughout and Simon was extremely helpful.
**BE AWARE & VERY CAUTIOUS**
Extremely dissapointed. Was meant to be part exchanging a CBR600RR for a Husqvarna 701. Travelled over 3 hours for this bike as live further up past Lancaster.. Pictures weren't accurate at all, didn't show even half of the marks on the bike, fork seals have completely popped with fluid dripping down the stanchions - this is an MOT fail and very very unsafe for the road!! The rear brake oil was off, completely off, black and smelt awful.
Now I am a female, I am a fully qualified motorcycle mechanic, as stated above.. explained this to them as looking over bike and pointing out the issues, they tried to call me a liar and tell me that brake fluid is always that colour even new🤔 Definitely not. I am trying to contact the general sales manager as they're selling bikes unfit foe the road. Imagine your 17 year old daughter or son, coming picking up their first bike off these guys, you may not know what you're looking at, you aren't safe trusting these. I'd hate to see anyone get hurt by buying a secondhand bike off these.
Also want a bit of hygiene training, toilets were filthy and not even any toilet roll. Disgusting, walked down the road and used another companies toilets instead.
**UPDATE** General Sales Manager rang, hasn't even been to look at the bike, didn't check all the issues I pointed out and is still happy to sell the bike as is...

Just taken possession of my used Triumph Speedmaster 2019 from CMC.
From the start excellent customer service from Martin and Ian. They both answered all my questions about the deal and part exchange of my Triumph America which I received a reasonable price for.
All quick and easy for the finance.
Also a Lifetime Warranty of the bike as long as I own it and have it serviced with CNC. Can't fault that for Peace of Mind.

The attention is in the detail my ex-boss constantly told by me. Imagine you are the customer and you received this was another one of his favourites usually associated with slamming some work I hadn’t done up to his standard down on my desk. He may have been a bit pedantic, but he had a point.
Part 1
My first interaction with CNC was promising, good sales service, keeping me informed of the progress and even rang me up to say they’d found a broken bracket on the bike and there’d be a few days delay whilst they sourced & fitted the replacement. Good I thought at least they’ve done a thorough service & inspection. Then the bike was delivered.
It is a long story, but the bottom line was the bike was not as advertised, didn’t have the right keys and my gut feeling said there’s something wrong here, big time. I returned & rejected it with two hours of delivery. That’s the short story and by now CMC had both my p/x, my money, Sure they said we’ll lend me a courtesy bike whilst they sorted it out, but that bike wasn’t to my taste at all and overall I wasn’t a happy bunny.
All of the above this happened on a Saturday afternoon after I’d arranged the change in insurance and taxed (both of which I had to pay for), then CMC close on the Sunday & Monday. Okay we’re all entitled to time of, but that left me with two day to brood it over, get wound up over it and to start sticking pins in effigies of the CMC store!
And that attention to detail I mentioned? – Ignoring the fact the bike had some serious issues, it had been well cleaned & polished and looked good on the surface, but dig a little deep and in the ‘glove box’ so to speak there was an oily rag and bottle of some form of fluid left by the previous owner and both the top box and panniers had dried mud, leaves and other debris at the bottom of them similar to what would fall off the bottom of a pair of walking boots. Okay so clean out the top box probably isn’t specifically part of their 37-Point Comprehensive Check, but when you’re cleaning and polishing the rest of the bike you’d expect someone to at least open the top box & panniers to make sure they work, and, oh, it’s a bit dirty inside there, I’ll wipe it out. Or maybe not!
Part 2
It think I was entitled to be unhappy with CMC when they came back and maybe should have kicked up a right stink but their Sales Manager was good and ultimately did a deal on another bike that had been on my shortlist promising it’d be 100% inspected.
That arrived all nice & shiny, but remember that attention is in the detail, well one of the tyres was well below the correct pressure and there was a warning symbol on the dashboard saying the key fob battery was low. Okay, I know I easily fixed both, but both should have been checked & rectified before the bike was sent out, particularly the dashboard warning symbol.
My point is two fold (ignoring the suspect first bike). One is what do CMC actually do in their service & inspection. If they can’t be bothered to check something a simple as the tyre pressures, what else haven’t they done! The second is when the Sales Manager say, and we’ll inspect this one thoroughly and make sure it’s 100% and they don’t, well what faith does that give me in trusting anything else they say they’ve done.
Lastly I’ll repeat what my ex-boss said, if you were the customer and your received this …….. etc. Well this time I was the customer.
Just the job.
Booked my bike in for service & MOT. Checked the bike in on the day with courteous, natural service given by the service manager.
Bike was ready after the work had been completed exactly on time despite them being very busy.
Bike felt / rode really well post service - paperwork and service booked stamped and I was on my way. I will definitely be using these guys again.
Oh, and the cafe was great too!

CMC Cannock review. I recently bought my second bike from them and received a good trade in value from them against the Suzuki Vstrom I wanted. Simon was most helpful to go through all the bikes details, history and ran the bike so I hear the exhaust as I didn't want a noisy machine.

Bought a new tracer 900gt, had a letter from yamaha, stating a recall, CMC rang me and asked if I'd had my letter ,and did I know the bikes miles, I told them yes and the rough mileage as I was in work,
They would ring me when the part is in stock, no phone call so I toke the bike along with the letter to a yamaha dealer close to where I work, they couldn't do the recall as guess what !!! CMC have claimed they did it, it appears on my online service history, what miles are entered ? The miles I guessed to them on the phone !! ...

A truly excellent service received from CMC Cannock earlier this month. I’m really enjoying the CB1100 which was as perfect as described. The delivery and handover process was quick and simple and great aftercare by providing an additional key after the bike has been delivered. A truly five star service!
