Today 18/9/20 i purchased a 2nd hand Tracer 900 from the cannock branch ,I was looked after by Simon Jones sales i have to say in all my years of buying vehicles and i an 71 i have never felt so satisfied with the service i have been given dealing with Simon was an absolute pleasure, from step 1 to the finish was nothing but proffesional, curtious, friendly, and respectful, i would highly recommend C.M.C Cannock to any genuine prospective buyer .
Customer service????
I bought a bike from them which went fine, I then had a tracker and USB port fitted.. This is where the trouble starts. One of these things is killing the battery.
I called them and was told to call back the following week as they don't have a loan bike at the moment (seems doubtful but ok). Following week I call back this time he's busy and will call me back in a couple of minutes.. 2 hours later I try calling.. No answer.. Another hour still no answer.. Try again 2 times 30 minutes later and straight to answer phone again.. So I withhold my number and get an answer this time!! Coincidence?? Again still no spare bike and for me to call back in a week..

From the start of the bike purchase process, through to bike pick up the staff at CMC Clay Cross were exceptional. Initial contact with Ross was professional, with call backs made when agreed and being greeted by my name when visiting was a great touch. Paul dealt with my purchase and could not have been more polite, friendly and customer focused. The guys went above and beyond to ensure my bike was pdi'd, serviced and MOT'd. On my arrival for collection the bike was spotless, well presented and handed over with the minimum of fuss and a considerable box of original parts.
The showroom had excellent social distancing measures with ample sanitiser for use. Both the male and female toilets, used by my wife, were very clean. Given that we arrived at 9:30 on a Saturday, the showroom and shop were surprisingly busy, which I found a reassuring sign of trust and customer experience.
Despite this store being a good 4 hour drive to get to, it would definitely be my first choice for another bike. Overall 10/10.

CMC sold me the wrong parts for my BMW 750 GS. Still after 2 months and 24 emails it is STILL not resolved.
If I'd just bought off eBay or Amazon I'd have received months ago with simple return if there was an issue. Will never use CMC again.

Unacceptable service!
I have to say when my partner brought a MT125 from the coleshill branch we were both convinced that CMC would take complete care of him and the bike. This is not the case. Their customer service has bee beyond poor! He has had the bike for 6 months and had 4 major issues with the bike! This has now rendered it unusable and he is a key worker!! Out of the 4 issues only 1 had been rectified which took almost 2 months to do so. The first issue started just a month after the purchase. I have to say the overall customer service of this place is a joke and they have no concern for the people that ride off on their bikes. Currently have 3 major issues with the bike which he now cannot use to get to work. He supply healthcare and ppe to hospitals and care homes. And cmc so not care to fix these issues!!!

Recently purchased a bike at CMC Manchester and had it delivered by the guys a couple of days later. Helpful staff (Chris Whitehead) who sorted out my test ride the week before Christmas and the deal was done. Bike delivered on Christmas Eve by their helpful delivery driver. Great service all round and very happy with my purchase. Thank you all at CMC.

This was my 1st dealings with cmc motorcycles and i must say the
service you get from the team there is 1st class. Having seen an fjr
1300 advertised i rang initially at 1pm on a sunday afternoon .After
speaking to Chris he arranged for the shop to stay open to view
m/c as i was 100 mile away but i agreed to go through and arrived at 4pm as they were closing but true to Chris,s word he kept open
to go through the bike with me.
There was no need to look for long as the bike was just as described perfect.

With the added Xmas bonus of £200 voucher to spend win win in my eyes, top class service will be spreading the word in the South West area

Can highly recommend Chris Whitehead and CMC Manchester following my purchase of a new bike, got a good deal on the bike, free £200 jacket and free delivery by Chris himself after work as he knew I needed it for Monday.
The shop also has a great clothing/accessories dept.

I recently purchased a BMW S1000RR from CMC Manchester.
The bike was listed on Autotrader and so I made an enquiry and spoke to CMC Manchester and spoke with the sales advisor Chris Whitehead. From this initial call with the sales advisor until the final moment when I collected the bike, I was treated with the utmost courtesy and respect. Every part of the sales process was thoroughly explained and all avenues of funding the sale were discussed in detail.
If you’re looking for your new bike, I would highly recommend that you visit CMC Manchester and speak with Chris Whitehead, as my experience is been totally faultless.

They took my bike in for some minor repairs and to do an MoT
They had the bike for 10 days, didn't do everything I asked them to, their communication was dreadful, staff were constantly (not in the office) their mechanic couldn't put tyre inserts in and they charged me a small fortune and had the nerve to tell me they'd given me a discount. However, what's absolutely unforgivable is that they botched the MoT
A few days after I got the bike back I took it to another garage to have an annual service. While there they spotted 3 faults that should have failed the MoT.
1] Blue light, not road legal, should have been spotted just by turning the damned lights on.
2] Worn brake piston. At minimum should have been an avisory
3] Most seriuously, a sticky throttle. Instant fail.
They releasd the bike to me in a condition that could have caused me to crash.
So, either no MoT was carried out (how the hell can you miss a blue light on a visual inspection) or they're completely incompetent.
I contacted Clay Cross who eventually got back to me to give them a chance to explain. Basically told to GTF. Oh our mechanic has 30 years experience. It's a value judgement, he thought it was OK. Yeah, really? What about the blue light, that a value judgement too?
Reported to the DVSA. I wouldn't trust these muppets to put training wheels on a toddler's bicycle.

I can only assume you dropped the ball on this one. Not acceptable. It's my life we're talking about. You returned the bike to me in an unroadworthy condition. It's as simple s that, then had the nerve to tell me that it was "a value judgement"? Oh you also missed a faulty radiator switch. I've bought bikes off you over the years and never had a problem, always in great condition at a reasonable price, fantastic, but your returning my bike in that condition has shaken my confidence in your ability not to do the work, but to monitor your mechanics and hold them accountable when, on rare occasions, they completely screw up. One final thing, it should be noted it's taken Clay Cross so long to reply to this complaint that I've sold the bike. We're talking 7 months ago,. Says it all really.
