Good Precise & Clear service
Very easy to get started with the Teams app. Kelly Armstrong was our video call advisor and dealt with all our wishes in a professional and informative manner. I would highly recommend Gain Gill for his outstanding service and professionalism. From the moment we met, he was kind, knowledgeable and understanding and it was clear that he genuinely cared about helping us and our family.
Discussing later life planning and power of attorney can be quite daunting and it is not always easy to know where to start. Gain took the time to explain everything clearly, answer our questions and make sure we felt comfortable and understood the options available to us. We never felt rushed or pressured and his approach was both reassuring and compassionate.
What really stood out was that Gain genuinely seemed to care about us as people, rather than simply seeing it as a job. His patience, empathy and professional knowledge made what could have been a difficult conversation a much more positive experience.

A big thank you to Tom at Co-op Solicitors for all his help with the probate process following the loss of my dad. It has been a long and stressful journey, and dealing with everything after losing a parent is never easy.
I’m really appreciative of the help and support provided throughout the process. It has taken time and there have been stressful moments along the way, but I’m relieved that everything has finally come together and the property sale has been completed.

We had a meeting with Mrs Amrita Bhamra…
We had a meeting with Mrs Amrita Bhamra today and as we are Computer Illiterate we struggled to join the meeting so Amrita Telephoned us and we proceeded. We are older people and she was very Kind and Patient with us. She explained everything precisely and if we didn't hear properly, she repeated it again. Easy to use. Paige Anderson was excellent.
It was easy to complete the form online indicating my requirements, I was then able to book in a call with a will writer to go through everything. I had a call with Paige Anderson who asked me some questions and confirmed my will requirements. It said to allow 1 hour, but we were done in 10 minutes. Paige was professional and efficient and explained the process well. I was then sent a draft will and commentary to review a few days later. The service was easy to use and I would recommend it to others.

Having had a great experience with…
Having had a great experience with arranging our cremations we decided to book a telephone meeting to review our Wills and taking advice on any further requirements.
Whilst the initial telephone meeting seemed to go well, we paid for our suggested requirements and felt that our experience with arranging cremations would continue with the Legal department. Unfortunately, this was not the case for the following reasons.
I was given the name of the case handler to contact for advice and answers to questions, submitted by email. Automatic reply says I will try to get back to you within 5 days? What business can survive when it takes this amount of time to respond to issues. I then tried ringing the office, I hold on for around 5 mins and then request a call back. The quickest was 35 minutes the longest 125 minutes and invariably they contact the case handler who requires 5 days to respond or contact me. The adviser who chaired the telephone meeting was supposed to ring me back on two occasions and didn’t. I then find out he no longer works for the Co-Op.
There was also misinterpretation regarding Trust types and understanding of how they work. You’re the experts this left me confused and unsure of how they work. As a customer I’m looking for your guidance in such matters
I have suggested that a User Guide would help customers navigate your procedures especially with the use of Docusign. Your organisation appears to be grossly understaffed to meet customer requirements especially the time it takes for a response.
Whilst there are several positive reviews if customers do decide to go with the Co-Op I would recommend they only pay a minimum amount of the agreed cost. Retaining money and paying on successful completion may give the legal department some motivation to complete quicker , to a higher standard and instil the importance of customer care/satisfaction.
