It’s a good experience
I know the store is in a bit of a turmoil but it was still good to walk around. Staff are friendly but not pushy.

Really helpful & easy to deal with
Really helpful staff, directed us to the furniture which would be most suitable based on our circumstances. Once we found what we wanted the process for ordering and arranging delivery was fast & efficient. I was made to feel very welcome…
I was made to feel very welcome (greeted at the door by Mandy).She listened to my request(for a reclining chair)and showed me a whole range of possibilities for my needs.I liked the fact she left me to try many but was close by to answer my queries about the ones now on my “short list”At no point did she pressurise me to make a final decision and was incredibly knowledgeable about the huge range available.
At age 84 I can’t recall when I last had such excellent Customer Service-and will certainly be back to visit Cousins in Newcastle under Lyme.(Am in a retirement complex and have told many fellow homeowners about this store already!) I will gladly add to this after my delivery in 6-8 weeks.

Not happy with Hypnos spring bed…
Not happy with Hypnos spring bed base.Low quality high price.seemed not fit For purpose it did not support mattress caused my back to dip. Cousins refused to exchange for a firm base.Seemed shady when ordering it.Their computer would not put order through, they put order through separate special. I Won't buy there again. Customer Service determined not to help me with a simple exchange.

Following your concerns, we arranged for an independent technician to carry out a full inspection of your Hypnos sprung divan base. During the visit, a comprehensive structural inspection was completed, including framework, support, pressure, lay and straight-edge tests. The technician confirmed that the base was fully supporting the sprung unit as intended and found no manufacturing defects or faults. As the inspection concluded that the base is performing to the manufacturer's specifications, we were unfortunately unable to offer an exchange under the terms of the warranty.
We appreciate that this is not the outcome you were hoping for, and we're sorry that you remain dissatisfied. However, our decisions are based on the findings of the independent inspection to ensure they are fair and consistent for all customers.

A superb range
A superb range - easily one of the largest selections of furniture to be found anywhere in the Midlands. Good prices too. We shopped at the Dudley store over 20 years ago and they still have the best choice. Delighted with our 2026 purchase and looking forward to seeing it in our new home. The very friendly Haz helped me to buy a three piece suite in store. His advice was very good. He was pleasant without being 'pushy'and I came away with exactly what I wanted.
