My wife is prone to falling and this watch meets our needs. When a fall is detected the device doesn't contact an remote monitoring service but informs me; if it gets no response it contacts other family members until someone does respond.

In three years of use I have experienced a few technical hitches and an administrative problem with monthly payments, but the helpline has always been easy to contact and very prompt and helpful in correcting matters.

In "sensitive" mode, the watch is a little too sensitive, but I would prefer a false fall alert to no alert, so can live with this.

I am not aware of any other device that offers the benefits of this one and I doubt that other companies offer the same level of friendly, helpful and personal backup.

Was considering a button alarm which is worn around the neck but this did not really suit our needs. After a bit of research we found the CPR Guardian Pro + watch, which is the ideal product for our requirements. We chose the Gold subscription, which includes connecting to a Call Centre in the event of an emergency. Spoke to Chelsea and to Steve over the phone on a number of occasions to ensure that the watch is set up correctly and that the Call Centre are supplied with all the relevant details - emergency contacts, details of health condition, medications taken, key safe pin number, etc. This gives great peace of mind. Very happy with the service we received from Chelsea & Steve, both very helpful. Have not had occasion to use the alarm button as yet. Otherwise the watch seems to be a good piece of equipment. Only down side is that the watch can easily fall off of the charging unit so you have to make sure that it does not move off, and the other down side is the cost of the Gold Subscription which is much higher than we had anticipated.

After some setup we have found the cpr guardian great for piece of mind and checking in on our mother in law. Fall detection is great and the watch is comfortable. Touch screen is a little fiddly but for our needs its not really needed as we call the watch anyway. Calls are clear and loud. App works well after configuration. Interface is clean and simple. Before purchasing, I recommend checking (with cpr) cell coverage in your area. Overall, after configuration (and cell triangualation settling) it works well. Well worth £20 per month.

Great Product and provides peace of mind with your loved ones. Easy to use and set up and the three levels of sensitivity are really useful depending on the user.

Finding the watch works well, my wife has Alzheimer’s and it’s gives me confidence to know that I can keep up with her when out.

Appalling Customer Service
I purchased this watch as it appeared to tick all the boxes. I live in France and fully discussed whether it would work ok and I would still get help from UK, all confirmed, it would cause no problems. Watch delivered to my daughter in Wales and brought to France . I paid for set up which is done but the watch didn’t work. After many many unsuccessful phone calls, the numbers only connect very occasionally, possibly because I am in France but this was fully understood at time of purchase and deemed “not a problem if you have 4G and fibre, and emails which bounce back, i was told wrong Sim in watch as I was in France and they would sort it. 10 days later still waiting to hear from them. Very upset and disappointed. Where is this fantastic service? I have a useless watch and am paying for the Silver plan and cannot get through to anyone to get help or my money back. Maybe someone will call me now. It’s a shame because the watch seemed my perfect solution.

Watch tuned up and nothing works and is all in Chinese. Downloaded the app tried to use the quick set-up guide to set it up but links on website don't work so called customer service several times with no response finally got a call back but the person from there company could not help so was told to return the watch and I would receive an email with the return details. This was 4 days ago and no email . Save your money and look elsewhere this is a cheap Chinese watch that dint work

Absolutely rubbish had two watches signal very poor kept losing signal call center is shocking the attitude from the helper is terrible had to fight to get a refund and cancel the plan avoid at all cost go with medcare watch much better service and staff helpful cpr guardian shocking service- 10

After doing a fair bit of research into similar watches/alarms etc I came to the view that the CPR Guardian was the most fully featured available. Probably on the more expensive end but value for the features you get.

The primary features for me were:
Fully functional stand alone device (complete independence from any base station/phone etc, though this comes at the cost of a SIM contract)
GPS Location
Automatic fall detection
Continual calling until answered

I bought this for my wife who has become very ill and struggles a lot with mobility and falls and I cant always be there. The watch has been working well and has allowed her to call me multiple times when she needed help.

The automatic fall detection has not worked well for us due to the type of falls she has which are better described as slow dissents to the floor while holding onto something but not having enough strength to keep yourself stood up. When we turned it up to max it did detect things and worked as designed but was too sensitive. This feature seems like it could work well, just not for our particular situation.

A more defined „SOS“ button would help. My wife cannot see very well and she wears the watch on the left arm which she cannot control at all (so she cant bring it up to her face to see the watch better). The SOS button is exactly the same shape and size as the other button. While the SOS button is red and looks easy for an average person to press the target customer would surely benefit from something that felt different so they could easily find the right button by touch if they cant see it properly (eg night time, partially sighted, etc etc)

The silver surround on the watch face is easily scuffed and looks scruffy now. This is completely cosmetic and the watch works fine but leaving it as black (which it is underneath the silver paint/coating) would mean that any knocks etc did not show up so much. For a watch designed for people at risk of falling this seems a bit of a design oversight.

The app works but it looks a bit outdated and could do with a visual makeover. You can request heart rate and other readings to be done instantly and it tells you it did it but not what the result was which seems odd. At the end of the day though the critical functionality does work. I use it mainly to check if I need to charge the device, having it SMS me when the charge was low (eg 30%) would be extremly helpful.

I had help from the online chat before purchase to clarify a few points and ended up speaking to two separate agents. I was very impressed how helpful and knowledgeable they both were and they definitely helped me to decide this was the device I wanted to proceed with.

We have had the watch a could have months now and I am extremely pleased with the purchase. It has given my wife more confidence that she can get help if needed and has given me more confidence that I can leave the house in the full knowledge that if she needs me its very simple for her to call me.

It's been about a month since we got my Grandad a watch from CPR Guardian, following my Nan's passing. Now living on his own, he tends to engage in activities he shouldn't. While we can't always be there to stop him, the watch provides us with peace of mind, knowing that he can raise an alarm if he gets into trouble.

The purchase process was straightforward. We started with the chat feature and then received a call to complete the transaction. Setting up the watch was a breeze, thanks to the user-friendly phone app, but we appreciated the initial setup assistance.

Grandad is adapting well to the watch, though he has a bit of difficulty with the strap. We're eagerly waiting for the metal magnetic strap to be back in stock.

He's on the Silver plan, and the connection quality is fantastic.

Purchased directly from CPR. The sales team were excellent and the watch is great. i can check on dad to see where he is if i cant get hold of him as he does not and wont have a smart phone, he is 93, hard of hearing and i little unstable, with the watch i have some piece of mind that he is ok and safe at home if he is supposed to be.

Customer care was very good today. Needed clear steps to check set up was correct

I did some research on personal alarm watches with fall detection for my elderly father in law who had a bad fall the previous day.

I came across CPR Guardian, a Swansea based company, I live in South Wales, this was a good start. After reading the product details on the very comprehensive website I decided to telephone the company, I find it always much easier and more personal to speak with a person rather than faceless transactions on line.

My call was received by Jan, who was very friendly and helpful, explaining and confirming the features and benefits of CPR Guardian 3, which I had homed in on and read on the website. Jan also outline the SIM contract that was needed for the phone. Jan also offered me a 10% discount.

After explaining the watch to my father in law, to get his “buy in” to wear it, I called back to Jan the next day and placed the order for the watch and the sliver SIM contract. Once again Jan was very customer focused.

The watch arrive the next day and the set up was very straight forward. After a day or so I had a few questions and rang customer support. I spoke with Steve who was also very helpful providing precise answers to my questions.

The product is very stylish, slimline and well made. The customer service from Jan and Steve was exemplary.

I highly recommend CPR Guardian

I bought this watch for my mother and paid for the gold sim plan which included monthly well being calls which I thought would be good for her as she lives alone. She only received one call after me consistently badgering people on the helpline about it. I sent numerous emails which were ignored and the company continued to charge me £33 a month for a service I was not receiving. They eventually emailed me back advising that I would get a refund but they have not provided the amount promised and have went back to ignoring me. I would not recommend this company the gold plan is a scam. The watch also made my mum come out it a rash.

I have a Homecare company and came across this the advert of Guardian III watch. I was interested for my mother of 84yrs old who has recently had few falls and suffers from early dementia; once she was on the floor for 3 hrs. It was a worry when she was alone all day. I looked into this product and ordered for my mother. In the last 2 weeks she had couple of incidents of about to fall but managed to grab kitchen worktop, which set the SOS to me, and was I was able to go to her immediately. I shared this information with a professional colleague and a local GP who also ordered. The local GP has seen other benefits as the watch takes temperature and heart rate, which saves a GP visit for a frail person and quicker diagnosis. I am going to promote this product through my business as we look after frail and vulnerable and some clients with dementia; it will give some peace to the families of the clients.

Purchased the watch for my mum who has dementia. She has always been extremely active and loves to do her daily walk but more recently it has become a worry for us. So the watch has been a godsend with the gps locator. She can continue with her walking and we are safe in the knowledge that we know where she is at any point in time. Love the step counter as well. It has all the other great features which thankfully we haven’t needed to use. As a family we are very pleased with the watch.

Après l achat pour ma mère, j'ai rencontrer des difficultés avec la mise en route avec un mode d emploi pas au top et pourtant je possède une Garmin Fenix 6 que je gère facilement. Après la mise en route sur le portable achat du forfait pour suivre sur mon mobile et la un grand
remerciement pour l abonnement, sauf que impossible de faire la mise en route. La montre sonne pour rien sans chute , le cardio affiche 10 a 15 pulsation que ma Garmin et resté régulièrement en dessous de 50 pulses.envoi de mail pour avoir une aide avec les explications et le délire attente de réponses et quand ils répondent ils prennent même pas la peine de lire il réponde a côté. Pas de réponse au téléphone .
Bref un sav pas a la hauteur ,Ali express et 100 fois meilleur désolé de le'dire.
Du coup j ai renvoyé ma montre et je vais arrêter mon abonnement,si ils déigne répondre.
