What a beautiful show home at Eccleston park Backworth. Stunning set up, aesthetically pleasing and overall decorated to a very high standard. Told many friends and family it's definitely worth a visit if they're interested in buying a house especially a cussins one too.

Lauren was so lovely and helpful going above and beyond.

The dates to move weren't ok for us as a family. Bit disappointed really.

The Eccleston Park site was lovely and Lauren was really helpful, talking me through what homes are left to purchase. Unfortunately there were no suitable homes for me but I’ll definitely look at other Cussin homes.

We have visited a few new developments recently, today visiting Summerson Place was exceptional. Carole was welcoming, listened to our requirements. We visited again later in the day, to ask more questions, look at the properties again and Carole gave us the information we needed and nothing was too much trouble.
The Cussins Homes are finished to a high specification and suitable for modern living, we can't wait to move in.

I recently visited Summerson Place in Darlington and had a really good experience, largely thanks to Carol, who was incredibly helpful throughout. From the moment I arrived, the place felt welcoming and well looked after. Carol went out of her way to make sure I had all the information I needed and was happy to answer any questions, no matter how small. She was friendly, easy to talk to, and clearly knew her stuff, which made the whole visit a lot more relaxed and straightforward. It’s always nice to come across someone who genuinely cares, and Carol definitely made a great impression.

We recently had the pleasure of dealing with Carol, the sales advisor at Summerson Place, and we cannot praise her enough. From our very first visit, Carol was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us find the perfect home. She guided us through every step of the process with patience and professionalism, answering all of our questions and making what could have been a stressful experience feel seamless and enjoyable. Her attention to detail and clear communication made a real difference, and it's clear she truly cares about her clients. Being local to the area I was extremely interested in the Eccleston Park development in backworth and decided to pop into the sales office to make enquiries. From day 1 Lauren has been a breath of fresh air and has made the entire experience as simple and care free as possible. She was able to recommend a great estate agent to list our current property and her expertise in the property market have helped every step along the way. We have now reserved our dream home and look forward working with Lauren when making our choices over the coming months. Thanks again Lauren for all your help.

We are in the process of purchasing a home at the Summerson Place site in Darlington and, although we haven’t yet completed, I wanted to share how exceptional the service has been so far.

From day one, the communication has been outstanding. Carol Norman has kept us fully updated on the build progress, even sharing photos along the way. Those updates have not only been helpful but have genuinely added to the excitement of the journey.

Buying a home is never without stress, and our process has been no exception. The week of exchange, our buyer unexpectedly pulled out — an incredibly difficult moment. Carol’s support during that time was second to none: understanding, reassuring, and proactive. Incredibly, we managed to secure another buyer the very same day, and Carol and the rest of the team did everything within her control to keep things moving. She has consistently gone above and beyond, liaising with solicitors and estate agents to ensure the process progressed as smoothly as possible.

This has undoubtedly been one of the most stressful experiences we’ve gone through, but the professionalism, dedication, and support from Carol have made all the difference. We’ve felt looked after every step of the way, and that level of service deserves recognition.

Although we’re not at completion yet, I can confidently say the experience so far has been outstanding.

Just bought my first house through Cussins at Summerson Place. Really happy with the service I have received, specifically from Carol and Keith, the site manager. Buying your first house can be a scary prospect, but I was kept well informed and updated throughout the build, from foundations to completion. So far, the quality seems really good, and any small snagging issues have been sorted in a timely manner. Overall, I would absolutely recommend Cussins to anyone looking for a new build without having to worry about the quality of the finish.

Carol Norman was a star! Helped us choose all fixtures and fittings, followed up on delivery and generally kept us in the picture every step of our move and settling in. Keith (site manager) was also great, helped us with all of the working of the house and was always there for us when we had a question about heating etc. Also helped us move lots of poor soil and rubble from our garden. We had a great experience buying our first home, Carole was amazing who looked after us.

We had a regular updates and photos of the build, the finishes were all of a great quality. Any teething issues were sorted out within the week once we had moved in.

We have had a fantastic experience buying from Cussins. Carol was fantastic and answered any questions we had promptly. The workmanship of the house is to a high specification and any small snagging issues (which is expected of any new build) were dealt with amazingly quickly! Would highly recommend!

We’ve had an amazing experience with Cussins so far! The process has been so smooth. It has been amazing to watch our house being built. We can’t wait to make it a home. We loved all the options Cussins provide and found that the standard and variety was miles better than all the other builders we have looked at.
Lauren has been super helpful and made us feel at ease buying our first home giving us lots of updates along the way.
