Great buy
Very happy with the dehumidifier. I could tell the difference in the room straight away and it's very easy to use. So far I've used the sleep mode (it does make some noise but it doesn't bother me, although I am a light sleeper). The laundry mode is very handy as it helps clothes to dry faster. Some may find it somewhat heavy to carry upstairs - downstairs (about 10kg). Overall, a great purchase.

Poor response on safety concerns
We ordered 4 of these heaters within a short period. In under a year one of them almost burned down one of our offices. Devola were extremely difficult to deal with when we raised a complaint with various conflicting communications. Finally they told us they would inspect all 4 units but if any were found not to be faulty we would be liable for a charge. Very poor response to a serious safety concern

We're very sorry for the concern and worry this situation caused. We'd like to reassure you that the safety concern you raised was taken very seriously, and as soon as we fully understood the nature of the issue, we arranged for the heater to be collected so it could be properly investigated.
The matter was handled personally by the same member of our team throughout. As the correspondence developed and further people became involved, there was some uncertainty around how many of the four heaters were believed to be affected. We appreciate this made the situation more complicated and we're sorry for any delay due to confusion while we worked to establish the details and arrange the appropriate next steps.
As one heater had presented a suspected fault, this could of course be treated and investigated as a faulty unit. For the remaining heaters that hadn't presented the same issue, we explained that they could also be inspected, but that a charge may apply if they were subsequently found to be operating correctly.
We completely understand why you raised your concerns and we're sorry if the communication surrounding the process left you feeling that the matter wasn't being treated with the seriousness it deserved. Customer safety is extremely important to us, and we acted as quickly as we could once the circumstances were clear.

Smart looking heater
I’m giving a four because I haven’t yet had opportunity to test it in cold weather. In fact, I put it on for the first time this morning as the temperature was a lot lower than it has been. Set at 21 degrees C it quickly warmed the conservatory in the time it took to make coffee and breakfast. The conservatory was 16 degrees before I turned on the heater. So far impressive so let’s see what the winter months will hold. A friend has already asked me for details.

Very straightforward ordering process and product arrived the following day. Excellent service! Delivery guy never checked to see if anyone was at home (which they were) and just left the panel heater in the open garage. This was sort of OK with us, but could have been better!
