Mr Singh talked us through all the information and helped us. He was extremely knowledgeable on the products and we selected a new suite. Very pleased, very friendly man with great personality.

My wife and I recently visited DFS Colchester and had a great experience. Grant, the sales assistant, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful without being at all pushy. He gave us plenty of time to browse and make our own decision, which we really appreciated.
Grant also took the time to have a friendly chat with us about how long we'd lived in the area, which added a lovely personal touch to the experience. Overall, the customer service was excellent, and we felt comfortable and well looked after throughout our visit.
We'll definitely be returning to DFS in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Colchester store. Thank you, Grant, for making our furniture shopping such a pleasant experience

The consultant we spoke with in store was very friendly. He helped us take measurements and made suggestions regarding the range we were looking at.

I was looking to purchase a cuddler chair for our snug.
Emma and Mabs were extremely helpful and showed me the wide variety of cuddlers they had in store.
I went with the New Studio Boucle Motion Cuddler Chair, as I didn’t want to purchase a footstool.
I could not have asked for a better service.

We were greeted by a lovely member of staff called Tarlock. He was very welcoming and helped us throughout our visit. He was very understanding and talked us through everything that we needed to know.

I bought two sofas in the store, got an email saying they were in stock and would be delivered one week later.
Late afternoon on the day before delivery I had my existing furniture removed and then received a phone call saying actually one of the sofas wasn’t in stock and so only the two seater would be delivered. The other one will be more than a week later. Absolutely rubbish service, how can the warehouse not know for 6 days that they can’t fulfill a delivery!

We visited the DFS store in Colchester and had an outstanding experience thanks to Mabs. From the moment we arrived, he was friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. He knew every detail about the products we were interested in and was able to answer all of our questions with confidence.

What really stood out was how well he listened to our needs and preferences, rather than simply trying to make a sale. His honest advice and genuine understanding of what we were looking for made the whole process feel easy and enjoyable, and it gave us the confidence to go ahead with our purchase.

The level of customer service was exceptional throughout, and we left feeling valued and very happy with our decision. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we would highly recommend Mabs and the Colchester DFS store to anyone looking for excellent service and expert advice.

We were made to feel welcome. All our questions were answered and Chris was very helpful. We weren't pressured and were given time on our own to discuss colour etc. The ordering process was also very efficient.

Clearance item I was interested in was missing the remote, battery pack and charger, meaning its full functionality couldn’t be realised. Sales staff listened, were proactive in sourcing the missing kit and the sale was made. DFS have cleared a returned item and I collect next week. Excellent Customer Service. Very happy.
