It's been a while since I purchased anything from Eastwood but came back from the good quality of product and and other merchandise I've purchased in the past.

I have had multiple failures of the start/run capacitors, controller and limit switch. The May 2022 fix included an updated controller and limit sw and I've replaced oil and filters as spec'd as well as PURCHASED the "recommended" water bottle and auto drain kits to drain H2O from the oil and minimize condensation in the tank and yet the unit has failed again, on a late Friday night when it was seeing no use just filling the tank and their gone for the weekend. It's not bad enough that customers have to install replacement parts, even replacing the QST 30/60 as was done the first time it was up to the customer to get this 400lb beast back on a pallet and in it's original shipping crate and prep for freight pickup to return as was the case with the first failure, since then it's been parts only. I will say they haven't charged me for replacements, I think this latest makes 6 failures of the first replaced unit, that's like 6 to 7 failures in about 3 years... I'm hoping Monday or sooner ha ha I'll get a call informing me that the unit is either poorly engineered and given a full refund for all expenses to date or a lemon which will be replaced by a quality unit or equivalent substitute but I'm not confident of any satisfactory mitigation of the issue and am hesitant to continue doing business with a company that sells such inferior products. I'll buy from Harbor Freight first if that's the case a lot of the same tool sources for less $$.

Completed Mr. G's welding class in Hackensack, then started looking for a welder... not too big, not a toy, but just right. Got the Eastwood 180, does MIG gas/no-gas and includes a spooler for aluminum, is also 120/240 for maximum flexibility. Shipped in 1 day! So far I love it. Lots to learn but I don't think I'll out grow this.

There was a fraudulent charge on my PayPal for $400 fit an item shipped to Texas (I'm in Australia) contacted then multiple times, no response

More tools…more money. Ordered a solid river kit. Came 2 days later. I have never had a bad experience with these guys and I have ordered a lot of stuff from them. Even had to send back a small welder because I wasn’t 100% satisfied with the process. I will continue to look here first for any future goodies that I just have to have. Keep up the good work guys and gals.

I was able to easily order the powdercoat gun. However it said there would be a free stand that came with it but just the gun showed up. Kind of disappointing!

Ordered a tool from eastwood. Shipped very quickly. Looks and feels like very good quality. Have not had time to use but have no doubts
