I have had 4 dehumidifiers over the years, all of them from Ebac-the first being a Homedry XL in 1988, followed by a Homedry 880 in 1996 and a 6000 series in 2005 which has just stopped working after 20 years. They have all been well built and reliable and so I have now purchased a Series 4000 model 4650e which is doing l its job well. The new display screen on the top is useful showing current settings using coloured symbols.
I am very pleased with this new model just as I have been with the others and would recommend to anyone thinking of purchasing a dehumidifier.

This machine seems to fall below the quality I have come to expect from eBac, because:
1. There is no proper filter on the rear.
2. It left water over the floor the other night, which spilt from the tank after it had filled to the top. This suggests it is fitted with cheap, unreliable sensors.

Prefer to order the dehumidifier straight from the manufacturer as the service was easy to order and a excellent price including delivery & Ext Warranty.

Easy to order on the website.Found the product I was looking for and ordered it. It arrived in good condition,on time. The dehumidifier I bought was plugged in straight away and is at this moment working perfectly doing the job it was supposed to do.Can’t fault the product.

Chose Ebac for a dehumidifier as they had a good range and also are made in Britain. Ordered via the website and the delivery was very quick. The unit works very well and has a smart feature on it. I did have issues linking the dehumidifier to the app on my phone, but after watching a YouTube tutorial it was done with ease. Highly recommend this range of dehumidifier’s.

This is by far the best dehumidifier I have had. It’s literally as easy as switch to smart and go!

2nd purchase and both went well without problems, excellent equipment and working perfectly.

For starters, the ordering and delivery process, direct from EBAC was seamless. The dehumidifier was well packaged, with the attached info leaflet informative and simple to comprehend. It was also satisfying to note that the warranty etc was already activated hy EBAC.
Things only got better once we actually started the device almost immediately. We recently moved to a 17th century, lime wash rendered end of terrace cottage, and have become increasingly aware of moisture issues, particularly on internal bedroom walls. The amount of water removed from the environment is astonishing, with damp areas being almost completely negated, in both first and second floor rooms. Similarly the amount of condensation on wooden bedroom sash windows in the mornings is now almost non existent.
The Smart control system is also a real bonus, with hopefully a cost effective and efficient means of tackling the damp levels as and when they escalate.
We've only been using the EBAC for a couple of weeks, but so far, so fantastically good.

I recently purchased an Ebac dehumidifier, and it has been a total game-changer for my home. I ordered direct from the Ebac factory at Bishop Auckland, and as I live in Spennymoor only a few miles from the factory I was hoping there was an option to pick up the unit in person, but unfortunately there wasn't an option to do this in the ordering process. The unit had to be transported to Newcastle to be delivered by DPD at a later date. DPD did a good job of delivery on the correct date at the right time, and I also knew the name of the driver.
Because I purchased direct from the factory I was offered the 5 year warranty.

Very happy to buy British the main reason for purchase and support a British firm.
However despite reading other reviews about the spin cycle leaving clothes in need of a further spin adding more time to the wash decided to ignore and purchase. But am having same problem which is rather annoying. Trying to distribute clothing in drum in various ways in hope of solution. Apart from that am happy with machine.

I have owned an Ebac hot and cold 9kg washing since September 2019 so still in the seven year warranty. The machine failed on Saturday 21 March. I reported to Ebac at 9:30 on Monday 23 March. My call was dealt with efficiently and politely with the promise that a repair engineer would make contact in 24 to 36 hours. I received a call at 13:00 on the 24 March to arrange a visit. On 25 March The engineer arrived on time and had replaced the motor by 9:30 exactly 48 hours after I reported the fault. Absolutely superb service.

Extremely quick service for genuine filter. For an equally great product.
