I got hit with additional custom taxes after ordering my parts from ESSE before they were delivered by the courier company. This is not ESSE’s fault but it left a bad taste. If they had a warning on their website that orders from EU customers would incur additional custom charges then I would have expected this.

Shipping was ridiculously expensive for the small item I bought and it still took well over a week to come. I get that bigger items will command a bigger delivery, but this was a couple of wires. You should really sort this

Not good service! Phoned to check items I required and was given wrong information.
Items took weeks to arrive and arrived next day after continually telephoned to chase.
Then wrong item sent.

Excelleny company, went in as we were passing and they showed all around even though we hadnt booked. Learnt a lot about them and the cooker itself is fantastic. Thankyou.

Great that spares are available for our aga and this company is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. However I’ve deducted a star because P&P is far too expensive and cost much more than my order! It also took quite a while for my order to arrive. Otherwise I’d have given 5 stars.

Fantastic! Yes it takes longer for items to arrive than Amazon, but this is a small company. When the parts did arrive for our old EC, I had to give Esse a call for advice on how to fit them. Greg was extremely helpful, it's so refreshing to use a company with such good customer service and who produce such great products. The Esse EC we got parts for is now 24 years old and still running beautifully, and our 2019 Bakeheart is just as robust. They're not owned by a faceless American conglomerate like other range cookers, they don't stop parts availability when the cooker hits ten years old and they don't try to sell you a new one. Just a good old fashioned British company with a long heritage, producing the best products they possibly can.
