I HATE EUROLINES CUSTOMER SERVICE IN PARIS!! I LOST 449.50 EURO TO THEM!

I did not make it on the bus and lost 449.50 euro.
Usually I use Flixbus, this was my first time to use Eurolines.
I paid 449.50euro for myself and 4 children to leave from paris to Zagreb.
I had no idea tickets had to be printed (I assumed it works the same as flixbus).

We arrived 2 hours early to insure we would not miss our bus only to be informed by the bus driver at boarding time I had to print my ticket.
Myself among many others who had no idea then waited a long time in line for customer service, I was told I had to print my tickets off of their computer which was another long wait in line with many others who were stressed, finally I tried but I could not. I returned to the first line only to be shouted at "go print your ticket!!!", I tried to explain to the woman on customer service I could not, she refused to listen to me raising her voice and shooing me to the next counter.
at this point things were becoming too much I was on the verge of crying, I went to the next line and waited to speak to another woman on customer service, when it was my turn the woman closed the blind on the window before I could step up, OK now I'm in tears, I had to accept they were not interested in helping as my children and I could only sit and watch our bus leave.

My partner re-booked us, stuff the Paris staff for eurolines we went back to flixbus, tickets were 320 euro.

I HATE customer service for eurolines in Paris! never before have I been left feeling so terrible.
I tried many times to contact the company but failed so finally for this moment this review is the best I can do. From my one awful experience through eurolines I strongly warn you to save your money and the stress and go with FLIXBUS.

The one star is only to write this review, from my experience one star is one too many!

I travelled with this company from…

I travelled with this company from Hannoverr to Paris. I have to admit this was quite a very good experience to me and my family. The bus excellent , was warm, wifi very good, and the drivers professional. I don't know why the reviews are so bad. Definitely I am going to travel again , it is cheap and convenient.

Totally agreed its been terrible experience

I took bus from London Victoria couch station to Amsterdam on 11th of February 2018. it was my first trip with that company .I used before plenty of times national express mega bus (such a good experience).
Eurolines drivers were polish (by the way i am polish too) but i never felt that embarrassed for my nationality. they weren't helpful, useful at all. its been 11 hours trip and they almost refused to open toilet !!! they didn't even informed us where is toilet or where we can plug our phones to charge!!people were very angry and annoyed. unfortunately i could understand everything what they say and its been very very sad and disappointing too me as i am polish too :(((( they didn't speak english even little bit , jesus !!! really, i would rather spend fortune and go different transport than that.
i wish them good luck and i am afraid soon they will become unemployment if they gonna keep that attitude.
NEVER AGAIN !

Worst service ever...DO NOT TRY THIS SERVICE !!!

Worst service ever...DO NOT TRY THIS BUS SERVICE EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO PAY DOUBLE FOR OTHER SERVICES.. The drive left me back at the border of France to UK while all the passengers got off the bus to get their passport controlled. he took all my stuff laptop , luggage and camera. and its been 2 months now and still no one replies or even answers my email. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS.. i had to pay a lot for taxi just to get to the UK from border and no one is even answering to me..

The driver called me a W HORE

I am disgusted by the service of eurolines. I am currently still on the bus. The drivers a lady and a man, both Polish. DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. I asked if I could go to the toilet in the bus even tho we were in the train because I had to go really bad an had just woken up. The driver kept telling me it’s down the road there. I told him it’s urgent, he goes on to his colleague saying “ KURVA this and KURVA that.” Little did he know I know that this means W HORE in polish. While I was standing next to him. I told him to not swear at me as I understand his rude language. He just laughed and kept eating his food.

this is the second time Eurolines provides drivers who do not speak English.. Last time they broke my luggage and refused to open the toilet as well. Bare in mind I travel from London victoria to amsterdam. 11 hours on a bus, with no breaks and no place for me to use the toilet.....

AND THEN THE DRIVER CALLS ME A W HORE FOR NO REASON........

If you think this service is okay, i’m confused. Not looking forward for the journey back.

How does anybody use this site?

Just getting started on the eurolines website is impossible - you have to discover where you can go by trial and error. Example: they say they can get you to over 90 cities in France. They don't tell you which ones. My search for various european city destinations has also proved totally fruitless.

You're on your own...

2.00 am in Nuremberg waiting for a bus (with two small kids). A bus that would never come. €100's spent as a result on last-minute alternative hotels and transport to make early morning commitments at our destination.

Eurolines response was (and I quote) 'it's not our problem'. And that was that. Nothing more from them.

ZERO reliablilty, accountability and, of course, ZERO customer service.

Looking on trustlipot though, this rubbish service from Eurolines seems commonplace. I have learnt my lesson.

Avoid at all *costs*.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CONPANY. STAY AWAY AND DON'T EVEN BOTHER.

My sister travelled with them several times between Paris and London and had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE every time. They are late 100% of the time and it usually between 1 and 3 hours (if they even turn up).

Here are a couple examples:

- journey from Hythe to London: delay of over 3 hours, with no phone call, no email or text to let us know. We called customer service over and over again, being on hold for hours. They were unable to track their own bus (!) and could not even tell us why it was delayed. Eventually it never turned up and they sent taxis to pick us up.....in the wrong place! You would think that they knew where their own bus stop is.... The taxi eventually found where we were and my sister arrived over 4 hours late.

- journey from Paris to London: the police stopped the bus in Calais and found a migrant in the laggage compartment (!!!!) which the bus driver had smuggled in. He got arrested by the police in Calais, whilst all passengers had to wait for another driver to come and continue the journey (3 hour delay). True story. As incredible as it sounds.

I don't think I need to say much more although we could go on (uncomfortable buses, rude drivers and terrible customer service).

This company is absolutely rediculous and should not even be licensed to operate.

If it were possible I would rate this company with 0 stars. The bus from Porto airport to Santiago de Compostela that I booked a ticket for online never came. I called Eurolines' so called 'emercency hotline' and waited for 15 minutes before someone picked up. She sounded bored and her English wasn't very good, so talking to her was a challenge. Then she put me on hold for another 15 minutes, only to tell me that she wasn't able to find out why the bus didn't come. No help with finding other transportation, no offer to pay for the hotel I now had to get because there was no way I could get to Santiago anymore, nothing. I wish I had read these reviews before I booked the ticket! I can only hope they will actually refund the money for the ticket...

Terrible! Stay away!

I have booked a bus from Geneva to Grenoble in 2nd of January at 20:00. I didn't see any bus arriving and at my surprise the clerk told me that there is no kind of bus that does this trip today and that the booking was on wrong day to begin with! The clerk told me to ask for a refund cause the ticket that they provided me was wrong. I got no information of any change I emailed to ask refund and they don't answer. I payed two times the price for the bus plus the taxi to the airport. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Terrible company.

Absolutely disrespectful and irresponsible people. Info desk is closed and we asked a driver from the same company, he said he has no idea about the bus he only knows he is going to Prague and he said in a sarcastic so bad the info desk is closed!!!
not strange you are getting worse and worse, it's your disrespect that drives you to the bottom.
I will never ever book with you again even if it was a free ride!!!!

The bus never came

The bus never came. No phone call to warn us. We waited there for 40 min and then called them. They just said that the bus was broken and that we need to rebook our tickets tomorrow morning but there will be no more bus on time. No communication at all !!! No refund either!!!

Don’t book online

Don’t book online. The bus and driver were fine, but when I got the bank statement they had charged me 3 times fr the one ticket. I tried to contact them by email, but they didn’t respond. I called at one of their local offices but was told I had to email them and wait 3 weeks for a reply. This is a shoddy way to run a company at best and a scam at worst.

WORST SERVICE EVER

WORST SERVICE EVER. AVOID USING THIS COMPANY. We rate it with a 1 because they don't let us select a zero.
We took a bus London-Paris the 23rd of December and then we were supposed to have 2 hours in Paris to rest before taking another bus Paris-Bilbao, both buses from Eurolines.
The first bus left with a 20 min delay. After around one hour of trip the driver stopped to refuel the bus which we can't understand why the bus didn't leave London with the tank full of fuel, anyway, this delay meant we lost the ferry and had to add an extra delay of +1.5h. We were very anxious as this meant we were not going to be on time to take the second bus to Bilbao and as a consequence would have to spend Christmas eve in a city that we don't even know. We asked the driver several times to call Eurolines and let them know about the delay but he ignored us completely, didn't care at all. He just said that once the ferry trip was over there won't be more stops. Once the trip on the ferry was finished,  the driver left without even realising he left 5 passengers at the port. So after 20 min driving he drove back to pick the passengers up and added an extra delay.
Incredible, after 45 min driving he suddenly stopped in a petrol station (when he told us before there were not going to be more stops!!!!) and said he might need to go back as the GPS was not working. All this situation was just a joke, how can you even hire a person who doesn't know the route!!!!!!
After complaining to the driver, in the end, a really nice French woman sat next to the driver and using her GPS we managed to get to the bus station.
However, all this situation supposed a very unpleasant and stressful trip.
We need to add that in the first bus the lights were not working, neither the sockets. We will never use this company again and will tell our story to as many people as we can  and will post it in our social media so that people is aware what type of company you are.

The service was awful

The service was awful! They arrived so late! The driver won't allow me to get in the bus because I don't have the paper ticket, meanwhile it has never been said to! The driver just watched me to get into the hotel nearby to print it, sady it didn't work. But the driver is very disturbing allow me in finally without the paper ticket. Is it on purpose that the driver in Eurolines serve the passengers as disturbing like this?

I waited an hour for my bus at 4am and it never showed up. All Eurolines Germany phone numbers I called to complain don't work. This company is TERRIBLE and probably illegal, at least in Germany.

Edit: I called Belgian Eurolines, and it turns out that German Eurolines is a completely unaffiliated company so they couldn't help me. Why are they allowed to share a name?! This is ridiculous!
