What a pike of junk …

What a pike of junk after having had a previous flymo for 20 years which was built well, sturdy, cut well and picked tgd grass up well compared to a new flymo easiglide 330 receny purchased there is absolutely no comparison. The new one is very flimsy cheap plastic. It sounds like it is going to blow up when using with a lot of vibration and hardly sucks up any grass just blows it around. Don't waste your money. I will never buy flymo again. Off to buy an aldi mower now.

Terrible and poor customer service

Terrible and poor customer service. Purchased the EasiStore 340 cordless mower. Terrible... lasts only 10mins and then takes 4hours to charge. Tried to get in touch to refund... no response. Spent £290 for a product that is not fit for purpose and don’t know how I can return for a refund as can’t get in touch with anyone. Poor! Hoping this review will find me some help and regain my faith in Flymo. Help! Louise from Scotland with a lawn that needs cut!

Bought a fly 300 Li lawnmower

Bought a fly 300 Li lawnmower. After 2 months one the batteries gave up. Luckily as I bought the item via Amazon the battery was replaced. However 7 months after purchase and limited use all batteries have given up. It is impossible to buy spare batteries. NO NOT BUY this product from Fly.

service and product rubbish

Bought a cordless mower model Easistore 340R Li early September 2020.after 5 uses on small lawn one of the batteries failed. Flymo service said batteries were on back order till end January 2021.managed to get one from another source. When used again may 2021 the other battery had failed. Again Flymo service said batteries were on back order min 3 weeks delivery.
Flymo service is abysmal and product is flimsy and rubbish.

useless

I ordered hose pipe bits, arrived promptly but they have got order wrong way round, emailed, phoned and emailed said would sort it but never did, when you phone or email you don't get customer service it goes to sales team who forward it to customer service department about as much use as a chocolate fire guard

Do not buy anything there products

Do not buy anything from this company, i bought a £900 Robot Lawnmower last year and this year after bringing it back out of storage doesn't work. i have tried to call and sent various emails all with no response. Now my years warranty is out but still no reply anyway.

terrible product even worse customer service

Each flymo i have bought has been flimsier and flimsier. Bought a Easiglide 330 hover which is badly made and the main plastic support brace sheared in half on its third use. I only have a small garden so it was not put under any pressure. Customer services never get back to you.

Useless products and useless customer service.

My Flymo mower and strimmer both broke after a couple of uses. One product breaking could be a one off - but two is unacceptable and more than a coincidence.

The products are still under warranty and I initially contacted them in May about the issue. Nearly 5 months later I still have not heard anything despite repeated follow ups.

Their products are useless and their customer service is non-existent. Do not buy from them.

Poor Customer service from Flymo

I ordered a Flymo powervac 3000 3 in 1 blower vac in April and after 3 months it stopped working. Since early July I contacted the Flymo repair team via email (address on website as no calls due to Covid ) and despite chasing up on a weekly basis for almost 2 months not had the courtesy of a reply. Fortunately I eventually contacted Amazon who I purchased the product from and they refunded within 24 hours. Whilst appreciative of the potential reduced staff numbers due the virus the lack of contact in this period is unacceptable.Service from Amazon first class.

Bought a flymo 1200R robot mower in…

Bought a flymo 1200R robot mower in 2019. Worked fine , Then "loop fault" occurred. Mower would not start.
Looked on YouTube for ideas, if you have a multimeter (ohms & volts) you can check out loop faults yourself.
However, my problem was in the charging station (base).
The Flymo support team were very helpful - sorted the problem in 5 days.. don't buy a cheap mower without good support. 5 stars for Flymo.

Flymo non existent customer services , not responding to email regarding faulty cordless mower .The sales department is open though .Thankfully i have arranged a return with Very.co .uk .I will never purchase a Flymo product again .

I bought a cordless trimmer which has parts missing which I can't use or get my money back. Been trying 3 weeks now

Shouted at & fobbed off

I have been shouted at, ignored and fobbed off for weeks. I purchased a lawnmower and strimmer duo, after a week and a half of no deliver, I called flymo who told me they had found out 5 days before that there had been an error in the warehouse and they had sold stock they didnt have available. When I asked when the product would be available I was told "we dont know" and so I asked for the money to be refunded as that wasn't a good enough answer. 3 days later I get confirmation the product is on its way. When I called flymo, they said they hadnt processed the refund and that I had to refuse the product in order to get one. I refused the product. I had to call them 2 more times and email them 4 times in order to get in writing that the refund was being processed. I then recieved an invoice through the post making me mistrust everything they had already said, to double check the refund was being processed I called again. I was firstly laughed at - my situation must be very funny - and then shouted at for asking why no one had responded to my requests (4 not including the multiple requests made over the phone) to speak to manager. When I asked for another contact number to speak to anyone else I was talked over and shouted at again. I cannot explain how bad the service has been from start to finish. We are still awaiting the return of £190 and I'm not embarrassed to say it has pushed me. If anyone has another number I can use to contact anyone from a senior level please let me know! Do. Not. Purchase. Anything. From. This. Company!

Strimmer 500-Wouldn't have bought it if I'd known

My previous strimmer - also a Flymo - gave me years of decent edge trimming but eventually gave up the ghost so I bought (during lockdown from Flymo site) a Flymo 500 strimmer.. There is another review on here I agree with totally which is the strimmer has a very stiff safety switch and so when lawn edging unless you take a very tight grip on the power grip ( after pressing the safety switch) it keeps cutting out. So tight in fact edging the lawn becomes a chore. as you have to keep such a tight grip on the switch to keep it from cutting out and I'm not a small guy.! . At first I thought it was a fault with the motor until I read the previous review with same issue..When it works it edges fine but has a design fault. Wouldn't buy another but 'Im stuck with this one now.

I’m writing this complaint here because I’m sick of ringing constantly to chase my refund!!

I am about to take this further because I am fed up!

Right so the 28th March I placed an order was promised it would be delivered nothing came for about 2 weeks so I had got my partner to ring for him to be told it was out of stock that really annoyed me because you had sold us a lawn mower that wasn’t even going to arrive and what’s worse you never told us. Was told to email for a refund I thought that was odd but did it anyway. 14days later no refund was given so I contacted again to be told you need to ask refund people if we would be accepted why wouldn’t we? You didn’t give us a product WE PAID FOR 😡 but anyway said you would ring back this was a few days ago and we have not heard anything so I’m now 69.99 down because you won’t refund me so I will be taking this further but my advice to anyone looking for a lawn mower please look into reviews and stay well clear of this awful company

Not entirely happy

Just bought a Flymo Easiglide 330. It has 4 cutting heights but when I used it for the first time I had it on the lowest setting and I couldn’t even see where I had been. I have had to buy a spacer to lower the blade. As the spacers are only plastic I think it would be better for them to be included in the box with the mower instead of having to buy them separately. The grass box is a bit flimsy and the mower doesn’t pick up all of the grass. It blows a lot to the side and I had to brush the paths when I had done. In its favour it is fairly light to use. I wish though that I had spent a bit more and bought the Ultraglide model which is the one I had before. If I had more grass I would have sent this one back and got the Ultraglide as the Easiglide is only a mediocre mower.
