I have dealt with Mitchell Max at the Frank Harris branch in Long Lane, London now on three different occasions whilst organising renting apartments within the Barbican estate. Each time I have been 110% impressed by his expert understanding of the process, educated, passion for and knowledge of the area and his friendly but professional demeanour.
Mitchell has great communication skills and kept me informed of all the updates I needed along the way, liaising regularly with either myself or my partner.
I would thoroughly recommend seeking him out if you are looking to be either a landlord or a renter within the EC2Y postcode but especially if you are interested in the Barbican!

Very vocal and helpful staff! They got me a couple of good options per week during August, which is the hottest season in the rental market. Charlotte, the manager I worked with, was super nice and come up with very good apartments both in terms of price and location.
The agents who do the viewings are never late, happy to discuss all the details of the property and answer any questions.

Excellent team over at Frank Harris / Barbican. Tirelessly managed to find a great tenant for my flat with many viewings. Professional from start to finish. Ask for Mitchell Max, he was diligent and persistent. Follow up has been amazing as well. Perfect choice for me as I was reviewing several options and glad I went with them.

Mitchell was so helpful and knowledgeable about the flats he was renting. Even though I didn’t end up renting one, I appreciate the effort he made to show me multiple Barbican flats.

Finding a nice home in London is a challenge… but not with Mitchell Max ! Best real estate agent I’ve had to work with so far , and I’ve seen a lot of them !

I would NEVER RECOMMEND this agency to anyone after what they did to me and my housemates. We used their service to find a three-bedroom apartment after 4 months of searching. We closed a deal, we paid rent and security deposit and signed a tenancy agreement a month before the move-in date. Everything was absolutely done by our side on time. As we had a signed agreement and a closed deal, all three of us had to give our notices from our previous accommodations, we had also scheduled deliveries for the move-in date and prepared everything needed. Five days before move-in date, I contact the agency to ask where can we get the keys from and what time should we be at the property. In response, they tell me that there is a minor problem with the landlord’s documentation and he is yet to sign the tenancy agreement, but there is nothing to worry about and it is just a formality. Of course, this comes as a huge shock to all of us as we have already paid everything and no one told us that the landlord hasn’t even signed the contract FIVE DAYS BEFORE MOVING IN. During these five days, the problem grew bigger and bigger. From “Don’t worry, it is not a big deal” it turned to “We can’t assure you that you can live in this property as the landlord does not have the proper documentation to give it out for renting”. Firstly, how can someone give property for letting without checking if it is legal? Secondly, not only that Franc Harris&Co did nothing about the problem, they claimed that this is not their fault and they won’t do anything about it. They left three people homeless in London and did not even care about it. This agency caused so much stress by their actions and could not care less. I imagine if we did move into the property how much more problems we would have as they started lying to us before we even lived there. If I could rate it with -10000 I would.

Frank Harris are outright lying to their clients, both; buyers and sellers. What they cannot handle is an educated client. Avoid, if you possibly can.

We asked for the house key for my wife. only one key was given and we have been mailing for 2 months. For your sanity, stay away.
