I was contacted by a sales rep for Freestart ,I was ver apprehensive on setting up an online website ansd told this to the advisor William. He re assured me that if o wasnt 100% happy i could get a full refund of fees paid .I went ahead on this pretext.
I was informed 10 days was all it would take and the transition would be smooth,,This has been far from the case ,I first found that the desig was taken by a junior designer ,Who copied and pasted all the wording from my present website onto the new ,
Also she went on to advise me that this ad that would not look right ??? i advised her that i was a business owner and had strong ideas of wha i wanted ,again the information was copied and pasted onto my 'NEW' WEBSITE .. i looked at the so called finished article and decided to ask for a change of pictures ..not amajor ask oyu would think,,,but it was made to be a big request by the team who requested further money ,I argued that it was a simple request of 2 extra photographs ,not a request to start again ,The business relationship became none workable ,and i received emails from a man called Wayne who told me the company had been ore than accommodating and that my request for photos was decined ,,, I argued my case and finally Suzanne from the company agreed to make the changes ,,,that sounds fab youd say ???welll no ,,,,,it didnt end there ,,,I sent and resent photos for a total of 8 times ,,,,,,all of which the y said had ot been received ,,,althoughid sent them to the link the company had provided ,, now im taking legal action ,,I NOW HAVE LOST TOTAL CONFIDENCE IN THIS COMPANY ,,GOT TRADING STANDARDS INVOLVED.and contacted the company for their press office as my Local radio station is interested in y complaint ,this company is running roughshod over small businesses like mine and need to be stopped ,DISGUSTED AND CARRYING ON THE FIGHT ON SOCIAL MEDIA ,

Fab as always
Liam has been a super star from start to finish - helping us to make sure we were happy and understood, and equally gave us time to have a think and talk between the management team to ensure we were all happy.
Loving our new website , and its been quite simple and easy to do.
The control panel not changing means that it doesnt mean more training for anyone - and its soo simple to use.
Really pleased we have trusted freestart for a long time, and they are listening to us all the time with suggestions.

Great service!
Pain free set up of 2 different e-commerce platforms simultaneously. I had very clear design branding that I wanted carried on to the website, which the desgin team did a great job of visualising. The back end of the e-commerce sites is pretty easy to get the hang of, as an eBay and Amazon shop owner the skills picked up in managing those shops were easily transferable.
Very helpful on-line guides to help with managing the website, with friendly staff on the end of the phone for any problems.
Great to have someone to touch base with too, shout out to Mike for all your help (and some great deals).

Freestart
Have used Freestart for our Web page for several years now and find them to be good value for money with an easy to use control panel which gives instant access and immediate updates.
Loads of add on features available - but it's not a problem if you don't wish to have them, the sales staff aren't pushy.
We've had lots of other companies trying to get our business, but none have offered the value and personal service that Freestart does, so we wont be changing.

I would like to share with anyone who is thinking of purchasing a Website from Freestart.com they are certainly the best company to have your website with.
They are all so very very helpful, they are there to guide you all the way with their wonderful friendly advise, they all care about the customer which to me is so important.They are a genuine honest company with all caring staff, this l can honestly say as myself for example have needed their advise on various things on my website.I highly recommend Freestart, you will not be disappointed, I am so pleased that Mike gave me a ring in the first place.

I find Megan to be extremely helpful during the redevelopment process of my website.
There were things I was unsure about, and at every step of the process, she would assure me not to worry, because everything she said would be done correctly.
If I was not happy with anything, she would give me the opportunity to state my views, and advise me accordingly.

I cannot fault the support I receive from Freestart. I manage my website but very often I come across a problem on how to execute certain procedures, for example inserting a photograph, positioning it, enlarging it etc, A telephone call and I am within a few minutes talking to a member of the support team who either talk me through it or very often I send photographs through to them and tell them what I want and they do it for me. I also have a young lady who is my personal support. She phones me on a regular basis to ask how I am and whether I am happy with the website and whether it is working for me. I recently had a new platform. Again, we talked it through together and they did everything I asked for. Talking to my colleagues who have other website hosts companies, I really do feel I have the best value for money and the best most efficient support.team.

Recent upgrade of website
I have been with freestart for over five years now and during this time I have found their technical support, design and customer service excellent, they have always been very courtesy and nothing is too much trouble for them. We are delighted with our recent modification and new look site and certainly would be happy to recommend them.

Excellent value - but can be basic
Always helpful and informative staff, no questions left unanswered. Website builder was sometimes difficult to work with, wouldn't always respond to changes. A decent package overall, good value for money - I didn't feel the need to look elsewhere for a website provider.

Happily Revamped Website
Although I wasn't keen to upgrade my website in order to make it mobile friendly as I was happy with the old one, am now pleased I did. Megan and Amy at Freestart have been very helpful in getting it as I wanted it, patiently tweaking it here and there. And I am a fusspot... but now a happy fusspot!

Expensive, bad customer service
I set up a website with Freestart in 2006, when I knew very little about computers. I think my site was quite good back then. BUT - where other providers constantly improve their product and you can update your site to the latest option for free, Freestart charge for every change. They frequently ring to try to sell you features you either don't need, or which should be free. It's annoying to be told by your website provider that your site is outdated, and for 'only' an extra £150 you can have the new version.
I knew I had to change. My site did not work on smartphones. The final straw came when, without telling me first, Freestart took payment from my credit card for the next year, four and a half months before the due date. I gave notice (which has to be ten weeks, so I was well within time limits). Did I get a refund? Eventually, after ten days' prevarication, suggestions I might get 'part' of it back, and being told the director would have to be consulted.
I'm now building a new website with another website provider.

Website upgrade
I have been with Freestart for the past 10years, we have recently done an upgrade with them on our website. We have found this company to have been extremely helpful and professional with the full setup on the website. Any few problems we ever had they were just a phone call away and it was always to a UK customer support centre and it was always sorted. I would have no problems whatsoever recommending Freestart PLC to anyone. It has been one of the better decisions our company has made.

Excellent website though we've had a few niggles with the company.
Our website is truly a master piece we absolutely love it and it's bringing clients through to us all the time.
The annual cost of up keep is very good too we are happy with the price of this. To upgrade the website can be costly but worth while. But there's no payment option with free start pay in full or nothing which was tricky round Xmas as a bridal shop they had deals on that expired and the manager wouldnt hold the price for us. Which I found unreasonable as we have been customers of free start for a while so be prepared to pay. When you have a problem with the site its always quickly resolved. We are very happy overall that's why we have given 4 out of 5 starts just make sure you get everything you paid for write down everything they offer you as there were a few things they forget to upgrade that they say is included in price I feel this is just human error. Hope this is seen as an honest review.

amazing service. nothing is to much trouble for them
Mike in the sales team was amazing. he didn't try to give me the hard sell he just asked what I needed, He explained how the design and support team worked gave me my options and left the decision to me. I couldn't have asked for better service from him
the design team are amazing they ask what and how you want things and make sure everything is how you wanted before they launch it.
the support team are hands on and nothing is to much trouble for them. they deal with your request within hours even if they are short staffed. I couldn't with for a better service. thank you guys

Outstanding service from professional staff
I was recently contacted by Mike at Freestart to enquire as to whether I would be interested in upgrading my website for our B&B business and creating an App. The initial phone call was not in the least a "hard sell" but much more of presenting options that might have been of interest to me.I found the information clear and, as had been thinking about making changes anyway, was very happy to discuss how Freestart could help me. Throughout the process of making these extremely efficient and swift changes all staff member I have had contact with have been courteous, helpful and attentive.In particular Mike has rung/emailed regularly to make sure I was happy with the service.
I have no hesitation in recommending Freestart to other small businesses wishing to upgrade their websites and then have the ongiong support to manage the site themselves.
