Edited: I do not appreciate being called a liar in response to my review, particularly when my review reflects my genuine experience. I ask that your false response be removed. If it remains, I will consider raising the matter further with the relevant organisations. Again!

After months of poor communication, ongoing delays, and repeated obstacles which at times appeared intended to discourage me from pursuing a resolution, GH Motors Ltd have now finally paid following court proceedings.

The faults with the vehicle appeared almost immediately after purchase. Independent evidence supported this, yet resolving the matter became unnecessarily difficult and prolonged.

The matter proceeded to court and judgment was awarded in my favour, including:
• Refund of the vehicle cost
• Court fees
• Hire vehicle expenses
• Inspection costs
• Loss of earnings

My advice to anyone purchasing a used vehicle:

* Keep all communication in writing
* Obtain independent inspections early
* Understand your consumer rights
* Keep copies of all evidence and documents throughout the process
* Make a note of your mileage

Nice people to buy a car from, made the job very easy, I rang up, left a deposit over the phone, picked the car up a few days later. Will definitely be back.

Bought a Volvo xc60 over the phone from the guys here in January ! friendly and helpful ! And gave an honest appraisal of the car as we lived 130 miles away in scotland !! Did have a friend who
Lived locally fortunately to have a look at it for me and the guys were friendly and courteous without being pushy to him as well ! And reported car was as described . My only slight criticism was they had no card machine as I was planning on putting some of it on a card as was largely a cash sale ! But apart from that tip top ! I dealt with Eddie originally and car was handed over by Chris top lad

We went in to see the merc e class avant they had but it was in poor condition. The exhaust and heater inside the car smelt like they was burning, the left door handle on the back was jagged I almost cut myself on it, little damage here and there hit its to be expected of an old car but it had too much wear and tear even on the inside where the fabric and leather was ripping. When we asked about the door handle the salesman apparently didn't know it was there makes you wonder if they even checked the car before putting it for sale. The salesman was nice but he knew nothing about the car along with all the damage on it. It wouldn't have passed the mot test there's no point in selling a car that wouldnt even pass that.

Members of the public be awear i was in the process of bying a car off these pepole as it looked good on there website e eveything look very comp but i was very close to closing the deal i went dkwn to have a closer look at the car and tbe place to wich i was bying it from well the car was there in it glory to be fair it looked good ber in mind it is 14 yrs old and the way it was put in the way the told tge story about the car was very good it pulled me in so much i put a dep down on the car to take it off sale but as it got closer for me to go and pick it up somthing said to me go and look around the car now we are talking about a 10.000 pound car mercdes gla you would at lease expect it to be in resable conditon well please xo not be under any alosion when i got there the car was dirty it got marks on drivers door the rear seat had a crack in it msg about 4inches long the sale man said to me after all its 14 years old i repied i dont care if the car was 1 yr old to 25years old you have stated the car is in mint condtion this is not as you have said in your advert so therefore i am cancelling the deal so i said what about my dep he said ,ou have lost it i said why he then went on to say i can get that fixed i said sure you can cowboy style i said nothanks so please do not buy a car frkm here unless you need your head testing please do not be lead into a load of wrong wording in a advert as it could end up costing you dearly i also said you wear hoping that i djd not see that and when i did see it later you would of said to me it was not like that when it left here he said no i would not i said of course you would and i would of have to get it repaired my self at my cost i do not thnk so please please stay away find a better dealer to go with and at least be able to sleep at night knowing ,ou did the correct thing

I bought the car from them and after first 100miles on motorway amber engine light show up plus message asking for dpf regeneration .after investigation in independent Jaguar specialist they find out the engine oil old no sticky at all , oil filter look very bad and also other faults , all cost me 1000£ plus my time and stress and now they don’t want to compensate me as I didn’t go by them warranty process is a Big joke .check your cars properly before buying from them.

I received my car back finally on the 4th nov 2025 after 100 days of being repaired
Six days later having driven it twice and done only 30 miles the red triangle came on and the car went into limp mode
I have apparently had a new turbo fitted but when asked I’ve received no warranty/guarentee on said repair
The aa have come to rescue me and have advised that there is a problem with the airflow through my new turbo making the car undrivable again
This situation is now been ongoing for four months
No one is willing to help me
DONT BUY A CAR FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT

Fast and professional

Viewed a lovey Audi A1 just over a week ago as a new car for my wife.The car was in fabulous condition with a very high spec which is exactly what we were looking for. It had a couple of minor cosmetic things I asked to be sorted & when we collected the car yesterday it was perfect, everything I’d asked to be done and more.
Was relaxed & stress free from start to finish, I’m generally very hard to please with car condition but couldn’t be happier & my wife is over the moon. Highly recommend G H Motors, thanks guys 👍🏻

A couple of hiccups in the road with this purchase but everyone was super helpful and by the time I picked it up the car was as perfect as could be expected! Considering some things mentioned, it was above and beyond my expectations and I would highly recommend these guys!

What I can say, for me everything was perfect,

After a slight change with the pick up times to collect a car, unfortunately I couldn’t make it, however after speaking to Neil over the phone he managed to deliver the car the same day! Brilliant customer service, highly recommend.

Dealt with Neil to early to give a real review only picked car up on 29th Sept, small problem fixed before i picked car up but still not right ordered new part myself to do as trim not put back right ,other than that car brilliant drive really well xc60 cant fault G H Motors up to now . Will update in a couple month.

Brilliant service from start to finish. Collected from Mansfield Woodhouse station (just let the guys know which train you are arriving/leaving on. It's 5 minutes from GH Motors). Good, long test drive. No sales pressure at all. Car very well presented. Exactly as described on website/phone. Pick-up date agreed and stuck to. Car PDI and 12 months MoT. Amazingly clean in/out. The team are really cheerful and made the transaction a pleasure.
