I've been with Gigaclear for a number of years now after they rolled out a fibre broadband connection to our village. Suddenly speeds went from less than 10Mbs with BT to 200+Mbs with Gigaclear and a whole new world of streaming and gaming opened up for everyone, all for a cheaper price than people were paying to BT.
What is particularly good about their service is that if things do go wrong, or they need to carry out maintenance, they let you know and keep you informed of progress.
Speeds are consistently good and you get what they say - none of this 'up to XX' claims. In additional, the reliability of the connection is excellent.
So when it came up to my contract renewal again, they notified me about a month beforehand and I contacted them to see if there were any deals. Speaking with Baily and he couldn't have been more helpful. We hatched a great deal, with an additional router included. Another 18-month contract for me at a great price.
A top class company.

The dreaded time came to renew our contract. Contacted customer services and spoke with Bailey. After some negotiation, some humour and some friendly banter I was more than happy to renew for another eighteen months.

Anil was professional and demonstrated how he understood the value of the customer. He listened to the history, heard the new requirement and returned a better offering which I was exceptionally happy with.

STEER CLEAR OF GIGACLEAR
Coming up to the end of my 18 month contract and due to slow Internet, router issues and very limited customer service options I am moving my broadband to Plusnet. I've been paying £22 per month on my contract.
Speaking with John at customer service today, there are several sneaky Ts and Cs and despite changing providers after my 18 month contract expires I have been hit with a whopping £38 fee for 13 days because despite being outside of my contract term, they are demanding 30 days notice to cancel. Hmmm!!
Please think twice before signing up to their broadbsnd service. So had I stayed with them my monthly fee for 400mps would have zoomed up from £22 per month to £80 per month!!!
It's no wonder the company is struggling financially. I definitely will not be going back to them.
Gigaclear have text me this morning with my account number following their reply below and I have responded to that message. Awaiting reply.

My call to gigaclear today was answered by Thomas with courtesy and in a very calm and very helpful manner.
If all employees of gigaclear are the same as Thomas , gigaclear will go from strength to strength.

Called to negotiate my new cotract rate and received 1st class service. Polite, friendly and so so helpful. Needless to say my contract was renewed

Gigaclear is one of the few companies in England that actually values customer loyalty. They approach promptly via email before the expiration of the current broadband contract and suggest upfront to communicate with their customer service team. I would also like to thank Ms Hollie, the customer service representative (an actual human) able to assist me and offer me a discounted price for my renewal as a reward for renewing the contract. I highly recommend Gigaclear to anyone looking for high speed broadband in rural areas.

We've all been there when the introductory offer ends and then faced with a significantly higher bill. Lucy, in the customer loyalty team helped me get a better deal that was good enough to stay. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Thanks again Lucy.

Sam was very clear, patient and helpful. I now have full service back and understand a little manure about the whole system.
Could have done without the initial problem as half a day has gone but once the outside service issue was resolved I was able to reconnect everything as a result of the clear intruction.
