Brilliant Staff…
I went in to GoOutdoors and wanted to browse. In many stores like this, the staff are pretty apathetic and don’t really engage. A young lady passed me to Harry, who was very knowledgeable about roof tents and boxes. Sam helped me with tables and a fridge and Alfred - who was on the checkout - was superb. They were all engaging, knowledgeable and very helpful and any store would benefit from having staff like those at GoOutdoors Exeter. Well done to all and thanks.

At your Exeter, Marsh Barton, branch I was assisted by one of the Store Colleagues called Larry to purchase hiking boots. He was super helpful and used previous customer experiences to aid me in buying boots that suit my needs. I eventually decided to go up size and am genuinely very happy with my choice.

Alfred at the Exeter Branch was great! He brought me all the walking shoes I asked for and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble! He gave sound advice and was very helpful and patient. An excellent member of staff!

Third broken tent pole, with a happy ending
I came back in again with my third broken Berghaus bedroom tent pole! Luckily for me a really helpful man, his name is Jake took a lot of time and trouble to find me a replacement pole out the back. No spares so I brought a replacement pack with discount kindly given by Jake as I had to buy a pack. Jake then took everything out the back and replaced/fixed my broken poles. What a star! 🤩

After numerous times trying to purchase a jacket on line, I spoke to Josh at the Exeter store who quickly sorted out my problem & reserved my item in store. 5 stars to Josh for being polite, knowledgeable, competent & friendly. Went into buy a tent
Went into buy a tent, was asked if I need any help - amazing they were heavy.
Got to the till Josh was waiting with a smile I asked for help to the car and there was no grumble he was yep no problem.
I previously shopped and bought 4 other tents - and the service level was the same! Top notch!
